Great review! My Project Rock headphones just broke and I’ve always heard good things about Beats. Your ANC test blew my mind. Good job!
I just bought mine, at the beginning I was a little bit disappointed with the fit, but after a couple of minutes they adjusted to my ears, and once that I turned the ANC, wow, I haven't hear music like that, it blocked away all the noises and did not have the hiss from Bose or Sony, thanks for your review

I’ve had all generations and I love them. The 2’s seem to get loose at the gym so I have to adjust a few times.
Play good sound and keep noise out.

yes i recommend getting these over the new studio pro louder and they actually cancel out the noise was dissapointed took mine back there on sale right now i’m prob gonna double up because seems like there declining with time every upgrade each years seem to have gotten worse

I get the beats studio 3 for my flight journey because my ear hurt when I'm in plane but after putting headset it not hurt and i have good experience with beats 3 especially with noise cancelations

@@greengoblin9739Me too. I’ve just broken my Sennheiser headphones and I haven’t even had them for a year! 😟 I have no idea how they would compare to a this brand because there are no music stores in the uk that allow you to test headphones.
I can remember when all the music stores used to have a wall of headphones that you could test before you bought, but not now. I’ve wasted so much money on buying headphones that are uncomfortable and/or just don’t sound good. I’m lost without being able to go about my business using public transport and spending time in crawling the walls with boredom in hospital beds without being able to hear music. Can anyone tell me if this brand is good for music lovers?

$170 is a great deal for these.
I just bought 2 pair at costco for $100 each on clearance. Show $170 online, but in the store I was at had them for $100. Was thinking of going back and buying 20 or so to sale for $150

I have had my beats studio threes for over 5 years now and I use them every day because I am partially deaf. So I actually need them just to use my phone and to really hear anything. I have used them so much that I actually had to replace the foam ear cups. And I’m not nice to these things either i beat them up. And the only reason I’m even thinking about getting a new pair is because the plastic on the inside of the right ear has finally cracked or I think it’s not going to hold on to the metal band anymore. In other words, I used them so much it took oxidation to destroy them. And I’ve never had a problem with charging them so I don’t know what he’s talking about with the micro USB with that said, I really wish that they would give them an update with a USB-C..

If you have iPhone hold the volume control for your beats in the Notification Center that’s next to the screen brightness bar and you’ll see noise cancellation

Big difference here is Studio 3 is Over-ear and Solo is On-ear. I would pick Over-ear.
Is there a setting to make them sound as good as my £15 jlab earbuds?

Barking noise is tough for any ANC headphones because it's not constant. These won't block those out but do minimize them.

They will soon be on sale for 99$ for black friday, are they wirth getting for someone who wanna use them mostly at the gym but also as a everyday use headphone?
I do see a lot of people at the gym wtih them. Over the ears for me doesn't work well at the gym because when I laydown to bench press it falls off my head so I tend to lean towards in-ear headphones.
Good demo thank you be great if you could do a comparison to see which headphones can best eliminate barking dog noise??? there are a lot of children and people that have issues serious issues with dog barking from their neighbours just a point might be helpful! I'll look out for your vids.

evo have more bass becose off sensory bass and low volume but beats have more volume and have nice bass

Same thought it was my phone muffled distortion
It’s not the headphones, it’s the testing apparatus…I have these Beats & they do not distort..even at high volume. Also depends on the quality of the source being played. Hope this helps.

I dont know about JBL but I does cover my entire ear which give it a good seal.
