- Not much edits, im burnt out D: But i'll be fine after watching shoujou ramune. Commander Pavel for me is a very good cleave/aggro unit, he can synergize with a lot of fast characters and does good enough damage to hold his weight. This is strictly my opinion so I hope i dont piss anyone off, you can absolutely disagree with me, but i trust you enough to keep things civil :D

When I was nerding around with my friends I came up with this setup :
Cilias buff Vigor and Provoke
Eda soulburn S2 and S3
Pavel with Attack and Pen set with a stat, Attack 5k, crit damage 280% crit chance 100% speed 150 his artifact is +30 symbol of unity
(free unit to buff or stuff like that)
this setup, pavel S2 deals 15 to 17k damage and S3 deal around 28k damage to dorvus and Aravi
Theres an artifact that increase s2 dmg by 30%

Not yuna , hargana something , heres what he does : when an alliy attack outside of his turn ;(mlpavel s2) , the dmg xill be increased by 40%

tried to pull him but sadly the rng gods arent in my favor. looks amazing , looks strong and probably the best rep hero

I only got him because I wanted a choux imprint to 6* her which I did. Going to use the new grace for him so I don't waste resources I don't have
Is Peira or Ran better to pair with him? Don't have both of them so I'm planning on getting one of them in the upcoming selector.
Ran would be better but to proc his s2 easily normal pavel or eda would be better in that sense
Unless you do Crit Peira, Ran is better as it'd be more consistent with another char than Peira imo
Depend on team , if you want to kill one by one , then feira , if you want to kill all of them at the same time , ran

Ive been using wall of order (landys artifact) on commander pavel so he gets a cr push of 10% when his passive activates begone and on the side he gets an atk buff every now and then
Update: Well I feel dumb, he already got a cr push of 50% so this is practically useless. Time to put this back with the artifacts I never use

He's a limited banner char so if I were you I would pull for him regardless of how good he is.

Sometimes my ml pavel s2 hits so hard I feel like the enemies had no gear on

I don't understand why some people are saying he's underwhelming. Yea his modifiers may be on the lower side but, S2 + S3 most things die unless you fight a fully cracked out ARavi which isn't everyday especially in the lower ranks which most people are at anyway.
Cause the only thing he does is just doing 1 more attack in a cleave team
For exemple , instead of him , you can use any other area dmg units , the diference is that he have his s3 next wich kill a unit
But having a area attack unit with a debuff might be more usefull
His only hope was his cr push , making low speed high dmg build possible , but his dmg are low , so he need more attack than most dps have
In this video he have 4.5k attack , wich is realy high , yet his s2 dmg are realy weak , he need a def break , or a lot of attack buff
Yet with that , any low attack characters can cleave , even a cerise s3
It just not worth the 200 pulls , at least not his stats

@@shirakolee He's another self-gap closer like ML charles mate, his role is also the same, he sweeps. No a cerise or any low atk unit cannot replace him. Why? Because they can't gap close. You're looking at him with pretty shallow eyes. His gear here are also not stellar. Also keep in mind, he was also attacking innately tanky units; A Ravi, Belian, Hwayoung. Which almost all cleavers will do about the same dmg with just atk buff. My comps are cleave focused so I do have experience in what I'm saying.
@@familyaniban7200 Yeah Doggos was just testing the waters here to see what he could get away with. Bringing Ran into Belian+Rem is legit just rolling the dice xD. But he brings squishy AoEs into counter heavy bruisers and doesn't get melted. The results? People get mad and say the hero is trash. Like bro ML Pavel isn't even playing to his strengths here. Idk why everyone in the universe is acting like he's meant to kill A. Ravi. We have that. She's called LQC and every other single target damage dealer out there.
@@KillaBryx the worst part is, no unit aside from maybe Straze and maybe Roy(?) could guarantee a kill on an A Ravi, especially not one on PoV. Yet people still cried, what they're also not seeing is that, A Ravi also heals in between the s2 proc and s3 kill, it's why it feels tankier than usual for them.

hey does anyone know if it's normal for the new ml pavel to be so low damage in ultimate even with very high atk? or is it a bug?
def pen scales of atk diff, so if you hit a low atk char it would do the 70% pen, if you target another amage dealer or for some reason the enemy ravi or w/e has atk, the damage will be lower, tanky senya would take very little samage for example because she is geared atk+bulk
@@erikramos6027 i know how it works and i focused the tanks when i ulted with him but still the damage was not more than 6k, it doesn't make sense, i have 4k atk and 250% critical damage with
@@hokkaido9932 From seeing various builds from other people, it seems you need quite a bit more than that since the def pen amount scales off of the gap between Cavel and your target. It's why some people opt to use Dux Noctis artifact to greater ensure that. And maybe you got unlucky and your opponent rolled some attack on their gear.
@@hokkaido9932 yeah, his multipliers are actually low (0.7), if you don't get the full def pen you are not killing any tank, try to go 5k atk, you only need like 150 spd to match 300w the 50% push, so only 3 stats to worry, atk, cd, cr. Also try an artifact that boosts atk, like dux noctis. Opener + passive should give you full value, so you have guaranted def pen on ult.
Definitely a must have unit for cleaver, unfortunately I'm a banshee player :(

