You generally don't want to touch the nail if you can avoid it, but those quick taps on the nail to press the foil down won't interfere with the adhesion of the top since it isn't removing any of the tacky surface.
(Side Note:) I’ve clearly watched too many “nail challenge” videos-because I momentarily thought you were going to literally *incapsulate cocoa powder* into the design!…I worry about myself sometimes.🤣
Great…now I need to ransack the break room and hope I still have a can of hot cocoa in there.😋 Other than making me crave the delicious beverage, this is a stunning set of nails-I absolutely adore them!!❤️
I absolutely love these fall nails especially the swirly ones. I noticed you no longer carry that Phenomenal color used on this video? what would be the closest to that replacement color you do carry? the same with that crypto glitter? what would be the closest to that glitter as well?
I would say Warm & Fuzzies or Clutch for the polish. Fortune is close to crypto if you want a small cut glitter and Artist Table if you want a big cut glitter.

I don't like not knowing in advance how much a service is going to cost. Would you be offended by a client requesting for instance a pink look that doesn't go over 65$?
As a nail tech I would appreciate it if a client came to me and said she wanted a pink design but had a price point to stay within. I think that’s totally reasonable and something I’d love to hear from my Clients. The last thing I want is for my clients to feel like they can’t afford me. So if they give me a budget then I know immediately a ton of designs I can make them so they leave happy
As a gel manicure on the natural nails it would be $75. If you were to do this on top of enhancements like a set of acrylic or hand gel, you would take your base price and add on top of it $5 for glitter, $10 for the 2 additional gel polish colors, $5 for the gold foil and $5 for technique for and extra total of $20 if you were to price those extras like Karen does. You can decide what those extras would be for you based on what your pricing is in your location but you should definitely charge for them 😊
