So pleased you enjoyed :) Haha oh yes...Wales sees a lot of rain! This summer has been the driest I've ever known so I'm more than happy to have the autumn rains here 🥰 Not what you want though if you're on your summer holidays though!
Beautifully filmed and intelligently researched , with a peaceful gentle mix of images and voice over. Such a pleasure too , to see such a happy cherished child and her loving parents. A rare treat im the clamouring vlog world.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment 🥰 I'm so glad you enjoyed watching our little adventure. Aww, she brightens up each and every day, such a blessing.
I went to some of these beautiful places many years ago. Harry Potter hadn’t even been written then. I don’t know what it is about England; peacefulness just steeps over me watching these lovely videos of old beautiful places. And those flowers and gardens❤
It's my favourite time of the day to visit, before the village wakes up. You can just sit and enjoy it as it would have looked centuries ago 🥰 No houses built since the 1600's, no tv aerials, no satellite dishes..its heavenly. Hope you've had a happy weekend
A masterpiece of a video! Stunningly picturesque village filmed with the polish required to really bring the serenity and charm into the viewers’ living room. Additionally, from one parent to another - love seeing the beautiful dynamic between you and your daughter in these videos. You have the most adorable girl on TH-cam, I’m sure. Well done!
The British have manors, the French have chateau's and the Italians have villas. Those who were wealthy in past centuries were able to build sturdy and beautiful places that we can admire. There are many more wealthy people today and I doubt that many if any of their pricey homes will still be around in future centuries. Your videos are lovely. It was fun to see the place that some of Harry Potter was filmed.
You know, I had never even given that a passing thought but you're quite right! For all the luxurious homes that have been built over the last 50 years or so, I'm not sure many of them will survive through the centuries to be enjoyed for future generations. Thank you :) It's hard to visit places like these and not feel compelled to share them!
Wow. Incredibly beautiful. Exciting for me because Ella is/was one of my ancestors. Since I live in California, I may never have seen Lacock were it not for this video! Thank you so much.
These places really are magnificent! What a fascinating ancestor to have. I’d love to do a family tree one day! I hope one day you might get to pay a visit here and see some of these places for yourself 🤞😊
What a lovely tour around such gorgeous places! I am visiting Castle Combe & Cotswolds in April. Can't wait to get up at sunrise & explore as you did. Thanks for the introduction!
Ooh how exciting! April is a beautiful time to visit, all the cherry blossom and wild garlic should be out 😍 The woods all around Castle Combe are covered in wild garlic and it smells divine! I highly highly recommend an early start to enjoy the village all to yourself. It has such a peaceful feel to it. Hope you enjoy your trip!
Ooh I hope you do too! They are absolutely incredible - even better in person. There's so much to see, take in and learn about the history of these places 🥰
Lovely video thanks for showing me Castle Combe, its on my list for next year. It was nice seeing Great Chalfield Manor again.Have a lovely time at Clovelly so picturesque.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it 😊 I hope you manage to make it to Castle Combe, it really won’t disappoint! Great Chalfield is always a pleasure, I’ll have to venture indoor next time. Clovelly is amazing!! Have you visited before.
Where do I start? Amazing sound quality. The ambient was clear for us. Then.. the breathtaking roses (WOW!)... Finally the Castle Combe scenes in the morning. Absolutely amazing. Thank you for the video. PS: Great soundtracks... as always.Just made the experience perfect.
I often wonder what kind of jobs and where do the villagers go to that job? 🤔 I’ve seen several of the movies you talked about in this one. Thanks again. Love your videos ❣️🇺🇸
It's all local stone. I think the villagers 600 years ago probably didn't have access to the internet to order 20,000 tons of pink sandstone from India.
Lovely video and great background information. That weather reminds of the times my family went on summer holidays to North Wales, constant drizzle.
