Loved seeing a Gentleman opening and closing the car door for his wife. Reminds me so much of my late husband who did this even while he was in a wheelchair =) ... thanks for sharing. Big smiles from the North OK Valley
At almost 58, a veteran, with breathing issues. I stopped for about 30 seconds at the hood, and was asked to stop opening her door. I am also stubborn 😊and have not stopped yet.
@@On-down-the-road thank you for being stubborn =), my late husband was in a wheelchair after he lost most of his leg due to a blood clot. He opened my door and doors at stores for me and anyone who would let him. I am grateful for all who do as my sight is going. My late husband was an American-I am a Canadian, so thank you for your Service.
I’m an aviator, so for the drones I suggest “Maverick” and “Goose” but obviously y’all get the final say in that. Lol 😜 I do have to say that I love watching your videos, it is absolutely amazing to see a couple like you two who are life partners who do everything TOGETHER, and enjoy doing it to the fullest that you possibly can! Most men would rather soak their underwear in gasoline and then run through the red hot flames of hell to get outta going into hobby lobby with their wives, but I think that is a beautiful thing to see a couple who is so happy together, and enjoy every single second they can together, really it is a beautiful thing, it really is! I could only dream of having a life partner like y’all do, you all are very fortunate and lucky to have such a beautiful relationship like that. I’d give all that I just mentioned up to have her back, but that’s not gonna happen, I’ll have to enjoy my retirement the best I know how alone, so I’m gonna give you the best advice a younger lesser intelligent man such as myself can give you, and that advice is to NEVER take those moments for granted, because in the blink of an eye they’ll all become a distant memory, I know all about that, first hand. But my son and I thoroughly enjoy your videos, it gives me a special kind of feeling to see someone living out their dreams together, just as y’all do each day!

Hello friends, what you are looking for are decals in Spanish And we tell them CALCOMANIAS, I am your friend Carlos and I watch your interesting videos, I wish you the best, greetings from MEXICO
@Carlo_AT. Me ganó! 😂 I was just about to tell Sondra the same as you. The word that she was using was a new one to me, never heard that one before. You might have found them where school supplies are sold. You guys are fun to watch. Greetings, be safe!
When I saw that needle in the red zone (of the pressure meter connected to the CO2 tank), I entered a state of panic. Thank the heavens for that welding supply shop and for David's alertness. Sondra enters Hobby Lobby like I enter Best Buy😂, but when she went full Annie Jump Cannon tracking that solar, on the floor no less, that was the highlight for me. Thursdays can't come fast enough! ❤
Thanks, Raoul- As always a great supporter of the channel and a source of fulfillment for ourselves. I knew we were close on the C02 but didn't realize it was THAT close! Sondra definitely loves Hobby Lobby! See you next week.
Thank you so much for the nice comment. We're excited that the channel is as big as it is... it's just our travels as fulltime RVers so it's pretty funny that we've grown as big as we are...however, I do agree with you! 😆 🤣
Great video David and Sondra! @35:20, you start talking about Sondra's capturing of the sun angle hitting your solar collectors--great example of very practical geometry!!! Also a great example of thinking quantitatively. Hope some geometry teachers see this and use it!
Geometry is one of my favorite subjects! RVers use Geometry all the time and don't even know it - especially if they tow a trailer. Tangents, turning radius, etc. I can do an entire series on the importance of math (and physics) is to RVing... but my nerdiness would probably freak too many people out. 🤓 🤣
Sondra is such a geek, Pete. But it does help us to orient properly to maximize the solar potential. You are so correct that it is a very applicable use of geometry in our daily life. We hope others see that as well.
Sondra's would love a Victron solar system with a GX device that uploads all the data to the cloud. Then you can review and plot a huge amount of data for solar and battery power/voltage/amps over any day/time frame. Great for us data nerds! Love the channel! Absolutely loved your Alaska series last summer.
Thanks for the information, after I ran across you Chanel I can’t stop watching, I owned a trucking company for 29 years and bought only Volvo tractors , and now have a ATC 40’ fifth wheel, so I’m interested in everything you guys are doing , keep it up ! I should have held onto one of my tractors . HA I had eight tractors and fourteen drivers all team runs for FedEx Ground.
