- 1 can chickpeas and 2 zucchini! I make it in summer every week! It’s very delicious and everyone asks to make it again! Easy chickpea recipe which makes a complete vegan meal! Best way to cook chickpeas! This is a high protein recipe which tastes better than meat. Everyone will be delighted with its taste! Learn the new way how to cook chickpeas! 🥣 Ingredients:
15oz | 400g cooked chickpeas
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
50g | 6pcs dried apricots
50g | 1/3 cup walnuts
75g | 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1tsp cumin seeds
1/2tsp paprika
1tsp dried herbs
1tbsp soy sauce
🥣 zucchini spaghetti ingredients:
2 zucchini
1oz | 30g dairy-free butter
1 minced garlic clove

❗Feel free to add your favourite herbs and spices to to get the flavour you enjoy the most.
❗You can substitute chickpeas for Butter Beans, Cannellini Beans, Red Kidney Beans or any other beans you enjoy.

Aloha Lancy and Lancy's mum. Those sautéed zucchini looked so inviting. YUM. Haven't had zucchini in awhile. The apricots and walnuts are two things I'd never eat in food. I'm a bit odd in that I only like nuts and fruits in their nature state and eaten alone. Never cooked in food. Wishing you and fam a great day.

What mix of herbs did you use? How did you make the tahini sauce in this recipe?
the herb mix is dried rosemary, thyme, garlic, sage - something similar to an italian herb mix. To make tahini sauce mix 1/3 cup tahini with some water to create the desired consistency then add half or whole chopped clove of garlic (to your taste), a bit of lemon juice, cumin (optional but makes it even better) and salt to taste.
@@WeCookVegan Thanks! I made a similar sauce before but instead of a clove of garlic I put the juice from several cloves without the flesh.

Lovely recipe! I will try it for sure! The only thing that is bordering me is the margarin full of trans fats, but it is easy to change!

That wasn't margarine, it was vegan butter. Most vegan butter has no trans fat. It does have saturated fat but you're right-your favorite liquid oil would do.
It depends on where you live, but trans fat has been banned in food in the EU for years, so your margarine should be safe.

Love your recipes! Why use oil spray? Wastes a container and has a emollient that is undesirable. I use a brush.

Thank you for this recipe. Since unfermented soy, including organic, in any form, is toxic/unhealthy, I will substitute the soy sauce with organic coconut aminos, a healthy alternative, and look forward to enjoying these chickpea "meat"balls. 🌱💚

the zucchini is in the pan with the balls, and i would say its slightly similar to falafel!

because they are the primary ingredients. I can guarantee if i simply used chickpeas and zucchini you would leave a comment calling it bland. This is a quick and easy recipe that is very filling. let me know if you try xx
