Just made this for lunch. I used half the cayenne pepper. I used pesto instead of tomato sauce. It was very good! I would probably cut the cayenne a little more. I like to taste all the flavors without the heat overpowering everything. Yum!
she used Korean chilli .. dont know what that is but cayenne would be extra, she also used paprika.. which is not hot..Cayenne has a different heat than chilli and is bitter hot.. im a lover of chilli (enjoy small whole chilli or 1-2 sliced just to myself- love a hot chilli pikled right from the jar..) and would not use that much cayenne.

I made this twice my family loves it. I use a processor for less prep time. I don't have chickpea flour, so I use all-purpose flour, which requires more to maintain shape. Chicken peas flour is probably better. Thank you for sharing. Love to watch prep.

May I offer a humble suggestion I prefer to use fresh chickpeas which I soak overnight for about twelve hours before cooking and I add a 1/4 tsp.baking soda.

I just made this. I substituted almond flour. The texture wasn't bad but I think a little drier would be good. It was hard to flip and slide out of pan without it breaking up a little. Any advice??? I added broccoli and tumeric spice as well. Very flavorful.
Hello! I would of course recommend using less liquid to ensure the mixture isnt too wet - add accordingly and gradually to make sure the texture doesn't become too sloppy. I think almond flour is much denser than most flours, so perhaps add more of whatever substitute you are using☺️🥰❤️
Just made this for the second time and it was even better than the first time!! Love it, other than subbing the tomato sauce for my fave pesto, I followed recipe exactly as written. Thanks for a wonderful different taste profile, so different than most of the recipes I see here in the US. Not that our food is bad, it's just different :)

Using a high powered blender blend the chickpeas for about2 minutes until fine and the consistency of flour. Sieve the chickpea flour to remove any lumps.You can store your home made chickpea flour in a labeled airtight container for 8 weeks or even in the fridge. The recipe doesn’t use paprika. :) The red spice you see is Korean chilli flakes. If you can’t have any peppers, I think some cumin could work for flavouring.

Many thanks for this recipe!💖 I made this today - worked well but I realised that the video didn't show adding the mashed chickpeas to the grated sweet potato mix! As I was following the video, I didn't put mine in either!! Still tasted great - I used basil pesto. I think this Ould be quite delicious and easier if you dont do the roasted bit as well.. and just top it like a reglula pizza with mushroom, (pineapple) onion olive and capsicum. spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, corn are some other options.

It is possible to use wheat or corn flour as well because sometimes it is not easy to find chick pea flour in nearest supermarkets 😊

I think this Ould be quite delicious and easier if you dont do the roasted bit as well.. and just top it like a reglula pizza with mushroom, (pineapple) onion olive and capsicum. spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, corn are some other options.