Lifesteal/blood stone ml pavel can be your healer in a bruiser team
@@neito.m.6741 it is a choice but you can't suddenly switch to speed units so that you can use a cleaver. It is what it is, but it is unfortunate if you don't focus on speed because he is really cool.
@@shirakolee that won't work, first of all bruiser pavel hits like a wet noodle, hence the heal is very minimal even on lifesteal and bloodstone, second, he won't gain fighting spirit on your allys counterattack which most banshee farmer relies on, meaning he'll barely trigger his s2 at all in a banshee comp. Basically He is a cleaver only unit and just doesn't work for your comps if you only farm on banshee.

Nah, is kinda bad go look at the ratings I think he has 3.1 o .2 since his s3 damage is kinda trash lol.
Maid Chloe caried me to challenger and I still use her as one of my core heroes all the time. I hope she serves you well as she did me. Tho I never ran into her counters so maybe thats why I've had fun lol.
@@templexdank2933 ML pavel isn't worth unless its for husbando reasons. By the time he does the s2, the team would've been cleaved already. CP just cleans up unless he's there to finish off the tanks like A Ravi to make sure they don't do their thing.
Extra note: Never look at ratings at first release since there isn't enough opinions as well as enough showcases in various situations. Its never a good idea to take in uneducated tips.
man if only he could gain fighting spirit from his own attack, i might not feel so negative about him, his s2 is completely sealed if he doesn't have teammates to crit for him
Yeah I wont get pavel so I may as well find ways to counter him. I would pull but im a standard player and not a cleaver.
Ive made a strange build in case i fight him or get him , a bruiser one , lifesteal , with either blood stone or the invisible artifact , high def/attack , the idea is that every 5 crit he will use his area attack and heal back a lot , also pushing himself , and heal ally by the same amount if you allow him
But seeing this video , his s2 multiplier are realy weak...might be hard

But like you said they dont make new animation for a diferent element
And in adine case , even the s3 is the same
He really needs a ton of attack to get that max defence pen

Getting the unit was not the hard part.. Now try to farm gears for a fast opener and good damage and speed for him heheheHAHAHAHHA.
He is bad as a standalone unit. You wont be using him anytime soon.
I will just straight up a bearer of bad news, he isn't good, with an average build, his multiplier especially the S3 is very low, you'll either need an attack buff or just not use him to get higher damage, especially when you think that he's a moonlight character, also his voice sounds cheap for some reason?

Too bad he doesn't get half focus or something like that for counterattack. Makes him pretty much unusable for a banshee farmer. Too bad I don't use speedy openers, because he is really cool. My fastest unit is 260 and I am champion 3. My playstyle works for me but fast units don't really fit into my comps.
Lifesteal blood stone with good def/attack and you have your bruiser
Eh ml Pavel is decent, but I honestly wouldn't pull for him due to my playstyle. But in my opinion I don't think he's that good. He has low base speed, requires and immense amount of damage to work, and needs set up in order to activate his passive. With units like AoL, Politis, Celine, ml Cermia, T. Surin, and other anti cleave units I believe there is way too much stacked against him in terms of him being able to do good against meta units. Again I'm not saying he's bad, but if he's supposed to counter units like A. Ravi and heavy bruisers (like Choux) than I think he may already need a buff to his kit.
Basically an addition to speed cleave team, since the only way to use him is to get first turn.

ANYWAYS!!! I heard that Commander Pavel is pretty decent. Like Pavel, Peira, Moon Bunny Dom, C. Lilias as members in the team. W.Schuri as a back up for any remaining units.

Ml Pavel with 4.4k atk + 24% atk from dux noctis + atk buff and 343% C.Dmg + 85% penatrate (with pen set) and A.Ravi just only 24% decreased damage dealt and he just dealt only 18k?!!😱
W.Schuri and Straze with AoE skill can do much better than him😓

No they are definitely there.I fluctuate between Champ 5 and 3. What I usually see are Rimuru, CLilias, Hwa teams, or ARavi, Belian, Politis teams, or some mix of those and Peira + S. Iseria.
Been seeing a lot more Politis lately and slightly less Hwa.
If i ever get him , i will build him lifesteal/blood stone with high def and use him in a bruiser team , he will be my main healer/dps
