Hi, a longtime BMW rider from Tennessee here. Thanks for the great video! I've only been through, maybe I should say across, Vermont 4 times, all on US Route 4. Twice east to west, twice west to east. Was last through there in Sept. '24 on my way back from a BMW rally in Fryeburg, Maine. Love your state and now that I'm retired wanting to do some exploring there. I appreciate your video, definitely want to ride all the way up state 100 and check out Stowe along the way. Thanks again, I'll try to check out your other videos. Richard
Very nice video 😊..my sister lives in new hamshire and she always talks about the beauty of NH, white mountains, smugglers notch etc...I am visiting NH next year so will definitely visit this place. Thanks for the video mate.😊
Excellent video. Thanks 👍. I was born in Springfield and live in Ludlow. It's good to see parts of our beautiful state that I haven't been to yet. I'm 55 and don't get around much anymore. Thanks 👍🙏✌️
Cool. Give me a shout next time and pizza and drinks are on me. I'm staying Covid safe. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos tonight. Stay safe ✌️
We love to go to Stowe and smugglers Notch every year, but since virus scraped many habits, we have to wait. That VonTrapp hotel is something else and has a great view. Thanks for the vid, too bad it doesn't really reflect the reality of how steep are the hills.
We love Stowe as well... we live about an hour away. We like going to the Von Trapp... they have an awesome brewery there. And yes... the ride up Smuggs is very steep and very tight turns around big boulders. It is pretty technical in a big Harley bagger... scrape the floorboards haha
@@pascalmonier4642 haha... i live right off of Rt 17 in Bristol. I have ridden that road many times. It’s called the App Gap. I am pretty sure I have a video of it on my TH-cam channel if I remember correctly
I would love to ski up by your area. I have a friend who lives up there and raves about it. Thanks for the tour and wild to hear about the trucks getting stuck in the rocks.
VR, another great ride and that is an awesome camera view from behind the bike how did you do that? Keep up the great rides and I will continue to enjoy. You are showing me what I want to see when I get a chance to tour New England, about the only part of the country I have not visited.
Thanks. The camera is an INSTA360 One X. It has the ability through its built in software to make the pole holding the camera disappear. Then you can choose what you want your viewers to see through the software as well. It’s pretty amazing technology
I never have but 3 of my cousins have . And have spent time in the main home . My grandmother should have about a half a case on wine given to her from her mom which is a sister to the traps. I look forward to receiving at least one bottle of wine .
I recently downloaded an app you might find interesting. It’s called Peak Finder, and even though it cost $5, I thought it was worthwhile. A park ranger on the Blue Ridge Pkwy here in NC showed it to me, and it shows mt peaks and their elevation. Thanks for posting, ride safe.

Traveled there as a kid.. now I live 10 minutes from it. ;-) Best place on earth.
Yes it is... I was just in Stowe today 👍

Thanks for watching. I love the Ludlow area. Ride motorcycles and snowmobile through that area often

Loved going to smugglers notch as a kid in the seventies, so much exploring and climbing on the boulders and cliffs.
You should come back and visit. It is such a nice area.
Great video . Gonna be doing this ride very soon. Bummed there wasn’t more video…Damn those TT guys
Thanks
so so well done
Thank you
Vermont is so beautiful. It always leaves me breathless.
for sure... I absolutely love it here. Let me know next time you are in the area.
It’s a big country, you should see the rest of it.
Nice! Looking for ideas for a spring/summer motorcycle trip.
Great video
Thank you
I live in Waterbury! Thanks for visiting!
Thanks ! Sorry for the late reply...for some reason TH-cam was not notifying me of comments.
That’s a really nice area. I used to ski there a zillion years ago and would go to Jay Peak as well
Yeah it is beautiful around there. I snowmobile around Jay Peak in the winter. I may take a cruise up that way on the bike soon
very cool.. thanks for that... i miss Vermont.. used to live in Lowell and would love to take drives thru the "Notch"...
Thanks ! I go through Lowell often...on motorcycle, snowmobiles and SxS....beautiful area
Phenomenal video and great commentary :)
Thank you!!
Nice video! Grew up in Stowe and this has to be my favorite scenic ride. Stowe has a ton of routes that would also be incredible if they were paved!
That road through the notch was awesome. We used to ski at Killington. Love the area - thanks for the tour.
Thank you. Love the Killington area too.

@@vermont_rider You should try the Vt-17, it's a killer, too bad the road is so damaged, but it's still the best ride around.

Yeah the skiing up here is pretty awesome. There are about 6 ski areas an hour from me.

Great video...we did that. Crazy how the rock is at the top and you have to veer...how did you do the vid from behind?
Thank you. video from behind is from using a 360 degree camera
Cool vid . The vontrap's are my family.
Wow... that is awesome. Have you been to Von Trapp’s brewery?

Thanks! I will check it out
That 360 cam is awesome... how is it aimed/steered ?
I use the software app to chose where I want it to look after filming
Woot woot !!
Great footage, brings back memories:)
One thing this footage doesn’t show is how *STEEP* SNR is...
Thank you. Yes the notch is very steep, tight and twisty.
Nice - what do you use for audio capture and microphone? audio is great.
Thanks. I use a gopro 6 with a PowerDeWise microphone. I have a dead cat muff on the microphone as well
Very nice bro. How far away is Canada from the top? Stay safe
Thanks. Canada border is an hour north
I like the camera work . Is that the 360 view camera I’ve seen on other videos?
Thanks. Yeah parts are shot on my new 360 camera
Hey, if you get the chance check out rustybagger24 , and Luckys Lair
is it on drone on the shots from behind you or is there another rider?
