Guys thank you so much for this. This had me crying towards the end. I’m 32 and I had great friend of 54 named Mike. Every year in July we would take 1 week off of work and ride our bikes towards a destination. No plan no hotels reserved just a destination. We’d ride and stop whenever we felt tired. Truly a feeling of freedom riding with my best friend. He was so tough it made me feel like I was older than he was sometimes. He passed away in March of this year. The relationship you two have is in incredible and when I watch you guys it brings back memories of the past trips Mike and I took. Thank you so much and I hope these adventures continue for a long time.
Tears to my eyes. My friend who introduced me to riding and rode with me almost 10k together is now shifted to a different state. We barely see each other but I know he's only one call away. I have been contemplating a ride together for good times sake. I guess I clear my schedule and do it. You never know when the time comes for you. Ride while you can!
Get back out on the road man, Mike would want it...rust is not an option. I've lost damned near everyone I used to ride with and the few left, younger than me, apparently have gotten old and afraid of adventure nowadays...
Do you two realize just how Unusual it is for two childhood friends to be friends when grown up and then both working for yhe same company??? You are blessed!
What a beautiful story! I never knew Zach and Ari were childhood friends, and Ari honoring Zach's dad by riding in his old suit, just added to complete the circle❤
Wow, I had no idea Zack and Ari went back THAT far, no wonder they work so great together. It's very rare in a duo that one isn't the main man and the other is a side kick, not the case with Zack and Ari, they are both amazing at what they do and equally as important in the production of the videos. I hope those two never separate, and work together all the way up until retirement. Spectacular episode.
This is the most fun Ive had on youtube for ages. Jeez it brings back some memories from 35 years ago. I used to be a passenger on my dads BSA racing outfit in the CRMC in the UK. My god they were good times. Thanks for sharing guys, you made an old man feel 20 years old again :)
I used to do slalom skateboarding and this reminded me of taking turns at speed. You end up perpendicular a few inches to the ground. A head and then back injury took me out of the sport for the past year and it’s been years since any shops put together a competition nearby to even go to. I’ll probably be feeling the same as you in twenty years haha.
I have to give a lot of credit to the Director of Photography. I am only 15 minutes in and the cinematography is excellent so far, right down to the B-Roll. Great job crew!
Really amazing! Never feels overdone, I can't imagine how they get those on-road shots done so well (perfectly judged balance as well), and the racing footage was absolutely brilliant. Hardly loses out at all to a fully-crewed team filming with tons of cameras all over the place even on the track, unbelievable job!
Ari absolutely selling out on those corners and getting inches off the tarmac and completely horizontal was gold. Genius move to put your arm out to move that center of gravity slightly further out. I can only imagine the toll on the body.
Buy from Revzilla guys. That way we can keep watching more productions like these. Imagine Ari and Zack 10 years from now still making these type of content for us. What an absolute treat. Ever since Revzilla signed these guys, they've been the only motor shop I purchase from online. Had my full ADV kit from them and was able to ride coast to coast (Finally, after years of procrastinating)
This is in the running for my favorite Ari and Zack adventure. Perfect for the holidays with all the nostalgia and Zack's dad experiencing it with them.
Damn i cried man watching this episode , it just hit me on another level , hope i can have someone to share even just a tiny bit of the experience you guys having back there. still one of the best channel i've known
Zack and Ari and crew-Well Done. I've seen you guys grow up as I raced against your dads. This video is amazing. You have done sidecar racing a huge service by making a video showing the coolness of racing rigs. This took me down memory lane and I am thankful- David Wilson Dudes of Hazzard 262
These CTXP short films are about my favorite content right now on TH-cam. Your chemistry is that of people who've been friends their whole lives. And just generally likable people. And the cinematography and editing of these is top notch. What a product someone can be proud of. Can't wait for the next one. ❤️
My phone rotated the screen a couple of times because I was unconsciously leaning into the turns! This was absolutely captivating. You guys never disappoint. Thank you!
The race got my heart racing. I just love how amazing Zack and Ari is at racing. I am lost for words. I have never seen sidecar race before this and I could watch this a thousand times more. Please do more of these Zack and Ari.
Far better production than the vast majority of movies in theaters these days! Great job guys! So glad you were able to make this trip together, with Zach's Dad providing support! How cool is that!!!
