I have read Suratul Nur for over 30years, and now have a much clearer understanding. With this clarification, inchaAllah, I will dedicate a month of study. Thank you to all who is, have and continues to spread knowledge. May Allah further increase your understanding of this beautiful Quraan.
Subhanallah. It's also important to acknowledge the science incorporated into this Ayah. Dhaw', or light with fire, is associated with the sun. The sun literally burns, nuclear fusion occurring within its core. But Nur, or light without fire, is associated with the moon. And the moon does not burn, it simply reflects. So in this ayah, Allah proves the authenticity of the Qur'an as well.
Ayat 35 of surah nur is that ayat that triggers you to study the ayat in depth. So much complexity in the ayat and I'm in awe with the explanation of each words. Masha Allah
Lessons by Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan are so unique and very informative. May Allah Almighty reward him abundantly and grant him the highest rank in Jannah. Ameen
Subhanallah, i love this parabole. It honestly hits so deep. I reverted to islam, and to be honest i did fall into darkness, perhaps not something visible, but my will was turning very dark, but Alhamdulillah just in time Allah SWT saved me from that darkness, and gave me this light i recognize. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Assalamu alaikum my dear brothers and sisters. Ask for patience, and pray so our hearts don't deviate after they have been guided.
This Ayah is ALSO referring to the pineal gland in the brain. The oil is the cerebral spinal fluid that moves up the spine to light up/ignite it. When this oil reaches the pineal gland, it actually activates the third eye AND lights up the body. It has profound physical and spiritual benefits. The pineal gland sits in a hallow structure just like the Quran describes. Prophet Yusuf taught the "eye of Horus" to the Egyptians. The "eye" IS the pineal gland. SubhanAllah!
this is the ayah that drove me and my friend crazy trying to figure it out haha. but iA will be naming baby after this ayah. Noor is the most beautiful word because Allah is NOOR.
when i heart that aya for the first time by sudais the words where just so powerful and beautiful i never heart something like it i just cried it is such a complex and beautiful ayat that shows the power of Allah swt
The dude said in the beginning ”Just a touch” and he blew me away. Masha’Allah for his great insight and I thank him for sharing with us and Allah for letting him share with us. Jazak Allah Khair
The Quran is so beautiful, the english can never do it justice. May Allah reward the brother Nouman for sharing his knowledge with us, and grant him Jennatil Firdous, Ameen.
Beautifully explained... I have tears in my eyes and a level up in my Imaan.. jazak Allah khair sir.. may you be amongst those with whom Allah is pleased.. May Allah bless us with hadayah... Ameen ♥️
Never before was this feeling.......that I felt today listening to this beautiful explanation done by brother Nouman. May ALLAH bless everyone this light upon light.
Such an amazing, powerful, lucid speaker is Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan. May Allah continue to send His light upon you so that you may continue to spread this light of Knowledge to us all. Jazakallah!Aameen!
What a speech..MashAllah Allah gives him such a precious wisdom.Really understanding & Informative.Today's world we needd more speaker like Ustad N.A.K, May Allah makes him happier in the rest of life.
I was thinking over a disbeliever question of how would you define Allah if you are saying he exists? First I came across Laisa ka meslihi shai, then Allah o noor usamauat, I got confused. In one place says nothing like Allah and then it says Allah is the light. Finally I checked with Ustad Nouman which explains the light here is a parable which is guidance. Subhanallah
You satisfied my heart by translation and elaboration i was not understanding before even i was learning tafseer but that tafseer was not satisfying me but JazakAllah khyran kaseeran kaseeraa you did it easy for me
what kind of studies do you call this? i love the interpretation/analogy style. it just makes your mind click and you go woahh like how brother nouman ali says. it's like a subtle slap in the face, a sudden realisation.
Basically, Ustadh takes a verse we all have read translations of before and breaks it down with it's islamic terminology into meanings we can all understand in the English language. My favorite parts are the comparison of how a blind person is without light and how a person of faith is without the light of God. Also, the beautiful explanation of how light burns and another light that does not and how they are both used in this verse, Sensational stuff!
ma sha Allah. may allah SWT alway protect you and your family from every kind of evil and may He grant you jannahtu fardaws and your parents and offsprings amen!!
Rabbana atmim lana nurana warghfirlana innaka 'ala kulli syai in kadiir. Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us,and grant us Forgiveness ,for Thou hast power over all things.(QS At Tahriim: 8)
Subhanallah Allahuakbar. What a beautiful verse. Was struggling with this parable. Explained, makes the world of sense. Alhamdulillah for His divine light which envelopes my days.
May Allah bless you Nouman for your efforts...you sure cleared the meaning of this yet another amazing Ayat of Quran that I couldnt understand the meaning of for sometime....JazakAllah
Idk, I think it is Allah who guides to His light who ever he wants. Based on the verse. Also I dont think anyone can do anything unless Allah wants them to.
