I really like the scooter, however, they are capped at 25 kph (here in the UK). Which is far too slow for me. Especially when my ETWOW GT Sport does 30 mph... Although I'm quite happy at speeds of 12 - 14 mph, I do like to have the power, just in case those kids on push bikes try to overtake !
Do you need to swipe a key or anything to start?? What stops someone just turning it off and riding away? just curious. Great review so far...only 1 min in (yeah should wait til end before asking questions lol)
You can set the 4 digit passcode to start the e scooter. The manual tells how to do that. We need the segway app for 1 time If I recall correctly. To start the e scooter, we simply need to put each number followed by pressing of break each time and done!
Hello! Would you recommend this scooter to someone who is a total newbie to scooters and can't ride a bike? Also, is it good for cities with a lot of uneven and bumpy roads?
Honestly right now it's a really good buy considering Segway is SUPER durable and reliable. I think its a great start. Plus it has suspension, so it'll probably do a good job of handling those bumps and stuff like that. On Amazon it's $799 so I'd honestly get it.
@JumperBloX Thanks! How do you feel about it for beginners? I can't really keep my balance so I never really learned how to ride a bike. But I have tried a scooter before just once or twice and I manage to stay on it for around 5 seconds. So I have a feeling maybe I would be able to learn how to ride it.
You can start off in Eco mode until you feel comfortable balancing. It's pretty easy to get the hang of with enough experience, it'll just click. It's relatively easy to learn, trust me on that.
beast of a review bro just got mine yesterday
Me too! 799 at Best Buy
what about the range test?
I've had my MAX G2 for 8 months. It's been an awesome ride for my commute to work (22kms daily). My only con is the headlight could be brighter.
The headlight is incredibly helpful. There's a stretch of darkness I often ride through, and I wish I could angle it upward a bit more.
Does it still work and how much km have been riding in totaal
@@kebayattara705 It works great! I'm at 313.1 KMs on it now. Riding it every other day, sometimes even through rain.
No
19:05. Don't most scooters have pneumatic tires?
Most but not all. Evolv stride is one that comes to mind that’s sold with airless. Also, this one has the self-healing feature!
No, solid rubber is the norm.
Excellent review !! maybe app review can you make ?????????? with tips with about best configurations
The price please in us $? Thank you
Best Buy has them right now for $800 US . I just bought one a few days ago.

You can only lock it with the app or buy a lock. Most ppl just carry it unlike an ebike.

Australia version high speed only 25km. 😢
Oh that sucks.. 25 km/h isn't enough for experienced riders..
There is a way to change that..
Thanks