Zack and Ari's chemistry is what makes this show so spectacular and the adventures they go on is just the icing on the top. Very similar to how the grand tour/top gear guys' chemistry made that show so awesome. I hope there are many more adventures to come :)
Absolutely, hands down the perfect combination of petrol fuelled nostalgia and friendship. Left me with a warm glow and an urge to check my valve clearances. You guys rock 👊
07:12 that moment when the always in sync Fuel Injection on our modern twin cylinder bikes becomes appreciated. My Dad & I had a similar 1970 R50/5 back in 1980, that suffered "out of sync" challenges. Great days & memories to be sure ! But I'm gonna hug my FI V-Strom 650 this cold morning even more. You guys are fabulous together. God's blessed your friendship & we're glad to see it. Safe travels & laughter !
I love that even after a sound thrashing on the track apart from “sweating” a bit, she still purrs like a kitten as you get back to the pits. The old girls still got it going on!😂❤
The laughs when Zack and Ari made it through the border crossing. I was laughing right along with them! What an awesome experience and huge kudos to the production crew. Just Wow.
This was one of the best if not the best CTXP videos I’ve ever seen boys. Absolutely amazing to watch the two of you learning and growing together as a team. Absolutely incredible watching you guys duke it out with less power but fearless technique. Gotta love it boys, can’t wait to see what’s going on next
This was wicked! Ari's commitment level in the corners was pretty impressive. I'd love to see you guys tackle some type of endurance race at some point.
This is the best video by you guys. Period. Zack and Ari Their childhood Their parents Road trip Racing together Amazing race Lots of overtakes Nostalgia Great direction Loved it. Lived it.
WOW, this is the best video I've ever watched on youtube for the past decade. It isn't even the production quality alone that makes it phenomenal, its Zack and Ari and their freindship that seriously shines through.
Thank you so much for this film Ive been a sidehack fan since the late 70s when I was a kid I attended the first world championship race in America at usgp at Laguna Seca and it was definitely a highlight of all the races I have attended over the years This film was so compelling from start to finish and you guys really had a very impressive race and riding to the track was a big balls move Kudos to you both Thanks again
Those guys are more than brothers, I wish I had a friend to team up and do a quarter of the adventures they have done in their life. Love the videos, you guys are the soul of Revzilla.
In regards to the interested kids on the sidewalk. As somebody who, professionally, is doing something "meaningful" with his life as far as responsibility, etc... I can whole heartedly say you guys live a life full of far more fun, adventure, and enjoyment than I do.
So my youngest son said Dad you gotta watch the episode with the side cars ! ..and I was glad I did..it was epic and awesome ! Next time some 100 octane to help you in the straits ok guys !?
Wow what a fantastic episode. I get sad that there's so much time in between CTXP episodes, but the wait is COMPLETELY worth it! Thank you guys for making so much great content. Even got a little emotional knowing all the nostalgic ties between these two guys, and having Zack's Dad involved too. My favorite episode so far, and that's saying a lot!!
This was absolutely awesome. Ticking off dreams, showing off good parenting and leaving a legacy for your kids, and a major nostalgia kick to boot. This one definitely hit in the feels.
I won't lie, got a bit teary-eyed at the end there. I remember hearing Zack and Ari talking about this a while back, it was such a pleasure to get to watch you guys actually do it!
Three minutes in I knew I would be late for whatever I was planning to do this morning. It doesn’t matter… this so good. The editing, the dialogue, two of my favorite biker-TH-cam dudes. Plus a rather cool rig (despite the ergonomics.) Just brilliant…thanks guys and gals for taking us along.
When I was little I spent a lot of hours riding behind my dad on his 65 BSA including a couple of trips to Laconia NH for bike week. He died in 2000 and I’d been holding onto the BSA. It hadn’t run in years and I’d just been dragging it around with me from place to place. I finally owned up to the fact that I didn’t have the time, skills or money to restore it so I decided to sell it to someone who did. I hopped on to roll it out of the garage for the sale and my daughter, who was six at the time, asked if she could climb on behind me. She wrapped her arms around my waist and asked if that was how I rode with my dad, who she had never met. I choked out a yes as the tears welled up in my eyes. The guy I sold it to by the way did an amazing resto job.
I had little intention of watching this episode just 'cause "who cares about sidecar racing?" But guys, I'm so glad I did. Great video all the way around. My thanks not only to Zach and Ari for sharing a part of their childhood but also to all the crew and editors for their part in making this hit right in the feels. Fantastic job!
