VW TRANSPORTER T5 COLOUR CHANGE Vw restoration

Here we have my 2004 Volkswagen Transporter T5. Where do I start with this vehicle! It's only had one previous keeper and only 78000 miles yet looks like it has done a few rallies and been to the moon and back several times! Always wanted a T5 and this one came up quite cheap (no guessing why) so took it home to try save it. Only problem I've really had with it was a blown turbo, new turbo and remap later and it's now around 196bhp! and pulls extremely well, again I must add we are not professionals at these things, these are hobby projects, also think it's good not having everything head out to the breakers yard and some actually being given a new life.

It was a builders van from new and worked all its days, quite hard by looks of it here. Surprisingly it’s a great runner and has came in handy rebuilding the Scania, hopefully it last a few years yet.

Hi Donna, thank you, I had a friend do the painting I just prepared the van, probably couldn’t take it on just now with other projects going on. Have you tried to get anyone more local to Falkirk? I can always ask the lad who done the job for you. He is Aberdeenshire based though.

@donnainglis, There is a quite some work involved with a complete colour change, due to my job I only get to work in these things at weekends unfortunately. I will speak with the painter today and ask him for you, never know he might be interested.
