I mean that's actually not necessarily wrong because Pavel's loyalty lies with Perland and only Perland. It's been hinted at multiple times that CPavel and Cilias will fight if either one betrays Perland.
They literally say in his intro vid he'd kill either cilias or riolet if it was for the good of perland
Ya know everyone talking about his s3 not hitting as hard as they thought, and yeah it’s not that big, but they also ignoring that he’s doing an extra 7-9k from his s2

People have been brain damaged by playing hwayoung for so long that they dont see his strength.
He got insane damage if you can gear him correctly.
And not to be that guy but most of the salty players are proberly not end game players🤷♂️
His damage look ok to me , is not straze level but is good enough to clean up the rest of their team

At least you can choose who to nuke, unlike with Straze

Don’t care what anyone says, these balanced units are what’s best for the game. I’ve seen pvp games get ruined because they continued to release Hwayoung after Hwayoung.
I swear everyone says the same “oh he’s underwhelming” but the split second he gets a buff those same people will be calling him broken. What SG needs to do is nerf units until they are about this level, ig that’s the problem with ml pavel; he’s a reasonable unit that can’t just be used alone to great effect. He needs a team around him, that’s what makes him balanced.
People complain about hwayoung and aravi but when a character isnt aravi/hwayoung level they complain

@@HerberToad Don't blame the players, blame the game. Every new dps will be measured by hw performance, every new bruiser by Aravi. Every new character will be faced with the problem "can it take hw/aravi spot in my team?" If answer is no thus underwhelming unit.

Pavel is my first 5 star hero. As a player who mains gunners, this is a brilliant addition. I'm getting him as soon as possible

I think he needs a base damage in his ulti then the extra scale damage, i mean to do a little bit against dps units
You can increase more of his damage if your using deus nocsis (pavel artifact i dont remember the spelling sorry)
people are forgetting the fact that he can take on counter defense teams. he’s really good.
Also: Which EE do you use for Green Pavel here? I'd assume s2 but doesn't the increased atk buff get overlapped and kind of goes to waste? so is s3 EE best then?
I mean... He's kind of a "support buster"... His S2 is probably one of the best things they've released as S2 in a while. His S3 needs to target enemies with low attack, so supports... And while it's true most tanks or supports don't scale on attack, their hp pool can be more than he can manage... Without S2. The S2-S3 combo kind of does the trick, but yeah... He's balanced and in E7 balance seems to be a no go o. O
What are your Stene's stats? And he seems to do his job just fine to me.
How do you feel about CDom instead of Politis in the first team you showed? Any positives or negatives in this? Can still wear book.
Politis was there to halt aravi Cr. Cdom would work (if you have cracked Pavel to kill cilias)

His s2 cant be countered unless rimuru, he can push himself up by 50%, s2 does automatic damage when requiremets are met, his elemenet is light so hes able to hit all units, s3 multipliers are meh but that given because he would be way too op in a certain comps of being able to nuke the enemey without them having to do anything (Green pavel + mlpavel, landy +ml pavel)
Just because hes not broken doesnt mean hes not good😑

@@Tylervp its an extra attack so it cant be countered by normal counterattacks like counter set, rem s2, or elbris but it can be countered by certain extra attacks like MFF and rimuru s2.

The reason why his s3 does mostly little damage is because how they handled the penetration ratio according to the difference in attack. Putting into perspective Straze´s s3, his has 30% innate pen and needs 2333 atk difference to fully penetrate (along better atk mods). But for some reason SG decided to not give any innate pen on ML Pavel´s s3, and needing up to 5893 atk difference for full penetration (wtf????). So he almost never will penetrate 100% with the s3 against tanks, and no chance of happening against dps in case it´s needed. The buff here would honestly be making his s3 recieve some of Straze´s s3 treatment and minor atk mod buffs because as a speed cleave unit he´s fairly ease to use, just lacks some damage potential and consistency

Is it just me or is the sound quality on ML Pavel here and ML Elena in the trailer sound real off. For that matter, a lot of the reveal heroes in the trailer sounded similar in quality. Again, could just be my hearing.

I do wish his last shot did more damage tho, like 60% damage from start, 40% from shot. It feels kinda meh xd

The thing with Cpavel is that he needs too much setup to work
That was fast. His damage is pretty shite and wouldn't 1 shot any aravi's without softening. He's pretty much a cleave cleaner which you can pretty much put anyone else. Straze still number one tank killer.
Edit: I don't want him to be broken. His s2 damage is good AoE and that is his best part that really got me interested in him. What turns me off is the disappointing numbers the s3 does considering Grass gave him good gear. Was expecting like 25-30k but he is barely touching 20k and that is with pen set already.
But still always managed to kill a.ravi in the video
U cannot forget that he has Always his s2 addionally to his s3 and two attacks prior so he activates his s2
@@theskullmen1324 yeah because by that time she's pretty much banged up by initiating attacks. What i'm disappointed about is he can't 1 shot a healthy Aravi which his s3 sounds to do that job but just barely doing it.

I will say that he does look a tiny bit weaker than expected but he is still good in the role as follow up unit.
Also his kit alows him zo cycle much faster than straze and he will kerp up with your other units dispite having low speed.

7k dmg on Pavel S3 + 9k dmg on S2 + 21k dmg on S3 against Aravi on SPEED Set. Seems Decent

It’s unfortunate that he’s on the weaker side but they already got burnt releasing Aravi buffs, Belian and Cilias, maybe it’s better this way, let people pull for husbando or save for something they like more like ML Elena, then eventually tweak him to be better but not a gamebreaker.

Pretty sure it's just the build you're using on him on this showcase. Try making him slow with atk set as he already has a big self cr boost.

10/10 animation, 🤡 in dmg. I got her and... is depressing 5.4atk+atkbuff, 350CD and 5 charge of dux noctis and only do 18-20kdmg to aravis with pov
Soooo cause he doesnt 1 shot pov aravi he has bad damage? Even whilst dealing 18-20k+ big damage to the entire team with s2 right before that ? Its obv aravi is the actual problem and not cpavels damage.

The people are just ignoring the details pretty obvious in this unit roleplay. Pretty shame, but happens. I dont regret having mine, to me he's a great unit who make very well his service.