I had my heart beating insanely fast on the race day. This video is so fun, emotional, entertaining, and your friendship is so nice, and now I think even stronger. You can literally feel the bond you have. And I think you made Senior proud! Hats off for the way the story was told, video editing and filming, everything was spot on! Keep bringing such episodes, as we love them!
Who else was leaning through every turn with you guys!! What a video! I’m sooo happy for you guys being able to do this together and have so much fun 💪🏼
To be completely honest this was my introduction to vintage sidecar racing. I never knew such awesome things existed! The quality and thought put into these episodes make it feel like a full on Netflix series.
This right here, it's putting tears in my eyes. Just happy friends and their dreams. I love these adventures with the best motorcycle hosts in the world
Man this was a lot of fun. Somehow not having comms made you guys mor in sync. Perhaps because you weren't waiting for confirmation from the partner and just trusted each other. I never thought that passenger in a side car was just along for the ride, but still thought sidecar racig was a silly thing. This episode has completely changed my mind on it and I can now see that this is a true team effort and not just a battle of the fastest. The position on track almost takes a back seat. Almost, because the race was definitely a nail biter! Thank you for a bag of emotion! P.S. Ари всё-таки больной чудик!
Wow. Just wow. You guys had me in tears with your last words. Its wonderful to see a friendship that lasted so long and still is pumping like it was the first day.
GREAT videos guys! My son John rode monkey for Ed Frankel on his Norton sidecar rig. John sent me the link to this great video. THANKS! for the memories of many of our best father/son memories with old bikes, Tim, Tom, Ed and many others. Charlie Seymour (#119, 450 Ducati)
What a wonderful story. I hadn't realised, as others have said, that you two went back so far. This was so much fun to watch. I got pretty nervous during the last race. Was a bit worried you might stack it, but it was all good. What an awesome experience to be able to share with a friend.
Oh my God! Ari and Zack, you made me cry tears of joy. I truly loved seeing you two putting this together. I loved the Alaska journey, but this was better. Cheers to the both of you. May you have many more shared journeys, and please share them with us.
No better feeling than rubbing your shoulder in the weeds at high speed . My dad & mum raced grass track sidecars and my dad went on to ride trials sidecars when he got old. So much fun ripping around with your mate . Great video 👍
I love all your adventures, but this one was amazing. One of my most favourite episodes to date. Absolutely loved it. Watching you guys for a while now and I never realised you grew up together. Which makes this episode even more special. I must have missed that detail if you’ve ever mentioned it in past videos. ❤
I have rolled through Chelsea, VT so many times on my own little offroad adventures and never known that was the home of these two. What a wonderful adventure, article, and story. Thank you to the Revzilla team, Zack, and Ari.
This is hands-down the best CTXP episode to date. Dumb and Dumber was the leader previously but damn, this one hits on all cylinders. The road trip was fun, but Zach and Ari fixing the bike and racing together was pure awesomesauce. I'm also now VERY interested in watching more sidecar racing, holy crap it looks fun to watch.
Man, I've been following Zach and Ari from their motorcyclist magazine days. Honestly one of my absolute favorite episodes that they've ever done out of all of their work with CTXP, Throttle Out, and On Two Wheels. Never really commented on one of your videos, but I just rewatched this episode and remembered why I love the two of them.
May your friendship and bond stand the test of time. You guys are so genuine and refreshing. I am extremely jealous of the memories and experiences you guys get to have together, and I can't think of a greater compliment I can pay you. Be safe and keep allowing us to live vicariously through you.
That was sooo good! Zack and Ari are so good on camera together and with the superb cinematography and editing this was a joy to watch. Well done team!!
That intro was already amazing! I'm sure to love the rest of the show. Great work to everyone! Post-Watch Edit: My back and knees no longer hurt. WTF are taxes? I'm 10yo again with an empty mug that minutes ago was just full to the brim with hot cocoa. I just finished watching--smiling ear to ear all throughout--a 90's/00's feel-good sports movie. And nobody could convince me otherwise.
Thank you ! That was thrilling to watch and meeting Zack senior a privilege. I’m planning a trip on my BMW 1250 GSA through America and will definitely make plans to ride through your home town.thanks again. From Angus in the U.K 👍
It's half 1 in the morning, and I'm cheering for two blokes whom I've watched 3 videos of, doing a sport I've no interest in, and I'm loving every minute of this!! Amazing job guys I'm actually sold on this sport! Awesome awesome awesome! Would love to give it a go myself!