Oh wow, Scott. That's cool. Appreciate your time watching the channel. ATC is an interesting RV manufacturer, close to completely custom. How do you like it? Good quality? 40 feet behind you...a Volvo tractor would have been nice.
Enjoy your videos! Sondra I’m intrigued by your journal. Would enjoy a video where you show us your journal pages and how you do it and what all you use. Thx!

Another great video. I loved Sondra geeking out about the solar documentation, the search for the elusive stickers, her apprehension of using the drone near the wall, and your getting the fall on video and leaving it in the video. I’m glad she wasn’t hurt, but that was priceless that you got it. Lots of great info in this content too.
Thank you, Cheryl. I was surprised that I got it on video. Pretty funny. Sondra was a great sport about it. And she was unhurt...back was a little tender but she was good to go. Appreciate your time watching the channel.
The Geek and Tinkerer in Sandra is what endears her so much to us. Just wish we could get more of her brain-storming and dreaming. Come on Sandra give us more of the “Wouldn’t it be cool if ….”. I know you guy’s are retired, but Sandra’s brain could give us some of the coolest Space Stations ever conceived.
LOL...Her mind is always working and trying to brain storm, EVERYTHING! 🤣😂😎 Comes in handy during planning sessions. Thanks for the comments. Appreciate your time watching the channel.
Another great episode. In keeping with your space theme..how about Aquarius for the name of your drone. You use it to keep you safe looking for camp grounds. For Apollo 13 it was the Lunar module that kept the crew safe for their journey back to earth.
😄WE VISITED LOS ALGODONES TODAY. HAD A GREAT LUNCH. PEOPLE AND VENDORS ARE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND EVERYTHING WAS A "GOOD PRICE TODAY". FREE FOR THE LADIES BECAUSE THE HUSBAND PAYS. WAS GREAT TO MEET YOU YESTERDAY. I ENJOYED OUR VISIT AND CONVERSATION. TRAVEL SAFE AND WE'LL SEE YOU DOWN THE ROAD. ALOHA
Mahalo for the comments and really glad you had a great time "south of the border". All the vendors sell for "almost free". 😂😎It was great to talk story with you yesterday and we'll definitely see you down the road. Good luck on the build. Aloha
Loving the spreadsheets! My wife would be in heaven! Always nice to see a gentleman open doors for the lady. Gotta keep those CO2 tanks completely full! Food and apple fritters looked awesome! We have our own containers for our apple fritters too!
Sondra loves the spreadsheets. And I knew we were in trouble when she pulled out the storage container. They were tasty! Oh you know it on the C02... but I do have backup tanks!
Such wonderful, fun, and amazing videos! One needs to be an excellent troubleshooter to stay on top of the daily repair and travel problems that invariably happen! Best Wishes!!!!
Lots of moving parts in an RV, Bryan. You end up being a bit of a "jack of all trades" kind of experience and repair knowledge. Thank you for watching the channel and appreciate your comments.
Hi guys , my wife and I were up at the chapel at the center of the world yesterday and I pointed out an HDT with a large fifth wheel way out on the BLM land, pretty sure that was you guys. My wife and I have been full time for almost 2 years now, we’re staying in Yuma for a couple more weeks , love your channel and your set up is awesome.
I believe it...that would be hard for us to live in a place that goes weeks with not much sunshine. We enjoyed the Alaskan summers...not sure about the winter. Thanks for watching and appreciate your comment.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing, Brad! It is truly a small world out there. You're now famous since you've been on TH-cam! 🤣😁Hope your stay at Sidewinder has been good.
I had my teeth done in Los Algadones in 2010, I had 13 root canals, 25 crowns and bridge for $8250..sounds like prices have gone up or my mom and dads dentist gave me a good deal! I see memories when you are wandering around down there! Love your channel!!
Hi Kids, we have always found Sidewinder a little too busy for our taste. We go one exit west, then north past Ogilby. We always stay about half a mile south of Tumco Historic Mine for 2 weeks...this area is the most beautiful Southern Cal desert there is...my personal paradise. We even got to watch Osprey helicopters do aerial refueling form this location.
