- Feels like a strong hero. I might make an update if I find a better draft. I think he needs to be commited to a pure cleave comp rather than a flex/aggro playstyle like I do. In this Commander Pavel Showcase, we'll test him in Top 30 GvG and Top 200 RTA.

For me, I have been having a lot of success running a build that looks like this: 5029 atk, 275 CD, 190 speed, and Symbol on pen set. Pen set helps a lot with his s3 damage, adding about 2k damage on average. His s2 deals a shit ton of damage and can sometimes kill a squishy, and I usually use his s3 to kill bruisers, and soul weavers. The s3 doesn’t generally work well killing main tanks or A.Ravi, unless she’s not on proof. My RTA drafts look like this generally: A.Ras, Riolet, Flidica, Cavel, Straze. (Note: my Riolet is a speed Riolet at 275 speed, pen set, 3881 atk, and 266 CD, and my Straze is on Azure comet) that draft will kill those super bulky teams no problem. you could replace Riolet with green Pavel or Closer Charles, maybe put in C.dom. But I find Cavel pretty strong overall.

Dux Noctis is probs the best dmg artifact on him, and 170+ speed to not get cut by natural cr pushers
u need more attack and pen set to do the max dmg cuz the bigger the attack difference the more pen he gets

Hi valk first gz to all your ML 5*, second try ran r&l , elphelt or any def break unit combo you will love it , he is more like situation unit like osig and also his main skill is s2 not his s3 ( he is not 1shot aravi don't expect him )
S2 into S3 looks like it'll do the trick if he has enough dmg so he's looking good!
yeah awkward part for me is ran isn't a natural fit into my play style. my current playstyle picks up a lot from the way jintae plays and it leads to an easier time playing roy than anything else, kinda wild.

misha should in theory be more overall damage because it breaks crit damage cap even if dux helps ramp crit. you lose a lot of value though if you open with single targets

Yes, OP is up against very strong opponents and he is missing by a tiny bit of damage or speed. That is a gear issue. Since if he gets that extra damage or speed, he would have handily won.
This is how cleave works. You lack that tiny bit of damage or speed, victory becomes defeat.
I went 200+ gbm sums without a single ml5, and this guy pulls 2 in a few mins..
oh I pulled 4. I pulled more ml5s tonight than the rest of my 3.5 year e7 life combined (outside of refund events)

Obviously usable. But not good as other ml5.

He doesn't reduce buff durations, apply attack down, gives vigor and extra turn to provoke, push back and add barrier.
He doesn't heal a portion of the damage he receives, gets CR push and have a free 30% crit chance, doesn't scale with tankiness and doesn't revive when he kills, gives 100% CR and gives skill null.
He doesn't reduce debuffs durations by one, all cleanse with attack and immunity plus big CR gain, doesn't strip all buffs, plus apply attack down and gives barrier to whole team.
He is the finishing touches of cleave, if something survives he would normally clean up, he could literally finish off the enemy if you land the defs breaks with Ran, without even being his turn so he doesn't proc any counters.
Yes, he is good.

Crazy w those stats, def pen, and Atk buff he only does that dmg. His modifiers are modest.. He's kinda bad?
Don't like sg puts Atk up in kits but balances it around that. If he gets unbuffable/Atk down he's just trash.
I think in a good draft no unit has the chance to land unbuffable/atk down
trying him @ 5100/280 @ 180 spd. hes pretty good and is balanced. Just felt w those stats, youd want to see more gaudy dmg numbers.
My bottom point wasnt bout debuffs; shoulda not mentioned that. My point was just some heros are balanced around their built in atk buff, and w.o it they're dmg is lower than other 1 shot heros w.o atk like watcher, luna, hwa, zahhak, etc. Def enjoying Pavel tho.

idk about that lol. I have like 8 pieces of destruction gear on my acct and I don't even have a second set. my speed gear is some of the best but if you think my banshee gear is 0.5% percentile you're gonna get your world view opened up when you see some top tier banshee accts xD
@@Valky i mean that's fair, but I've been playing for a long time as well(close to release), albeit more casual, but my best gear is missing a big 50%cdm and 20 speed compared to yours hahaha, maybe I'm just worse than I thought :')
@@Valky and to my defense you do say in the title top 200 rta so I'm pretty sure that's at least close to 0.5% total players Hahaha
@@SpyralKing lol you don't have to defend anything I'm srs though, my speed gear is very top tier but my destruction gear is pretty iffy, if I could I'd wanna have same damage but 20 spd faster 😆
