There's no way to get hard plastic to feel comfortable. I've sat in wooden chairs similar to this and the wood has a natural spring to it; making the wooden chairs so much more flexible and comfortable. I like how they stack.

Hmm, I had to rewatch the video a couple of times to figure out but what we see drilled out of the aluminum block isn't the chair but rather the Deep drawing mold because the chair itself is out of plastic, you can hear the sound of plastic scraping on each other when he stacks them. The chairs get deep drawn by a press from one single piece of plastic sheet, that makes it look so smooth without any injection points.
It stacks horizontally. Many many chairs stack vertically. If for some reason you want horizontal stacking, use a folding chair. This is only about looks. The stacking does not matter.
I swear designers and artists have just that special kind of taste. I wouldn't put these chairs in my house but the idea process behind it is kinda cool.
Would probably cool in a café with a retro sci-fy theme or just any café to give it some personality. Would also be kind of cool to see a chair for children in that same style.
Honestly, to me the chair also unintentionally has a great storage space underneath well. It also provides support for the chair. It also looks like you could store, stuff underneath it
I’m sitting on a 500 dollar chair now too and I own an 1100 dollar chair so I’m a spender. Mine recline have arm rests padded ergonomic ventilated everything they roll and adjust a dozen different ways, but they’re not made out of plastic and they don’t stack. So these five hundred dollar chairs beat mine there. They also look like they’d clean better with a hose and bucket. Two points.
