Funny I come across this today. Ive got a 20 ss 1le, and im picking up a 15 z06 3lz z07 package this Saturday. I even thought of making a video like this too. Congrats on your awesome cars
I hear ya on the manual. I love the new Z06, but no manual option is ridiculous imo. I was pissed (and still am) when i first discovered there would be no manual for the C8. I'd would have one if not for that. Grabbed my 18ss 1le new instead, and couldn't be happier.
The vette is several hundred pounds lighter than the camaro. That’s why everything is a little bit better. I bought a 21’ SS 1LE 6SPD because it was one of the last manual transmission sports cars you could buy new. I’m not a camaro or Chevy or American car guy at all, it’s just what ticked the boxes.
i compromised and got the evil 3rd brother zl1. i always thought GS gearing was for track use. can you wind it out more over a base c7? is gearing different for your 1le? it was on my 5th gen 1le along with 3.90 gearing.
I've had both in one version or another non 1le and the the base trim for the GS I was forced to park the vett outside and I could not stand this idea just because of the attention this car gets I sold my favorite car to buy my second favorite all time vehicle a91 wish it was a 92 3rd generation camaro convertible z28 I knew this car wouldn't grab the attention like the rest but I do miss the vett
@@jamesjensen5226 my buddy of mine have a 2019 grand sport corvette and I have a 2017 Camaro 2ss mines get more attention then he does well I guess I got a lot of cosmetic mods on mine

Gearing is probably the worst part of the GS. Way too long. Geared to do 300... The 1LE was shorter.
