- We leave the Pads in Death Valley National Park and Lake Manly behind as we travel scenic Highway 160 to Las Vegas. Why not? We haven't traveled it before and seems like a good road.
Our tandem drive axles are really nice so Matt's Off Road Recovery will not be needed in the foreseeable future. Whew!
Headed to Las Vegas is a big gamble because Thousand Trails Las Vegas RV Resort is tight, very tight. Will we fit?
We plan to do something stupid...but if it works out then it will be a very cool and EPIC adventure. We'll find out!
We enjoy the Las Vegas strip for good food, entertaining shows and a vibe/energy which is so unique to this city.
We've come out West to enjoy a nice warm winter season and to experience some first time activities for us. Who knows where the road leads? It's exciting to be able to live this lifestyle so no complaints here.
We are not Snow Birds as we are always traveling nearly every week but we do like nice warm weather and heading west is the best.
We will raise our solar panels and brush them off to power our stay and experience these epic treasures of Mother Nature as we venture on.

RV Camping
We like to "Switch it Up" between resorts and campgrounds and boondocking is always an option.
We draw inspiration from Keep Your Daydream KYD, Less Junk More Journey, Finding Our Someday and Changing Lanes. We normally travel in an HDT similar to TH-cam channels Suite Travels and Watts on Wheels. I also get some ideas from the editing style of Happily Ever Hanks (Happilyeverhanks) #thankshanks and believe it or not, I actually learned something from MRBeast Mr Beast video's as well.
Our journey is the destination. We want to share in our experiences in our discovery of What's Next.

We use the TSD card for diesel fuel and save a bundle each time we fill up our Big Rig. We also use it to fill up our Onan generator.

Our Class C is built by Thor Motorcoach on a Ford F550 chassis. It's a production build Magnitude model XG32. We tow our red Jeep Wrangler Sahara behind it. We've made some modifications to it so that we can boondock comfortably. Lithium batteries, Victron 3000w multi-plus inverter, dual alternators charge while traveling and mods to the water system greatly enhance it's boondocking capabilities.
Our extreme completely custom 5th wheel is built on a semi-trailer chassis with air suspension and air brakes. Completely loaded it weighs 42,000 lbs rolling down the highway. And we do roll down the highway nearly every week. You see, we believe that if your home has wheels they should be used.

It's pretty funny. Way back... we had every intention of getting a mattress but couldn't find one we liked and ran out of time. Did this as a stop gap... but really like it. Actually it's super comfy with the foam topper.
If you guys ever travel through central Utah on I-15, please stay at my daughter's RV park in Nephi, Utah. It's called Rollin' Home RV Park and the sites are large and clean. Her name is Kalli and she would love to have you! She has a great little restaurant on site as well. We love watching your TH-cam channel!

Did you visit old Vegas on Fremont Street? Look at the ceiling as you walk down the street. Visuals are amazing. You can also zip line down Fremont Street.
We've been there on a previous visit and enjoyed the lights. It's gotten a little "rough" in that section of town so we stayed in the Strip.
Been there done that with an HDT. Downsizing to a smaller rig sure made sense and a lot less stressful travel for us. A 35 foot class A motorhome pulling our SMART 453 makes our life much much easier. Would never go back to being 65’ long.

Curiosity is getting the best of me. Do you actually scrapbook and the truest sense of the fashion, bullet journal, or art journal. Or are you doing all three. You have so much material I can't imagine deciding what to use and what not to use and and how you have enough room to carry it all. I'm living vicariously through your travels and loving every minute of it take care and safe travels.
Sondra does a combination of all 3. She uses the motif for each week based on where we are going and decorates from there. She does a lot of tracking in it as well. Thanks 😄
When visiting Las Vegas, I recommend the Sign Museum and Mob Museum. Both are awesome.

So looked like there was a major meltdown when first peaking at TT\ Las Vegas. All I saw was Sandra was out of the truck upon entering. and we didn’t see anything else until the next day. Especially learning they had to find a space for the truck to park too! I bet somebody blew a few gaskets!
😆 🤣 actually, there wasn't any more video because it went really smooth. I drove around the block and pulled in to the site. We thought it might be tricky but we got lucky. I didn't want to put too much boring footage of just driving in to the site. Thanks

Hubby and I have lived in our 42' Montana Legacy 5th wheel since 2017. We travel for 6 to 8 weeks at a time. When we're not traveling we are blessed to have a home base on our daughter's property. We are here in Vegas ending a two week stay -We stay at Sam’s Town KOA on the Boulder HWY -we had an HDT right next to us with smart car and a Full House 5th wheel-We had to move to the Oasis RV Resort and drove our Class A through the strip -However, we were TERRIFIED 🤣 We made it but didn’t enjoy that drive like you did 😂-Nice job ⭐️🚌🇺🇸🎉

We enjoy Vegas...and getting into 1K Trails is always a challenge...but we made it! Woohoo! Whew! Everything about this trip was "close calls".
I’m sure the inflatable mattress you guys use is comfy and all, but down south we use those to go floating down the river. Great video and even better driving. I am sad, however, that there wasn’t more “sticker store” coverage…😂

Agree about Vegas. I don’t drink smoke or gamble either. But I have to admit when forced to be there, there is an energy that exists. It is in the air.
I like you, enjoy the beautiful restaurants and then seeing a show at night. The last visit I was there for a week for a wedding. Every night a dinner was planned and hosted for 60. So it was quite fun, with show tickets for every other night. All hosted. It was a small group of us from all over the US. But I have never been to a week long party like that in my life. All I paid for was hotel and plane ride. So quite the week! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I’m not a huge Vegas person don’t like to gamble much or drink much that is kind of fun seeing the hotels and all the action and maybe a show or two. The summertime is the worst, so crowded & Hot. The spring and fall. Great now. want to go out and visit again lol

Thanks. It's comfy with the foam topper... so it kind of blows us away as well when we think about it. Vegas, baby is fun but can be overwhelming and sooo much sensory input!

Another home run video! My least favorite area to drive thru Vegas always a lot of traffic! Enjoyed your visit in Vegas, learned lots of new things. We tried sleeping on one of those air mattresses when our water bed mattress sprung a leak, nope not comfy for us, but glad it works for you. Really enjoy ALL your videos! Hope to meet on the road one day, we've been fulltime since 2015....getting ready to depart Yuma and spend the summer in Helper, Utah. Safe travels.
