This is one of the games I'm most excited about. I always wanted to learn martial arts, but due to a medical condition I'm not allowed to, so games like these make me really happy.
Try tai chi or chi qong…. Just breathing exercises… look it up… soft martial arts, if you like it and progress you may find you it may help with condition… I’m assuming no heavy contact sports either… don’t think martial arts as just fight but as focus or healing

But ive stopped since ive been diagnosed with herniated disc.. to make it even worse ive developed varicocelle.. so the doctors completely shutted me from doin weight lifting again. If i may know. What kind of medical condition u have. Sorry for askimg. Just bein curios.
As a Martial artist myself I understand the techniques and have a keen eye details involved on the fighting scenes. Im happy to see that the game devs are doing their research and hiring real people that has real knowledge.

@@ImmortalXUchiha Dude play Fallen Order. Parries, dodges, reversals, bullet deflection....all without being too difficult. One of the greatest third person, weapon-based action games I ever played.
Ikr. So far we only got Streets of Rage 4, Lost Judgment, and soon River City Girls 2, TMNT, and this game. Hopefully there will be more brawlers games in the future. Would love a new Final Fight, Captain Commando, and Double Dragon.
I can see why Sony are interested in sifu and maybe in sloclap…. The passion, the detail, dedication in how they work…. Plus it’s cultural for the Chinese market, they get it right and there’s huge potential… I’m not saying Sony will acquire them, but the team seem to have the qualities Sony look for… dedication to the craft… and who knows maybe other areas will open up for sloclap…. Sony are in the fgc with evo too and have a whole slew of other IPs that require combat and narrative…. I’m Chinese and since the unveiling I was sure that there must’ve been someone Chinese involved… just the name and the calligraphy and the look of the art….. my surprise when there’s no Chinese person involved but an entire team invested in and dedicated in getting the reference material right!
So Awesome... and it's really cool how the Devs are balancing the beauty of the martial arts action with the Chinese cultural aspect.. Ultimately I feel like the game will really draw you into the games desperate world of true hand to hand combat. Kudos to all involved.
Yeah....Jet Li is a dedicated, long-time martial artist, who has won many tournaments, long before he was a movie star, and actually competed against adults as a 12-year-old. Guess they DO fight like that, huh? And the irony of someone commenting on what is VERY obviously a Wuxia game with the words "no-one fights like that" is so sharply ironic it cuts.

Absolver was a ton of fun! Although it's campaign was really short it had a bit of content to keep you coming back along with some replay ability.

I hope that after Sifu they could also go back and fix some issue of Absolver too, i still feel it have the most unique combat today.
