I'd forgotten all about that trailer! And to think, we were supposed to get a movie from Sleeping Dogs that never came to fruition. Sadness.
Now this is how you advertise a game in real life. Very well done. The stuntman who injured him with the machete looked like the one from the MHA real life adaptation fan tribute. I think his quirk name is Heiki.
Correct, that's Jay Kwon. Funny that you mentioned that MHA spin-off considering it's the same director. 😆
Thanks so much for clarifying Scott. I love these directors. They inspire me everyday.
Thanks for giving me the actors name.
@@scottjameson5358 Jay's a badass man glad I found his channel through sloyerstunts sure he was in the punisher too
Just want to add, the director's youtube channel is called rivenx3i. You can check all sort awesome work he did there. He's also action designer for Shang-Chi, King's Man, & many others
6:29 "it is at this moment, he realized that... 'When did you grow a beard"?
Dang! That was epic! The game is amazing but THAT.....THAT was reeeeeeedic! Absolutely does the game justice! BRAVO! What a breath of fresh air! Haven't seen martial arts in a movie like that for a loooooong time.
This deserves a slow clap, because it's frigging incredible! So well shot! Can easily see what's happening in the fight scenes, really well edited, incredible!
7:57 dude i was reading your comment and this part showed “SLOCLAP” haha
4:16 - The most deadly of all ancient martial arts weapons: The wooden basket crate! I'm glad to see that old staple featured in 2022, or else this wouldn't be a true martial arts film. On a serious note, we now know why the main character gets older every time he is defeated. The game looks great, and I can't wait to play it.
This choreography was beautiful. I want the whole film now. So hyped for this game.
The perfect team to produced this action movie. Always love RivenX3i
This is pure talent. I love everything already about the game, this live action is even better, this needs to become a franchise, the world needs more stuff like this. Congratulations Sloclap, you did a amazing game, and concept as well.
This was better than a lot of Hollywood movies. This shows how Hollywood's so-called artists take a lot more money and put the least of their efforts into their work.
Congrats on making this amazing artwork 👑💎
This was very impressive and should be done as a movie. So well done!!
This is legendary, words are not enough to describe how great it is
Legitimately guys, I haven't been so excited for a game in a while. The thought behind it, the gameplay looks so slick and polished. Indie devs are the ones we need to protect
This is probably one of the best live-action trailers I've seen in a long time.
This was nothing short of an incredible trailer. Well done to everyone involved. I can't wait to play the game tomorrow!
Incredible! This was better crafted than 99.9% of $100M hollywood productions. Wow!
This is one of the best video game trailers I seen in a long time, well done Sloclap. The Sound and music is incredible. I’m seriously hyped for this game.
Sloclap had nothing to do with this. This is the work of Christopher Cowan (Go look up RivenX3i youtube channel). He's a AAA fight choreographer that does fight sequence directing/writing on marvel films, star wars and tons of other big budget movies.
Lots of little things in there from the game that people will surely notice once it releases 🙂
Amazing. This needs to be a live action movie or a series. Sony, make it so!
Why Sony?
Not sure Sony made this...this was definitely made by people with creative minds.
Every second is so Poetic, this NEEDS to be a full length film!!! Makes me wanna watch Onk Bak the Thai Warrior now
One of the best cinematic trailer based on a game franchise that i ever see! Cheers for all involved this!
*cough sleeping dogs
@@ESFDragxnFistEntertainment Hey thanks man, i didn't know that sleeping dogs had a cinematic too! Now i need to edit my original comment haha
Whoever green lit this, filmed it directed it planned the choreography, uploaded it thank you! What an awesome promo! Hope it translates to sales .. imma get it
When the guy with the machete came in and countered him I imagined all the countless takedowns turned supersaiyans and immediately wanted to punch the screen
Make a full film please and thank you! This was awesome!
This movie needs to happen. Incredible choreography! I love the camera work too. The singular focus that allowed him to see only his target, then planning around to show everything else in the room. Amazing. I would love to see this movie on a big screen.
Concepts like this are proof that creativity thankfully still exists in the gaming space.
Probably the best live action trailer I’ve seen from any game
Muito top, parabéns pra quem fez essa obra prima! Um dos melhores trailers de adaptação que eu já vi.
OMFG!!! I got chills like crazy!!! What an amazing short film!!!
This is literally the coolest thing I have ever watched
This was way too well done. Im happy to have and play this game and this made it even more hype that it already is
Three words…Absolute F***ing Cinema
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Just want to reiterate what others have already said - the fight choreography in this trailer is amazing - FAR better than what i see in most Hollywood movies!
If Jet Li was in his prime he would've been perfect as Sifu.
Devastatingly Awesome 👏👏👏
Jeez! Sony is freaking insane man! What a great job with this! I wasn't that excited for Sifu, now I'm going to buy it!
ME ENCANTÓ!!! Sigan con el buen trabajo muchachos ya que inspiran a mucha gente a jugar y a seguir conociendo las ARTES MARCIALES!!!
I’m definitely getting this game. I always wanted a pure martial arts action driven game
5:04 Me and my classmate when holding broom
Now I need a full 2 hour movie with great vfx and choreography
This is just beautiful, I love the way he fights his way through everyone and giving the cost of his life from each failure in order to learn from them and become something new
If this became a movie or show I would definitely watch this! It’s everything I look for in a Martial Arts movie!
