Absolutely adore your story telling, editing, and cinematography skills ❤ you bring our home much joy and inspiration for our projects around the homestead/landscape
The first sign that winter is coming to a close.. they’re such a welcome sight to see 🥰 Hawaii.. would LOVE to visit there one day!! You might not have bulbs but you’ve got other glorious flowers we couldn’t even dream of here in England
Just discovered your channel and I love it! I absolutely love the beauty of the UK 🇬🇧 and try to visit every couple years. You are so blessed being able to live in such a place of beauty 🌹 Thank you for sharing it with us here.
Simply wonderful to watch , your eye seems to pick up exactly whatI we would like to see in closer detail. Loved everything you showed us , from the delicate early blooms of spring to that stunning hall, so beautifully and thoughtfully presented that it feels almost lived in and breathing. I thought I would share with you my own magical squirrel encounter : last autumn I was cycling back home on the path leading to North Lodge in Kedleston park, when I was made to break suddenly by a long family of squirrels crossing the path in a row before scampering up the trees, Treasured moment…
Pleased you enjoyed it 🥰 Comments like this are such an encouragement. I really try to share videos that are transportive and bring you with me as much as I’d possible so I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the details I’ve included! Oh what a moment that must have been! 🥹 I would love to have seen that. Thank you for sharing it with me.
Thank you for such beautiful vlogs. You are so calm and watching your videos is relaxing. You looked amazing doing the photos with the hat at the beginning.
Thank you for such a lovely, kind comment 🥰🙏 Reading that has put a smile on my face. I’m happy I could bring a little peace & calm from my corner of the world to yours ❤️
I adore Baddesley, such a wealth of history ❤️ I’ll be returning in a few months time to share the grounds in spring so it will make another appearance here ☺️ Ooh North Carolina! I might be visiting there this year on a road trip down through Charleston and Savannah and into Florida 🤞
Loved the photo shoot at the start. I was at Calke only yesterday and had a wonderful time even though it was heaving with visitors. Did a behind the scenes tour of some of the house including rooms that aren't usually open to the public. Been to Baddesley Clinton but it was a while ago and you brought back some memories. Great video as always.
Haha thought I’d include a little snippet of the behind the scenes 😂 Always feel silly going back and forwards but you need the movement for the end photo, figured I’d share a little tid bit of what my process looks like ☺️ Oh you did the tour! I was hoping to book onto one of them but haven’t found a date which works unfortunately. Would love to see some of the out of bounds rooms!!
The flowers are so beautiful! So many too! Loved all the varieties! Baddesley Clinton estate was beautiful! Great historical stories. I can’t believe that gentleman did not correct the Lady to marry her niece and married her instead. It’s a little sad. But very interesting. Thank you for a wonderful video!❤
They were a glorious sight 🥰😍 I never really think of there being that many varieties of snowdrop so it was really lovely to see a selection of them laid out to see and look at closely on the plant theatre. Baddesley is a fantastic house with such a wealth of history and fascinating stories. I’m going back in a few months to share it in spring so it will be making another appearance here. Ha! I know.. that would never happen these days 😂 People who want to get married to each other can’t stay married for more than a few years now, let alone getting married to someone you didn’t want to out of politeness 🤣🙈 I’m glad they got married though as it was all Lady Chatterton’s money that ultimately saved this house. Let me share the happy ending of the story for you… they all lived very happily together at Baddesley. Eventually in 1885 Marmion Ferrers passes away, followed by Lady Chatterton (then aged 69) a year later, leaving Rebecca and Edward to get married after all ❤️
@@theslowtravelsfamily Thanks for your reply! That’s a great ending to that story! It’s nice to hear that their lives were happy even though their plans were different from what they originally wanted. Keep up the great work! Hope you have a lovely weekend! ❤️
Yet another transforming afternoon watching your beautifully presented video. I look forward to spending time learning so much about these stately country manor homes throughout the beautiful English countryside. Thank you for the calm🌺.

We go to The Bulls Head in Repton. The menu is great there and the pizza menu is cooked in a wood fired oven ☺️
Those look like freesias, not daffodils.
Hey there’s some creepy guy in a yellow jacket following you...
