Haha!! You're reaction to the angry face made me laugh as much as you were laughing. Awesome review man! Can't wait for your Herbie Fully Loaded review.
I think I remember this being shown on British television years ago during the Christmas Holidays. I was annoyed when it to be another Herbie film and didn't have a chance to record it (VHS) as far as I know it's never been broadcast again. I really hate the fact that's never had a DVD release, or been a part of the DVD box-set with the other films I've got. I have all the other films except this one. I just want to know the excuse that Disney must have on why they've never released this on DVD. This is a prime example of people having to do piracy because there's no legitimate steaming platform that features it.
It’s starting to get difficult with each passing movie for them to explain how no one knows about Herbie. Especially when the main characters are Racers. A racer from any era would definitely know of a beetle like Herbie that has won countless races around the world and with his unique Douglas special paint scheme. Yeah he would be a legend and would not be treated like shit by this point. There have been racing cars that have become legends in real life for doing a lot less lol
Now that you've mentioned the first wife, I have a theory that the studio might be embarrassed by the third movie, like how Freddy's Dead is embarrassed by the events of parts 2, 4 and 5. Sadly, not even that could save the 6th Nightmare on Elm Street movie.
It's almost like that one Ash Vs Evil Dead episode where Ash's car gets possessed....except in this case, nobody dies lol EDIT: Well....except maybe for the Hate Bug car lol
I always thought that it was a missed opportunity to have a hateful car based on Volkswagen Golf/Rabbit as that car replaced Beetle, and it was nothing like Beetle, it was not a charming, cute, affordable car, it was square, front engined, front wheel drive econobox that was just well built, and with the 1970s being the end of Beetle in Germany, it would be a perfect way to symbolise the counterpoint to the love and peace ideals of the decade before.
3:11 Dean Jones's singing voice isnt bad (hell, I heard he sang in a brodway musical once), but those lyrics, my friend said they sounded like they were written by a 12 year old which I honestly agree
I remember when I was little I would look online for the Love Bug (1969) but found this on youtube and I was so confused and thought "THE HELL IS THIS CRAP
Not sure if I've ever seen a scenario like this before. Closest might be Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (A prequel to Michael Bay's Texas Chainsaw remake)
It's strange that this has never been released on DVD or Blu Ray. Not even streaming has it. You can only find it on video. But, I thought it was a pretty good film. It's the first Herbie movie I saw. Also, I thought Horace the hate bug was scary as a kid.
Fully loaded is the second worst only to this one. although the first scrap yard scene is good as is matt dillion as the villain and Lindsay Lohan’s breasts
You wanted it to be like James Bond with cars? I think Pixar already did that... And it wasn't pretty. And you just couldn't resist making a Jojo reference at the end.
Well, the guy who played Ash Williams, Bruce Campbell owning Herbie does sound good on paper, but sounds like failed in making it work. Maybe that's why Bruce and Sam normally work best together.
It could be, but I don't this one is canon to Love Bug films because the guy who created Herbie said that Herbie is only the living car in existence which makes no sense because other cars also come to life in the Love Bug films. I think this movie is a part of the Love Bug franchise still.
26:34 this may be Herbie's cutest honking ever. I'd love to have that horn on a car

Fun fact: Micky Dolenz plays the eccentric custom car dealership owner. He is best known for being the lead singer and drummer in the Monkees

As of June 2nd 2023, this movie is still not available on Disneyplus
Horace is like a combination of Christine and the Duel truck.
Correct
With a little bit of *The Car* sprinkled in
At least the horrible things Christine did, was out of love for her owner. Horace is just pure hatred.

Buckleth in for the next one, my friend, for it is quite the bumpy ride, if you get my drift.

He is Scottish but Scotland is part of Great Britain, so Scottish people are British, same as English people and Welsh people are also British.
So is the next one the Lindsay Lohan movie