Sounds great! That would be cool. We'll probably check that location out next time but we had stayed at the VFW BLM previously but that is REALLY crowded!
If I had a rig like yours I'd stay at RV parks. Quartzite is different but not worth the trouble of waiting in the dump line, or keeping up with water and sewage. We are glampers. LOL. Hope the Joshua Tree trip worked out great. Catch you in the next video. Happy travels! Keep up the corny jokes, David! Sondra, you do a great job journaling and keeping up with "stuff."☺
We like a good RV resort but have a tough time justifying the expense since we don't use the amenities due to us being out and about visiting the area. One of these days... 😆 Thank you for watching the channel.
I missed you two in Quartzite. You might like Temecula and I think I can get you into the VFW Winchester post that has lots of room and is about a half hour away.
Sounds nice. I've heard of Temecula but don't know much about it. Love to visit California... don't want to live there but really enjoy the state to visit... after LA Nina is over! 😆
I get that on all counts, 😂 Temecula is loaded with wineries. We are an easy drive for day trips to San Diego, the beach, mountains, Brea Tar pits, LA 🤮 aka, Hollywood. Just look past the homeless and it's nice. 😂 😁😉😜
We were at our home base RV park in Southern California when the atmospheric river storm hit and it was pretty intense but not as bad as tropical storm Hillary was. We left Tuesday to head back to Arizona and passed through the area of Joshua Tree. The rain there wasn’t nearly as intense as where we came from. But I think the storm followed us to Arizona.
Sounds like you made it through the rains. We looked afterwards and Joshua Tree did not get all the rain forecasted but we're still glad we made the decision to stay.
You're not alone... 😆 not sure of if you're in good company or not lol 😆 😅 but you're definitely not alone! Super excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
@LonestarHawaiian I believe I live on the other side of DFW from you so we deal with the same storms… I found your channel today and binged on your shop build… mine is the same size & I’ve tried doing a lot of the work myself but not to your extent… anyway, the last storms forced us to replace one of our shop doors. We have 2-14’ doors. We have the insulated garage doors and I will say they stood up better than the chain-roll up doors. So we used Master Doors here in Weatherford and paid $5,725 this past aug/sept ‘23. Cheryl
Sorry to hear about the storms, Cheryl. Glad it wasn't more serious. We fulltime so a lot of our improvements to our rig, we use a lot. Love the DFW area...really enjoy Texas. Thanks
Another excellent video done so well it was very enjoyable and you shared your experience in Mexico which we plan on visiting and wondered about. You made it look so easy to cross; eased our anxieties. We love watching you, keep doing what you're doing!
We feel lucky still driving our 2002 Tiffin Allegro Bus! We have property in Wyoming. There was no summer in 2023! We were freezing July 4th!! We live in Alabama. My mother inlaw lives in Fredonia, but winters in Bouse, AZ
you 2 are sooooooo AMAZING‼️ You know your equipment sooooo well‼️👍😊 And you know how to deal with all the issues that come up‼️👍 Sondra - I can’t believe the work you go to every day with tracking the solar system- Whew‼️Beautiful sunsets👍 I think it was great to show everybody that you can still go to Mexico and enjoy food and the shops- even to walk into the country and come back. And Sondra the drone is very helpful and helps you get some of that cool footage of places you share with us on your wonderful videos😊👍So you need to treat him kindly😊Can you cut a sheet of paper that will fit into your planner and then use it to plan for next week? You are so creative Sondra - I know you will get something to work👍😊❤️‼️
Thank you, Linda. We really enjoy Mexico and the atmosphere. The shops are unique and colorful. We learn everyday about our systems! 😆 Sondra figured out how to save her Journal and did something similar to what you suggested. Thank you very much.
How did you learn all the things you need to be self sufficient, like the vacuum issue you had? We so enjoy your journey and videos. Thanks for what you do.
Great question, Patrick. After 8+ years of fulltime RV and approximately 50 stops per year average then we use our systems regularly and have seen most of these occurrences at least once. Experience is a great teacher and we try to learn from each instance (good or bad).
