Man, the more I watch your videos about Buyee the more I am hesitant to make that first purchase using their service. But, it is a 2023 goal so I will probably jump in soon. Thanks for the content
Damn I’m glad you had a good outcome at the end but that sucks that they put you through that. I just recently about two weeks ago ordered for the first time on Buyee and everything felt odd because the updates on what was happening weren’t coming through felt delayed. I think what freaked me out too the most was how fast they were to instantly charge me after winning a bid. Nothing compares to what you went through from my experience but man they need to work better on tracking and updating their customers. My package was successfully shipped to warehouse and just yesterday shipped over so it’s on the way. My only concern now is receiving and getting what I ordered because I feel like Buyee wouldn’t have my back if something went wrong or they would but I fear it would be a process just like you experienced. We shall see but I hope they get their shit together if more situations like this occur.
thnaks for sharing. One thing to note.. Buyee didnt state shipping cost in the invoice but i have chosen the shipping options from their apps , funny though... at the end , my shipping cost was estimated based on IATA which was triple than my actual shipping cost, thus the duty import tax also increase...
Yeah listening to this pisses me off. Since I bought counterfeit cards I also had to deal with their customer service. That thing you keep emphasising, that Buyee hides behind their proxy service status is so true. They won't do anything on your behalf and are extremely petty about keeping your money. You'd think they make so much from service fees and their useless inspection plans that they could afford to look after their customers every once in a while.
Glad you got your money back but from your other videos you've also already lost too much. Thanks for putting the word out. Apparently all the other proxies are similar though (and I've used Buyee for a couple years now, just not for cards), so that's a shame.

I had a very similar experience with zenmarket a few years back and a case of dream league where I never received a refund even after the month or so of dealing with CS. Happy to year your case was eventually resolved ☺

I don't believe you can. Id message anyway just to be sure but Id be very surprised if they did. Its been a while so maybe their standards have changed.
Buyee customer service is absolutely useless, they had a downsizing update so I emailed them and asked if they offered downsizing specific packages now. They replied with a 5 paragraph step by step tutorial on how they plan to package items now. Literally couldn't even answer my yes or no question.
i only buy from highly rated sellers.... and usually buyee does eventually refund orders if sellers never ship or if buyee never gets the package. and i dont make large bulk buys, sellers know those are going overseas and may try to take advantage. being greedy usually backfires.
Funny thing was this seller had thousands of positive feedback. I'm happy to know how it works now tho. Thanks for watching dude.
@@JavaAkuma dang, i see. well, i guess the seller just regretted listing them. they often do that which is annoying but usually they cancel fast and you get your refund fast. buyee has been great to me personally with refunding. unless a card arrives damaged in which case youre screwed, but oh well.
I just checked and have 2x100 nagaba pack lots still not marked shipped nor cancelled. Never had to message them on anything so far but here goes my first one

They are responsible smfh. I agree with you they need to stop hiding behind the line that they’re a proxy service. It doesn’t look good at all.
I think i fell victim to bait and switch scam. The seller has probably gave me a highly played card despite the image of the card provided being a perfect condition card. In this case I did not use PayPal but only use credit card. Do you think I can get my money back via bank? My bank has partnership with Mastercard for my Credit card. Any how should i go about positioning my case?
I am certainly not an expert on this but personally I would reach out to my credit card company and see what they can do.
@@JavaAkuma Thank you for your advice. Currently i still have items i need to ship out of Buyee warehouse. Once I am left with that fraudulent item, I will quickly do a chargeback. I am not sure what's the chances of getting back my money.
@@gavinlim93 I heard that if you use you bank to refund you,Buyee will ban you forever.After that, it is probaly time to look for a better proxy service.
Mine also got cancelled, long after initial transaction, just don't use Mercari.
I exclusively use Mercari and typically it's great but just hadn't run into this scenario before. Glad to understand how it works now tho. Should save a lot of future headaches.

Lol! There is little buyer protection but the video provides some info about how order cancellation works. Hopefully it helps if you ever decide to dip your toes in.
