- From what I've seen, this is the safest way to play RTA by far. Tanking down isn't the most exciting way to play but it certainly is the safest. This draft guide breaks down how this team comp works.

It's been a number of seasons since I really played a lot of RTA but with Ravi being one of my favorite units I had to get that Apoc skin. Your videos were a huge help in organizing my roster and draft. Thanks a bunch for the high level thought processes.

Interesting. I'm only now realizing that I was of this style of play 2 seasons ago and really liked it. This previous season I stopped doing this in favor of a more standard draft, but never really felt like I got the hang of it and couldn't tell why. I may try going back to this style next season.

This video is so helpful, the majority of the units I use are mostly tank and bruiserish. I just recently finished my Clilias (sitting at a ripe 290 spd) and she has been a Godsend in these comps. But yeah, most speed gears I roll are always bad so I tend to play the more slower playstyle.
I do have one question. What would be the ideal Stat line in terms of a lifesteal Stene?
pretty preference based. I run 8500 mcd/62k ehp as a baseline and squeeze from there
Never thought I would see the day... Valk what happen to win fast lose fast. Also I miss the old slow draft... bring back my 3 friendly knights with 2 supports.

Thank you for the video. Just wanted to ask if there is an average speed that would be recommended for support units? Would it be around 200 to 220, or would it depend on the unit?
It depends on the unit, for example you could run Mediator Kawerik anywhere from 210 to 240 speed, but for Conqueror Lilias you definitely want at least 270+.
For this type of play, wich ML is better? Clilias or Belian?

This style is not for me but Valky content is always good so I still enjoyed this one.
What do you think about Belian being another essential unit for tank down? She lowers the opponents dmg/utility by denying souls and can slowly take down the opponents dps units, similar to SSB and Ameru.
same reason fire charlottes not in. only aoe is too punishable. situational unit

yes, if you been watching every video, the framework of the draft has not changed. The units being slotted has been constantly updated.

Hi, so hmm I am looking to play tank down playstyle in the long run but I do not have asd, aola, clilias or aravi and was wondering who I should be selecting in the upcoming headhunt event(I was mostly thinking about aravi or clilias. I am leaning towards aravi more since aravi just got reran and I didn't get lucky getting her while I can save pity for clilias rerun). (I have alot of the more niche ml5s my luck is just bad on who I get meta wise x.x)
(I do have djb, ruele, bm haste, hand guy, fceci, opsig, stene and lqc while the rest are mostly for cleave or outdated v.v)
I would take a ravi. She is versatile, flexible and argueablely the best unit in the game. You could say the same for clilias but a ravi is way easier to gear while clilias is very reliant on your own speed gear progress.

Id take aravi too. Cilias was gonna be my pick but she gets banned so often i feel id never get to draft her

@Valky sweet I have Landy, need A yufine to come back around though.
Easier to kill Hwa than to outspeed Ran. So I only ban Ran usually.
Do you think this playstyle is still worth against the new meta ?
not sure what you mean. it's been here since the beginning through all metas. guys without speed gear need a way to play the game too.
This kind of playstyle is argueablely harder with the release of Lua. Playing turn 2 against her is very miserable.
I’d like to see someone actually make a useful guide rather than use whale (ML5) hero. Just proves there is ZERO skill in a mobile app lol. Spend to get the best heroes then waste your life farming gear. There is no skill. You can cope and say, but ask yourself, what heroes do you use?
