Just getting back into riding and live about an hour away from there. Can’t wait to start exploring again. Nice job! Some of those larger water areas would have been to sketchy lol.
I lived in Belvidere for several years, but didnt get into moto until later in life. I've been dying to get back there to take a rip down some of these roads.
I've been out exploring VT's back roads too but this takes the cake so far. You're a good rider dude! I used to work on property out that way...I think the big wet open area was called 'the war zone'...how would you rate Kings hill compared to this. I'll bet at time you were thinking 'I hope i don't have to go back that way!'.
Thank you! Honestly I haven't explored King's Hill nearly as much, but the ride from Waterville Mtn Road over to where it exits near a farm on 108 is a pretty good ride. Not quite as wet. I like to ride down King's Hill rd, into Kings Hill, and out onto Waterville Mtn road, then over to Belvidere Mtn road. That's a solid few hours of riding. The beaver dam area I think you're referring to is The Arena.
I just came across this video and holy crap you’ll never believe this. That is my old bike! I bought it in in ‘17 and owned it through approx ‘21. Sounds like it is still running great!
That's a road? You have got to be kidding! At first I was thinking it would be a piece of cake on my V Strom......but then....more likely need a trials bike! That is nuts!
hey, im going to be around Stowe VT, looking for some good roads and trails for my drz400s, only problem is its not street legal, any idea on some okay stops to ride around there?
This area is ~30 mins from Stowe. Smithville rd in Waterville/Belvidere. Theres an area you can park toward the end where it begins to open up. If you head off to the left, you’ll be heading down Belvidere mtn road and that will bring you out to Bakersfield. In Bakersfield, there’s Kings Hill rd. Head all the way down Kings hill and you’ll connect to a bunch of different wider trails that loop all around the area
You can keep going straight down Smithville rd on the bike and you’ll head through some logging areas and on some rocky spots eventually coming out at an old pond/swamp
It’s set up to be street legal, but I don’t have a plate on it. Depends on the state. Vermont requires headlight, brake lights, turn signals, horn and 1 mirror
@@northeastadv5817 I had a 500 EXC for that reason - to ride the public roads between trail heads. Now a 690 Enduro R, great for longer stretches of public roads between dirt but a bear in the woods in the thick stuff. Well done video my friend 👍🏻
@@northeastadv5817just leave a single track. Do it somewhere secluded, with enough variation to keep it fun and enough open terrain to eliminate the need to weed whack. I have never carved my own trail beyond the woods around my house as a kid but I have ridden on illegally carved dirt bike trails everywhere and anywhere. I may try to make one this summer somewhere along a river or ridge.
You're a very skilled rider!
Great video. I was laughing everytime you came to a puddle. Good stuff!!!!!

Pretty gnarly stuff! Nice riding.
ALL public roads should be that good !!! I might get to enjoy my commute, going to the shops..............😁.
Yup...that's a pretty serious ass road! Great riding! Heading to VT to ride the NEBDR in a few days.

Now that's what I call an offroad.
that was awesome!!! just got back last night from the dirty dog route and was solo on a klr so I wasnt trying that one !! nice job man.
Take the KLR down there! Would be a decent ride from Smithville Rd side.

That’s so funny, yes this is your bike. She is still kicking strong
I drove my sxs down that today. One of the more rugged town roads that i have come across in vt.
I haven't come across anything quite like this other than Kings Hill Rd in Bakersfield
That's a road? You have got to be kidding! At first I was thinking it would be a piece of cake on my V Strom......but then....more likely need a trials bike! That is nuts!
Perfect bike for that road. I would be scared shit on my DR650
Sucker Pond road outside of Bennington is another interesting road...been up a few times
Rumor has it he’s still riding look for the trail’s end
Look fun... I'd hit this on the DRz 👍
Looks like the back roads in WV.

What bike are you riding ?

Is that wide enough for a wrangler? Great content btw
Thanks! Yes it is. I’ve seen Tundras in there.

That’s actually a fucking road? that was like a parkour course lmao
It's a town road, yes
Is that a street legal dirt bike. Very hard to get plate for a two stroke in many states. If so, what state will plate it

Here's where cars and super bikes turned around
and they better keep it that way too
Ohh god damn the socialist war pig people and their race war perverted sex and babys, and damn the communist developers of New Hampshire, too
Any idea if there are some single track trails up there?
No, there isn’t anything. I thought about making some of my own in this area but I think legally it’s too risky, a lot of private land

Fuck yeah!!! Moving to Vermont soon and looking to buy a home in that town! Can’t wait to rip my KTM in that beautiful area!