What an amazing film! You guys are one of the reasons I started riding. Your chemistry is intoxicating and I can’t wait to see your next adventure. Kudos to both of you and the film crew!
this is the best sport video i have ever watch. its not like basketball or soccer where everyone is so intense and so serious. this is just like watching a bunch of guys put on their childhood brain again. i don't even cared what place they were in, I just knew that every one had a blast.
I think what I love most about this video in particular is how invested RevZilla was in telling a story that truly seems so close to the heart for these two. That’s a Family thing right there! You guys are a hell of a crew over there at RevZilla!
Ive been watching you boys for a long time. This is by far the video that I loved the most. Smiles for miles. Thank you for such a wonderful distraction. Keep it up boys!!!

The “eh?” Added to the subtitles is much appreciated and not unnoticed! 😂😂😂
What a beautiful story! I never knew Zach and Ari were childhood friends, and Ari honoring Zach's dad by riding in his old suit, just added to complete the circle❤
I love how the subtitles person put "eh" on the end of every sentence at the border crossing guard whether he said it or not
well yeah, he’s speaking Canadian and you’ve got to translate the subtitles to english
Yessss!
Zach and Ari never miss with these videos. I loved every second of this. Spencer and the rest of the crew behind the scenes also killed it.
I was clenching with them into every turn :-) and a training montage as well , fabulous
Yeah give more money to this!!
Couldn't have said it better 👍
Amazing episode
Don't kill stuff. It's better alive.
At 23:59, its so funny how these two act like little kids together. The lil laughter and giggles as they semi scandalously pass the boarder.
You end up perpendicular a few inches to the ground. the Isle TT side car racing is probably the most exciting bike racing you can do. LOVE watching those guy hang it out sideways at ridiculous speeds
This is just brilliant: origin story, nostalgia, down-to-the-wire competition, and a healthy dose of insanity. Kudos, guys.
And I forgot heartwarming, because it really, really is.

This was awesome, thanks for taking us on this adventure
Best episode yet! Perfect blend of old nostalgia, simple machines, small town living, and exciting racing. The editing was top notch too.
Killer episode as usual!
It’s crazy how much history you two have! Awesome to see things come full circle
Wow.
Wow, talk an amazing video! The cinematic quality was great and really captured the emotion. Very well done by team CTXP!
I can´t get enough of Zack and Ari, such an amazing friendship. As always a great video guys. Sending love and support from Spain!
So happy these guys found Revzilla to lean into amazing productions like these! Keep up the killer job guys 🤙🏻
This episode was so good it helped me get side tracked from a kidney stone I was trying to pass, not kidding.
You made that bike relive again ....🎉👏👏
Just this year I got to race my fathers old enduro kart after waiting for 34 years. So I'm really happy you guys got to experience this together.
That race edit... OMG, I was like I was watching F1. Great video guys. And what a story! Loved it!
Can't help but smile while watching. These guys are such legends. The deserve so much
I have rolled through Chelsea, VT so many times on my own little offroad adventures and never known that was the home of these two.
I guess this was the most wholesome video i have seen in while, both of you are so lucky to have friendship like that👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎉
Man, I've been following Zach and Ari from their motorcyclist magazine days.
32:07 Stellar driving you guys! For a first time you are rocking it! All those years of friendship definetly is a teamwork benefit!
The editors adding "eh" to every sentence the worker said at the border crossing had me dying 😂
What an amazing film! You guys are one of the reasons I started riding. Your chemistry is intoxicating and I can’t wait to see your next adventure. Kudos to both of you and the film crew!
I'm going to go out and finally get my motorcycle license after dreaming about these machines since I was a kid. These vids are incredible, guys.
this is the best sport video i have ever watch. its not like basketball or soccer where everyone is so intense and so serious. this is just like watching a bunch of guys put on their childhood brain again. i don't even cared what place they were in, I just knew that every one had a blast.
Brilliant. So simple, entertaining and moving in such an everyday, human way. I shed a tear. Thanks guys and Revzila. All smiles here
I think what I love most about this video in particular is how invested RevZilla was in telling a story that truly seems so close to the heart for these two. That’s a Family thing right there! You guys are a hell of a crew over there at RevZilla!
Ive been watching you boys for a long time. This is by far the video that I loved the most. Smiles for miles. Thank you for such a wonderful distraction. Keep it up boys!!!
Probably my favorite CTXP episode, so wholesome, so enjoyable.
