AZ80 vs Bose QC Ultra? Where is richer, more detailed sound?
I owned these earbuds twice the first ones I bought the awareness mode wouldn’t work like the wind will cause a strong bass the second ones that I have now they just arrived and when I want to lower the volume it increases I might return them the new Apple EarPods 4 are coming out the Apple ones aren’t good either they fall out my ear and there’s a strong static on my left earbud I’ve tried updating them and it won’t go away is the reason I bought the nose I might have to step in and make my own line of earbuds
ANC is the best from Bose. Hands down🎉

Bose just updated the firmware to 1.10.4. I tried to find the article to see what was updated.
same here for the Bose Open Ultra. Did you find what it's about? Unfortunately still no Multipoint available.
@@rodis.9916 yes no multipoint but I did notice no glitching, intermittently crackling, but a better connection and the audio sounds clearer.
My issue with the Technics AZ 80 is on Amazon it reports that there is a high return rate on those and for that reason I'm apprehensive. Also, with the Bose ultra the ANC is great and it's probably one of the best earbuds to use with immersive sound to watch movies when I'm traveling. If the return time of an item was longer than 2 weeks at Best Buy I would buy them both and try them both and keep the one that I think is best. Connectivity issue is the biggest drawback on the Bose ultra and that's also listed on Amazon. Decisions decisions...
Yea I’ve seen that with a few buds.
My AZ80 are still going strong after 9+ months and I use them for just about everything.
I still love my Bose Ultra but the connection issue is a real thing but I’ve heard newer version suffer less from this.

Updates are getting failed when it is transferring from app to earbud at 50 percent

The one I bought was soundcore by Anker, Space One, these are "affordable" prior to that I had a pair of Q30. I'm not an audiophile.... @anker

The problem is the app, not the other devices nearby. Uninstalling the app or removing the buds from the Bose app sorts out 99% of the connectivity issues.

Android now but have iOS device as well and I could replicate the same scenario.
When the Bose app is installed and the QC Ultra buds are also added, there are these random audio cut outs, stutterings, disconnections, etc. I can trigger the issue quite quickly once start playing with the ANC modes and switching between Aware, Quiet and Immersion after few minutes of listening in each mode. Basically destroys the whole music listening experience.
Once I uninstall the app/delete the buds from the app or disable the app's BT connection, the issues disappears.
It's not the app, it's the earbuds themselves. Myself, like many, have uninstalled the app and still get constant connectivity issues.

Nope, sorry, it WAS the app. Since the latest widget update it's rock hard and stable, no more connectivity issues, drop outs or stuttering in the last 50+ hrs since the update.
Why do you recommend those Technics that not future proof at all?
Also, in 2023 sound personalization should be a basic feature. Technics don't do that. Nura/Denon, Bose, Sennheiser do.

I've already ordered but not going to hold my breath. Nothing beats the Nura (now Denon) sound personalisation. I have a variety of headphones and earbuds, including most of these latest mainstream models.
Technics hasn't been off the radar but not a big fan of Panasonic in general and only supporting SBC, AAC and LDAC is not enough these days. I also don't like the fact that they use a Sony codec when not being a Sony product.
(Side note, if you ever tried the Nuraphones, you would understand why their sound personalisation is so unique and unbelievably good.)
Just make sure you “season” the AZ80 drivers.
Play your favorite genre nice and loud.
The bose ultra earbuds don't let you disable touch controls, even if u disable them from bose app. Even while chewing food , these would pause ur music , these r probably the most stupid earbuds and buggiest earbuds ever and not worth 10 dollars
