  • Join us as we EXPLORE BUDAPEST! We start our day at MATTHIAS CHURCH & FISHERMAN'S BASTION. We get lunch at the GREAT MARKET HALL & in the evening we go to the BALLET at the HUNGARIAN STATE OPERA!
On this episode of Mapping It, we spend a day EXPLORING BUDAPEST! We hop on the metro and visit MATTHIAS CHURCH. After enjoying the views at FISHERMAN'S BASTION, we head to the CENTRAL MARKET HALL for lunch and TRY DELICIOUS HUNGARIAN FOOD (and some less-delicious Unicum). Back at our Airbnb, we EAT HUNGARIAN DESSERTS. In the evening, we dress up and head to the HUNGARIAN STATE OPERA HOUSE to go to THE BALLET IN BUDAPEST! It's A GREAT DAY IN BUDAPEST!
We hope you enjoy coming along on our adventures!

The Ballet looks so beautiful. Did you see the Nutcracker? Winter trips to Europe can be more magical and fun than summer I think. I am hoping to plan one for next winter. Love your videos

We absolutely agree, winter in Europe is an excellent vibe! The ballet was fantastic, we highly recommend visiting if you get an opportunity. We saw the Nutcracker, it's so fun and festive! Thanks for watching!

Travelling to Budapest next week for the first time (were from Scotland), came across your vlogs and they’re definitely some of the best we’ve watched! Happy travels, have a lovely time in Europe! X

If you end up walking the Christmas markets, keep an eye out for a gingerbread cookie stall where a portly man with a huge mustache and a tophat is selling. They are one of the best in the country!

@@MappingIt Oooh, more Budapest stuff, I always love watching travel vlogs about it, fun to see how people react to it, living here is so much different from tourist perspectives.

Hey, loved your videos abt Budapest.
Funfact abt Dobos torta. Its maker was called József C. Dobos. He invented - well his apprentice, who by mistake put sugar into the butter i/o salt - the butter cream revolutionazing the confectionary at that time.
Oh and if I am not mistaken the one you did not mention is called mézes krémes. Literal translation honey creamy cake.