Sondra, I love your book keeping and role as the lead statistician! I am always amazed watching numbers! (I bet Dave looks a lot closer than he will admit!) Dave... Not sure I understand your water system but it is interesting. If you simply plugged that overflow I suppose your pump would create a vacuum in the tank? If it is setting up some sort of syphon if it gets started by overfilling, how about making a length of hose with the appropriate fitting for the "leaking" pipe and then elevating the other (open) end so that it is higher than the highest level in the tank? Do you think that would stop the leak? Perhaps after the syphon was broken it could be removed, or you could put some kind of screen on the open end of the hose to keep dirt and intruders out if you have to leave it there. Thanks for all of the insight into Mexico in the Yuma area. My wife and I plan on being there in time for Quartzite next year, my first year of retirement. If I see you there, I would sure like to meet you both. ... Mark
It would be great to meet up, Mark. Normally our system does not create this siphon effect when I correctly fill the tank...I was in a hurry and didn't shut it off properly. Yes, you are correct that we had to equalize the system pressure or the water pump would have been impacted. Congrats 👏 on your impending retirement! Lots of fun on the road.
Thank you very much. It was a great experience. We really enjoy our HDT setup and works for our lifestyle. Not for everyone but good for us. Hope you have a great experience in los Algodones. Appreciate you watching the channel.
8 years ago we were skeptical but jumped in and were very happy with the quality of service. This last one we visited was the best. Very nice and knowledgeable.
Voyageur and Orion would definitely find over on Ogilby, north of the tracks accommodating as well. There is more desert pavement (rock) over here as well so maybe a little less dust potential. Great to have a chat with you folks yesterday, and safe travels as you continue on your journeys. See you when you do your Canadian leg. Lots of room at Dogpound North for your rig.
Hello from your Lake Livingston folk ….little lengthy here…I apologize. I should have planned better…just got home last weekend from Johnson Valley for King of the Hammers off-road race. I would have got you in one of our race trucks for a spin. Maybe next year..??…Always same time (ish) of year. You guys are probably gone already from Joshua Tree but just down the road in Lucerne Valley, hang a left and make a trip up and around Big Bear Lake ( BEAUTIFUL drive….not to rig friendly although many a Prevost bus load of skiers headed to the slopes ) Highly recommend a stop at Victorias Family Restaurant in Arrowbear Lake. Great little hangout….ask for Melanie. See ya guys in September.
hey! We're still in Palm Springs. May head up to Joshua Tree in a week...maybe...KOH would be cool to take a spin in a race truck. Hope everything went well and the weather cooperated. See ya in September.
@@bigtruckbigtravels sweet. Big Bear is beautiful drive. Day trip easily from Palm Springs. We finished 12 and 15 overall out of 167 starters. We will get you in one next year if it works out !!!!
Sondra has been thinking about it. We may do something on it in the future. There is a chat group on Big Truck Big Travels Facebook group that is a journal chat.
USSA, that might be more accurate than we'd like to believe. I enjoyed your video. We got some of that storm here on the central coast of CA. It was so windy that we canceled our plans and stayed home one day. We got lots of rain too.
Yes, you need Mexican auto/RV insurance and depending on your length of stay you may need a FMN form though Mexico is starting to eliminate that requirement for Sonora and Baja.
That was great seeing you guys enjoy your travels into Mexico with no issues. That little town is now on our list to try! Also, wanted to ask what is the model of the drone you use? It looks like one I’m eyeballing…. Thanks for sharing your adventures!❤️~Wendy
Having never been to this area, very interesting video. Loved seeing across the border and nice to hear it was pleasant. Seeing all the great food made me hungry. Hope the rain wasn’t too bad. Safe travels
Glad you enjoyed our peek into Los Algodones, MX and the enjoyable experience we had over there. It's a very unique place with tasty food. Thanks for watching.
Great video thanks so much.. another place I'll never get to go but I went with you...what a neat experience..I'd love to eat for days there in Mexico!! See ya soon!
