I love Bar Keeper Friend soft cleaner works to everything cleaning. Also, in oven work well. And shower glass too, woodburning stove glass and lots more.
You are amazing!!! I tried this cleaning tip today, I happen to have the original formula in liquid. OMG!!! my stovetop looks brand new. my grates are cast iron, so didn't do much for them, but the rest Wow!!! I wish I could post a picture.
If your oven has self cleaning mode, put all your loose parts in the oven, then run the self clean mode. When the cycle is done, run them through the dish washer if you have one. Call me lazy 😆 🤣 😂
Thank you for sharing! You and your daughter did a great job! Happy Holidays! Beautiful family! Peace & Love! (I was thinking the same thing when you were finished! Now no one can cook here again! 😆
White vinegar spray. Cover sprayed burners with sprinkled baking powder, then wrap in clingfilm. Allow to soak for an hour. Once soaked, scrub burners with a plastic scourer.and an old toothbrush for crevices. Then rinse under warm water. Brand new again.. This works on grates too.
I just cleaned my stove top for the first time in months now. We have not used it for a while except for making soup. I just know that we probably have all kinds of bacteria in our food but I am still alive so I guess we are good. So after every use we are going to wipe it down with some apple cider vinegar to keep the grease off of it. It looks so much better then it did. Still not done yet though.
I have the glass cook top stove for 5 years; I use WEIMAN Glass Cook Top cleaner and polishing, it works fantastic! My stove looks bran new, even after all of this time. For the stainless steel part of the stove and the refrigerator, I use WEIMAN Stainless Steel Wipes. This brand is amazing! Hope you give it a try.
I use the Bar Keepers Liquid and it works same! Then, after polishing with stainless steel polish on stovetop I dry my burners and the caps with same polish cloth. They look brand new! My grates I soak in sink with Dawn Platinum dish soap. And do same using stainless polish to dry. They look new each time! Key: clean it everytime you cook.! If you leave it for even a day or two it’s more scrubbing and soaking., and more time consuming overall.
I live in an apartment and my stove is just like your but white 😑 and I've tried all kinds of stuff to get the burners and stuff clean!! I'm definitely gonna try this!!! Thank you so much for this video!!
What I do is I turn on all the burners in low for 30 minutes and they're clean. Everything that's stuck burns and they're clean. I don't know if I'm doing well but that's how I clean them.
Omg thank you for this!! I have a new house and for the first time have a gas stove and didn’t know how to clean it! How do you partner up with barkeeper’s friend? I LOVE their products and would love to be an ambassador for them too! Thanks!
For anyone wondering if yours is screwed on. It's only held on by 2 screws on top. Just unscrew them and they come right off might have to use WD-40 since they are dirty.
What about underneath that metal black cover you just wiped & clean? Is there a way to clean that area since it's tough because of the gas tubing that run through there?
It will depend on your stove. I could not figure out how to lift mine up like I used to do with my electric stoves. You will need to Google your specific stove and see how to lift it up.
2:00 Fiberglass stove top cleaner just has less harsher degreaser in it, & won't bother a counter. The reason why they make it is because cleaning products usualy have stuff in them that will scratch the fiber glass. If you have a metal stove its easier to just use a degreaser, or a steel cleaner. But what your using shouldn't bother your counter because its has lesser contaminants, that can scratch a surface of soft things. However not sure if it actually sanitizes, back when i had such a stove with the fiber glass cleaner it wasn't really to clean it but more to protect it from scratching & burning as easy. Anyways decent vid merci.

I used the Powder version and added a bit of water into a paste. I know it says 1 minute and then wipe up. Well My Fav Larger burner STILL had build up spots around it. So much so that past attempts with even a baking soda paste I had thought I had taken off about a quarter size chunk of that white paint covering to it. .But Nope. I used a white plastic Fork, Spoon and Kinfe after the attempts with the BFK oh and some wooden toothpicks. yes small wooden toothpicks. and took my time. And It is TRULY a Mother's Day Miracle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Stove Flipping Looks just as good as the day we moved in here or BETTER !!!!!! hehehehe because there is no invisible dust on it hahahaha So for those that are still having some issues test a area and uses also the plasticware and toothpicks
This keeper’s stuff does not clean burner caps well....any other suggestions? I don’t know why these burner caps are so freakin hard to clean. Grates are also a pain to clean!
Just a bit of advice from a previous Meat Market employee. If you cook your Roasts, Turkey, Pork, Chicken at 300 degrees for a longer time, they shall retain more juices; in addition to, not making a mess in your Oven.
@@Whatsupfagans can you plz advise how to use powder as i found barkeeper friend cleanser in powder form do I have to sprinkle powder and leave it overnight or do I have to make a paste of powder with water and leave it overnight for the gas stovetop? thnx
@@simrockkaur6889 follow the instructions on the can. I wouldn't leave it over night. Most a few minutes. I spray or get the object wet and then sprinkle with the powder. You can take a wet sponge and then move it around for an even coating and then let it sit for a couple minutes. Then you will scrub it clean. Then rinse with clean water and then dry with a cloth.
This is great. Except that LG and other major companies say not to use any abrasives. I’m very familiar with Bar Keepers Friend. It gets my glassware very clean. It’s mild but still an abrasive.
Probably! I find the powder is the strongest, but the liquid is also very good. If you have it, use it! If it doesn't work perfectly, order some Powder. 👍
Bar Keepers Friend is not very expensive. One can is a like two bucks at Walmart and last a long time. Baking soda is great though too. I find it has to sit longer sometimes to work and leaves more residue behind.
I hope your burners last. When I purchased my gas stove I was instructed to never place your burners in water or allow water to enter the burner. I cringed when I saw you sprinkling the burner with bar keepers friend. The openings on the burner can get clogged leading to getting uneven flame or totally not functioning. Bar Keepers Friend is a great product, but not for this application. Check with your stove manufacturer for best ways to clean your stove.
They said to brush debris from the burner with a toothbrush or use fine wire to make sure the holes weren’t blocked. Other than that leave it alone, unless you wanted a very expensive bill to replace the burner and all other parts beneath the burner. Everyone can make their own choices as to what they can live with. I purchased my stove, didn’t come with the home. It came with cleaners supplied by the manufacturer., that’s why I suggested contacting the manufacturer.
Yeah. I purchased a Thermador gas range, used it for a few days and the burner cap got all the greasy stain. I followed their instruction to use soapy warm water and soft cloth to clean them. Don’t use any abrasive cleaner or brush on them. Turns out it doesn’t remove the grease at all. The stain is still in the cap. So frustrated. I dare not to use aggressive cleaner. They might be cleaned now but get rusted later. Does anyone have any solutions?
@@gordythecat Grates just put in zip lock bags with 1 cup of Ammonia. Let it sit outside in sun for 8 hours and then afterwards grime just washes off with light pressure of sponge and dish soap. Easier to do as don't need to keep scrubbing hard at all.

Soak your grates in ammonia overnight and scrub
Use scouring stick for the stove grates, removes stuck-on food, doesn't scratch.
