Oh! Thank you so so much 🥰 It really makes me happy to hear that these videos are enjoyed. There is something about the countryside that is very soothing and good for the soul, I try to get outdoors for a walk as often as I possibly can. Having so much beauty on your doorstep, it feels a shame not to! Hope you’re having a wonderful week ❤️
The days are getting longer each and every day now 🥰 It makes me so happy for it still to be light by 5pm! Spring is well and truly on the way slowly. I’m glad you liked the visit to Calke with a few sightings of snowdrops 😍 Oh bless you, thank you Sue! That’s very kind of you. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.
Thank you so much Paul! It’s been a steep learning curve. Very different from photography which is my bread and butter but I’ve been enjoying every minute of creating these videos and learning as I go ☺️
Thank you for such a lovely walk down Memory Lane. I visited Ilam Hall on a day trip way back in 1991 and just loved the idea of living in an English manor house and wandering the grounds, fields and forests. It's just as pretty now as it was then.
So glad you enjoyed this brief wander 🥰 I’m planning a return once the rain has stopped, it’s been non stop at the moment but I’d love to share the full walk through Dovedale to Milldale :) I’m happy to hear you’ve visited Ilam hall yourself. It’s a lovely place for a day trip!
That is an amazing view at the first place! Everything is so green. I am also not a fan of the rain. We are getting a lot here in PA, USA. Congrats on getting your car back. Your grandfather sounds like he was a wonderful artist and historian. Love the flowers! Would love to see the garden videos too! Thanks for this beautiful video!❤
Isn’t it fantastic? I’d love to live somewhere with a view such as that! A girl can dream.. such a picture perfect location. Goodness the rain! We’ve had no end of it, sorry to hear you’ve had the same too. My grandfather was very much into his art, he was a great painter which is why I think Heidi has such a passion for painting too, it’s in the blood - it just bypassed me lol. He was especially good at doing his models. I’ll have to dig some out of the attic some time and share them ☺️ I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far Mary! ❤️
Beautiful video and the music was spot on, you deserve way more subscribers for highlighting the beauty of our wonderful country, well done! p.s have you ever considered adding the option of ‘buy me a coffee’ for people who don’t necessarily want to sign up to patreon and don’t have PayPal but want to say thanks for the content, not sure how difficult it is to implement
I'll be making my second visit of the year to Calke tomorrow so will keep a look out for what signs of Spring I can see. We are so lucky here in Derbyshire to have so many beautiful properties to visit and I really enjoy your videos.
Oh wonderful! Keep me posted if there’s anything new but you can expect the odd clump of snowdrops and a daffodil or two as over Sunday 🥰 We really are, we have so many great places on our doorstep! Enjoy your visit to Calke ❤️
Thank you so much Leanne 🥰🙏 Your wonderfully kind comment is very much appreciated! Creating these videos has been a steep learning curve and incredibly time consuming so that makes me so happy to hear ❤️ Hope you’re having a lovely week xxx
I absolutely loved this video , not just because of the beautiful settings you take us through, which happen to be some of my favourite walking haunts, but above all, because you have a similar way to mine of noticing things and really feel like a familiar friend taking me along whilst chatting away…
Such a gorgeous corner of Derbyshire, I’m glad you’re familiar with this area and enjoy it as much as I do ☺️ That makes me so happy to hear! A virtual friend 🥰
Oh is it?! The address is Ilam Hall, Ilam, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 2AZ so I assumed that was Derbyshire 😂 Either way, a lovely place and thank you for taking the time to watch this video, glad you enjoyed it ☺️ Have a lovely week ahead.
I love your videos because they are so peaceful & there are interesting bits of history. The mystery plant is abutilon, also called “flowering maple.”
I believe your red flower is the flowering maple plant, looks like it. Thanks for the walking tour today.
I’ve just googled and it definitely looks it! Thank you 🥰🙏
Flowering Maple also goes by the name Abutilon

Actually, Ilam is in Staffordshire, not Derbyshire. Good video all the same.