I love your videos!! Watching right now. What drone do you have? And is it one that I would need to be licensed? And so so COOL Sondra’s solar charting. Amazing!😊
Thank you. It's a DJI Mini4 Pro. You don't need a license for this one since it's under the 250g flight weight exemption. Sondra loves charting it... she's such a geek! 😆 🤣
For future reference: you might be able to find stickers at a papelaria (think office supplies/paper goods). Or, there might be a little tienda that sells school supplies. Keep in mind that in Mexico there are very few one-stop-shop stores - each has its own niche.
When I watched you fly your drone in Mexico, I don't know why but it made me think of Gazoo from the Flintstones. So My suggestion for a good drone name would be Gazoo.
😆 ok, that is THE most unique suggestion we have heard...I don't think it will fly... the name not the drone! 😆 Thank you so very much for the comments.
Those rv's you mentioned after you crossed into Cali get a sweet deal from the Casino. For $26.00 per season, they're allowed access to the casino and , (I believe) The pool, Showers, water, and a few other things which elude me. Just call them and ask. Michael Rzewuski
Overseer as a drone name? I watched this 8 months too late and that sketchy drone probably has a name by now. I just found your channel and am catching up with your channel erratically as uTube throws it out for me. It’s been fun. Thank you both.
You guys make me chuckle so many times over, especially over the geeky stuff. The bicycle fall does about warrant a Life Alert button! But you weren't alone, Hubby and camera were there to save the day (and the moment). Bad sand! Los Algodones has more dental, optical, pharmacy than my city! OMG! Maybe I need to move to AZ? Glad you postponed the Joshua Tree stay. I'm wondering how this will pan out since it's been one system after the next there on the west coast. Keep safe!
I had to laugh when you said "almost free"! My husband nd I used to go down to Puerto Vallarta and vendor just to walk the beach selling their goods saying "almost free"!! So that became a funny saying to us. We would always joke almost free all the time! Also the in laws used to live in Green Valley Az and we would always go down to Nogales and cross the border for dinner and shopping. That has been many years ago!
I noticed your “Don’t Mess With Texas” t-shirt. I wondered if you got any comments as you walked around Mexico. Good to see all the Boondocking opportunities.
The only comment on the shirt was a fellow Texan who asked where we were from. Everyone is very pleasant over there and super friendly. Always a great experience.
David, the people (this person) wants to see the journal entries. Sondra, I would love to set campfire with you and discuss your creativity and journaling was applied to your early working days.
Campfire, eh?!? We'll be in Hutchinson, KS, at the Fairgrounds the first week in October prior to the HDT Rally and do a meet up for anyone that wants to hang out.
I’m glad that you didn’t move to Joshua Tree with that mess of a storm being forecast for there. I am looking forward to that video as I am planning a trip (not camping/RVing) to Southern California in a few months and I don’t know what we should see there except the San Diego Zoo … and had Joshua Tree on my list too. Your videos are just plan clean fun to watch! Thank you. Hopefully you came thru the rest of the Pineapple Express well. Looking forward to next week. Take care and God Bless!
Thank you. We'll get to Joshua Tree sometime in the very near future. San Diego has the Old Towne area, Gaslight District, Mission Bay, La Jolla is not far and a neat town plus biking over into Coronado area is fun.

Miss Los Algodones. Used to go there in the early 2000s when we were in El Centro for winter training for the Navy. Liked it much better than Mexicali
I agree. Los Algodones is really nice.
I just started watching your videos the other day and thoroughly enjoy your travels. I also will never buy a RV because something always needs repair!
😆 🤣 they are a rolling earthquake for sure! There are definite pros & cons with this lifestyle. Thanks for watching the channel.
Love all of your videos. My husband and I look forward to seeing your video every week. Can’t wait to see your next video.
Yay! Thank you, Kay! We love having you along with us on the journey. 😀
Just found your video and loved it. Your rig is super. Will be following you more now I found you.
Welcome aboard! Thank you for finding us! We're excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
Another great episode. In keeping with your space theme..how about Aquarius for the name of your drone. You use it to keep you safe looking for camp grounds. For Apollo 13 it was the Lunar module that kept the crew safe for their journey back to earth.
Great suggestion! Thank you. We're going to have to review all the comments and decide. Thank you. 😃
Aloha
"Come back here, this is cool". You had me laughing there.
