Very interesting solution! As a fan of touchscreen monitors (i.e. non-tablets) in my own setup, I didn't think that GameGlass was compatible with secondary monitors in a Windows setup. Has that change recently?
This limitation was part of the reason I decided to go down the road of adding Elgato Stream Decks and other button boxes to my setup for other games while still using Helios for DCS.

Been following your channel for months and I have watched and liked them. Left a few comments here and there. Love your setups and iterative approach to 'perfecting' it. Have twin four year old girls who watch your videos with me and love to watch me gaming, too. Hehe I am in the planning stages for my own simpit/work setup. (And two simpler smaller simpits for them, when the twinlings get older and want to play). Hoping I win this, as I would love to be able to add that small touchscreen to my current (and future setup). In response to your feedback request, my own plans involve measuring both of my arm's reach and building everything based on those two inner hemispheres - so I can work everything without having to lean forward. Not sure if everything is arranged that way or not in your current setup. Thanks for the great content and keep being awesome!

This looks incredible but that 15.6" tablet, is that a Fire tablet as well? How is the performance? I've tried gameglass with 8th gen Ipads but that was incredibly slow. What im running now is basicly monstertech mounts with Streamdecks, but i would consider switching to gameglass if the response times were fast. Especially in PvP and using the power triangle, it needs to be fast response.

That's actually a basic PC touch screen, connected to another PC (I use it for OBS etc) and using it through browser.
Not sure about the response times. I'd never bind anything I need in combat to anything else than my joystics. E.g. Power triangle is below my right hand thumb castle switch.

Gameglass is the best use case for old tablets 🤣. Would be cool to be able to program macros into them too.

I think you should be able to so some simple macros with the Forge? At least keypresses, delays etc.

I would build a cockpit like this but I might have a hard time seeing it in my VR headset. 😅

Yeah, that's the reason I don't use VR myself. :D

Could you post links in your description of some of the more interesting materials and things you used like the carbon fibre tape :) , to answer your question - yes you are completely insane. But we like insane.