😆 she was serious! Thanks
Another great video and glad to see that Sandra was not badly hurt like the say you go down and get right back on like nothing happened
Thanks, Lance. That's right...you fall off the horse then you need to get right back on it! 😊😎😂
Another really cool video! You do such a great job of sharing info and laughs!
Thanks so much! We have fun in this lifestyle and like to remember where we go and enjoy sharing those memories.
Thanks, Mike. That's us. Not far from the Center of the World. We're enjoying Yuma but time to hit the road.
Safe travels , hopefully we’ll see you again sometime down the road , we would love to meet you guys.
It’s so sunny. I’m in serious need of vitamin D. Really enjoyed this.
I believe it...that would be hard for us to live in a place that goes weeks with not much sunshine. We enjoyed the Alaskan summers...not sure about the winter. Thanks for watching and appreciate your comment.
OH THOSE MAJESTIC SUNSETS😆😆😆😆❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
They are beautiful, Sharon. Thanks
12:00 minutes in my 5th wheel is center frame 😂
Enjoying your channel 😊
Awesome! Thank you for sharing, Brad! It is truly a small world out there. You're now famous since you've been on TH-cam! 🤣😁Hope your stay at Sidewinder has been good.
The sunsets still capture our beautiful earth. Sondra is wonderfully detailed. Appreciate some $ facts on dental, etc. 🇨🇦 ❤
Thanks, Yvonne. We love the sunsets out here. She is very detailed and keeps us straight.
You will see the same type of blimp close to Key West on a small naval base. I imagine it is looking for people trying to enter the country by water.
Yes, I just thought it might be closer to the actual border. Thanks for the comment. 😃
As retirees from the Los Alamos NM area, I so enjoying Sondra’s “geekiness ”
😆 you should have seen her at the VLA when we toured it! Thank you
On another note you should install a camera inside the trailer to capture what happens as you drive on your adventures on other than perfect roads.
This may come under the auspices of "ignorance is bliss" category, Roy. 😆 🤣
What an enjoyable and interesting video. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it, Steve! Thank you for the comments. Appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
I had my teeth done in Los Algadones in 2010, I had 13 root canals, 25 crowns and bridge for $8250..sounds like prices have gone up or my mom and dads dentist gave me a good deal! I see memories when you are wandering around down there! Love your channel!!
Oh wow! You had a lot of work done. Yes, prices have gone up for sure but it's still a good deal with good quality. Thanks for watching.
Another great video and I hope Sondra didn't get hurt when she came off her bike , I can't wait until the next video .
Thank you, Rose Marie. She's fine...back is a little sore... but she's a trooper.
I enjoy the journal information and as always everything else, especially puns. 😂
😆 don't encourage me too much! Lol 😆 lots of fun. Sondra loves to track stuff and decorate so the journal is perfect for her.
Great vid guys, I honestly thought we would get some quality Mexican puns. I will tell you Juan more time. Happy anniversary you beautiful people.
😆 that's good, Brendan. I'll have to keep that in my back pocket for later. Thanks for the anniversary wishes. Aloha
Great video. Sondra you were so graceful during your fall. Thank goodness for long sleeves and long pants.
She was trying to save the bike! Thanks.
Joni did the same thing when she fell and broke her rib last month. She protectedthe pillow she was carrying and landed on the concrete instead
@c1dancer ouch! Glad it wasn't more serious... like a hip.
@JZCRealtorCA I looked it up... also Balloon rides, historic RR downtown and like you said, lots of wineries. Sounds neat!
Love you guys And your videos!
Thank you, Laurel. We really appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
Thank you for letting me know I am not the only one that crashes in her bike!! You two are amazingly fun😄
You're not alone... 😆 not sure of if you're in good company or not lol 😆 😅 but you're definitely not alone! Super excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
The sunset photos are beautiful,.
AZ sunsets are beautiful. Thank you
@LonestarHawaiian I believe I live on the other side of DFW from you so we deal with the same storms… I found your channel today and binged on your shop build… mine is the same size & I’ve tried doing a lot of the work myself but not to your extent… anyway, the last storms forced us to replace one of our shop doors.
Thanks
Thanks so much for sharinf your boondocking spot in Yuma and your experiences over the border. Now I've got to go. 😂
You're welcome... and you've got to go! Neat experience.
Sondra, so much love for your bujos in the comments…can we PLEASE have a dedicated, in depth bujo video?!?
😆 don't encourage her! 😆 We've been talking about it... we'll see but thank you so much for the comment.
Thanks for the video again! We are looking to go spend a month or so in Yuma in a near future for a change between Quebec winter and there!! 👍
Hi Marco, Yuma is nice with great winter weather. Bring your bikes for the nice path around town. A little change is good! Thanks for watching.
Another excellent video done so well it was very enjoyable and you shared your experience in Mexico which we plan on visiting and wondered about. You made it look so easy to cross; eased our anxieties. We love watching you, keep doing what you're doing!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so very much for your time watching the channel. We enjoy the area.
We feel lucky still driving our 2002 Tiffin Allegro Bus! We have property in Wyoming. There was no summer in 2023! We were freezing July 4th!! We live in Alabama. My mother inlaw lives in Fredonia, but winters in Bouse, AZ
Oh my, Janet...you guys get around the states! Alabama was definitely NOT freezing on July 4th! Thanks for watching.
Sondra, We love your geeky solar stats... thank for sharing with all of us other geeks🧠
Oh man... now, you're encouraging her! 😆 🤣 😂 Appreciate your comments and your time watching the channel. 😃
Disappointed not seeing any guitar shop. I have one on my bucket list. Glad you had fun and tacos 🌮 305❤
Thanks. We've never seen one of those shops in Los Algodones. Interesting. Appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
Wow, this was another fantastic video! Love seeing the country through your eyes!
Thank you very much, Cheryllann! Really appreciate the comments and your time watching the channel. 😃
you 2 are sooooooo AMAZING‼️ You know your equipment sooooo well‼️👍😊 And you know how to deal with all the issues that come up‼️👍 Sondra - I can’t believe the work you go to every day with tracking the solar system- Whew‼️Beautiful sunsets👍 I think it was great to show everybody that you can still go to Mexico and enjoy food and the shops- even to walk into the country and come back.
We were wondering if Sondra has her taste back so that she can fully enjoy her food again. Looks like a fun area. Stay Dry!!
Thanks, Bill. She gets hints of flavors now but she still can't taste. One day...
Hope to see ur vlog at African savanna wildlife 😍
We'd love to make a trip to the real thing... but for now, it will have to be in the USA. Thank you
Hope you folks stayed put. The rain’s been brutal here near beach..
We did, Mary, thank you. Quite a storm system. Hope you're OK.
ME ENCANTAS SUS VIDEOS YO SOY DE PHOENIX AZ Y NO ME PIERDO SUS VIDEOS SALUDOS SANDRA Y DAVID LOS KIERO
Thank you, Francisco. We really appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
(I bet Dave looks a lot closer than he will admit!)
Dave...
Very enjoyable video. Plus, I love your HDT setup. The wife and I will be going there for dental.
Thank you very much. It was a great experience. We really enjoy our HDT setup and works for our lifestyle. Not for everyone but good for us. Hope you have a great experience in los Algodones. Appreciate you watching the channel.
Another great video! Glad to hear I can get quality dental work done on the lower cost range.
Thanks, John. Great talking with you yesterday and enjoyed the Hawaii reminiscing. We'll be back north and would be fun to meet up at the Dogpound.
Could you do a video that shows how to get started journaling? Maybe some ideas about products you use, and how to get started.
Sondra has been thinking about it. We may do something on it in the future. There is a chat group on Big Truck Big Travels Facebook group that is a journal chat.
Glad to see Sondra didn’t hurt herself. ❤️❤️
Just her pride... 😆 back is a little sore but she's good. Thanks
Awesome 1 hr video, went by fast. Looks like you had a great time including low cost dental work, great Mexican food and some errands. Safe travels!
Thanks so much! It was a very good, productive week.
USSA, that might be more accurate than we'd like to believe. I enjoyed your video. We got some of that storm here on the central coast of CA. It was so windy that we canceled our plans and stayed home one day. We got lots of rain too.
Sad but true, Phyllis. Not the same country as we remember...hope you came through the storms ok.
Really enjoy you humor in your videos, when you cross over to mx is there paper work or documents needed in an rv. Thx
Yes, you need Mexican auto/RV insurance and depending on your length of stay you may need a FMN form though Mexico is starting to eliminate that requirement for Sonora and Baja.
In all Sondra’s calculations, has she accounted for the weight of ALL the note books and journals she has !!??? 😂😂😂
Great video. Safe Travels ❤
😆 Mike, she probably has but won't tell me! Thank you
That was great seeing you guys enjoy your travels into Mexico with no issues. That little town is now on our list to try! Also, wanted to ask what is the model of the drone you use? It looks like one I’m eyeballing…. Thanks for sharing your adventures!❤️~Wendy
Hey, Wendy. Los Algodones is a neat little town in Mexico. It's a DJI Mini4 Pro and I really enjoy it. Thanks for watching.
Great video, enjoyed it. I look forward to each weeks adventures.
Thank you, Steve. Really appreciate your comments. We enjoy sharing our experiences with everyone.
The tacos look and sound so delicious! Great video! Thanks for a long version.
Glad you enjoyed it, Kathy! They were scrumptious!
It's good enough, Mona, to sit and just eat! 😆 It's a cool place, glad you're along on the journey. 😊
Oh my goodness Sondra did you say you might get into a short sleeve T shirt?
I will definitely need to see video on that lol Enjoy your travels 😊
Yes she did... and it hasn't happened yet! But it's going in the video when it does! 😆
That's a great idea, Susan! We saw a papelaria on the upper side of town. Thanks. We'll need to check that out next time across.
Hi Sondra l hope you are ok. I'm Sorry you fell. Jeff and l were watching so Sorry😫🙋♀️🥺
Sondra is doing great. He back was a little sore but feeling fine. Appreciate your thoughts.
That's a deal! May have to check into that! Thanks 😄
What a great video .The food you had looked good .
Thank you 😋 It was so good!
That was simply amazing Thanks❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching the channel. 😁
This was absolutely amazing! Never been to Mexico but feel like I’d like to experience some of your adventures.👍
It's a fun place, Sue. Glad you're along on the journey and can experience this neat town. 😀 Thanks for your time watching the channel. 😃
Overseer as a drone name? I watched this 8 months too late and that sketchy drone probably has a name by now. I just found your channel and am catching up with your channel erratically as uTube throws it out for me. It’s been fun. Thank you both.
Thanks. You can subscribe but we named it Ingenuity. I also like Overseer.
Keep safe!
Thanks, KB, we're hoping we get some nice days in Palm Springs. Except for a few days of rain and cooler temps we've had a lot of 🌞.
Well, if you haven't been already, check out the new Agua Caliente Museum in PS. $5 for Seniors/$10 for Adults. @@bigtruckbigtravels
Love watching all your adventures. Looking forward to hearing about what you picked for your drone name. Safe travels to you both. 🥰🫶🏼
Thank you, Joyce. Wow! So many great suggestions. We're going to have to review them and choose shortly.
It's funny, Kris that several of the vendors will say "almost free". We joke about it all the time. Lots of fun. 😊
Great to see you opening the car door for Sandra. I find the jokes funny. The drone should be called Reckon
Thanks, Troy. Hmmm... sounds too close to "wreck-on"... that's actually pretty funny 😁!
@@bigtruckbigtravels I meant Recon for the drones name
I noticed your “Don’t Mess With Texas” t-shirt. I wondered if you got any comments as you walked around Mexico. Good to see all the Boondocking opportunities.
The only comment on the shirt was a fellow Texan who asked where we were from. Everyone is very pleasant over there and super friendly. Always a great experience.
Do you get your Co2 tank liquid filled ? Will last forever liquid filled
@@Ned-p1y I just take it to a company to refill beverage grade c02. I haven't asked about liquid filled.
Really enjoyed this video ❤ thanks for sharing the journey.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 😊
Thanks for sharing 😊😊😊
Thanks for watching!
@@bigtruckbigtravels October may still be warm for campfire. Except for Sondra. Lol.
@@bigtruckbigtravels thanks for the help on southern CA!
