This setup is hilarious. Bose should've made the case durable and wireless charging by default. Instead they invent this stupid thing and charge $50 for it.
I just got these as a gift and I was so confused trying to find out how to wirelessly charge them, because SURELY on buds this expensive it's a standard feature, right? I'll miss the wireless charging of my Airpod Pros but I'm not paying their asking price for what looks to be an ill fitting rubber case. The case is already big enough!! Shame they didn't include the feature but I won't complain too much as they sound great. Appreciate this video, it finally made it make sense to me. Don't really understand Bose on this but hey who am I?
I agree. They should've had this feature (along with multipoint connectivity) included with these earbuds for the price. But because of how much I rip Bose for not having those features, I had to get give them credit for trying to rectify this misstep. IMO, it could've been cheaper.
It’s good they at least offer the case, but most definitely BS they not giving it to us for $300 earbuds to begin with. That’s a $350+ setup and I think we can all agree that’s ridiculous…. Regardless, thanks for sharing this with us Ron💯💪

Thanks! So glad I found this because at least now I know to stay away from it! Such a haphazard product when it could and should have been so easily integrated into the original case itself. I'll reluctantly buy the Ultras as I just lost my QC2's but all in the know that they'll no doubt drop a better project with integrated wireless charging in the new year. I wonder if the Ultras came out in a rush for the holidays with no time to wait to develop and integrate wireless charging.
I have the QC1 and the case has wireless charging. When the QC2 came out I was disappointed that there was no wireless charging so I didn't upgrade. When I heard the QC2 Ultra came out I was happy I held off on the QC2 but was shocked when the even more expensive Ultra still doesn't have wireless charging. None the less I still purchased the ultras due to the newer features. I'm still on the fence if I want this case cause every once in a while I will charge my QC1's on a wireless charger but wired charges much more faster.

The silicone cover makes it just as thick. If wireless charging isn't a big deal, yes, go with the silicone cover and save some money. Thanks for the support!
In my country they charge 100 bucks for it, which is just absolutely ridiculous. I would never even consider paying that much for a feature Bose should have provided to begin with.
From what I've seen and heard online, it only includes wireless charging and the charging port. There are no batteries inside the silicone case itself.
@@ronontech mine have arrived. Comfort, Noice cancelling and sound are fantastic, also they are easy to use by touching the bud itself. Based on that I agree these are a very good purchase. I dont find the case too big. I recomend them to others.

No, the case does not have a battery.
You will not get any extended battery life with the case.
Do they have a magnet that sticks to MagSafe charger? If not that’s really disappointing for a case that you need to pay extra

It does take that long. But that's charging from 0 to 100%.

I haven't had a chance to test the case cover when my earbuds battery is completely drained. They say 4-6 hours, but I doubt it would take that long.
Why didn't they just make the cases wireless charging like Samsung and Sony Regardless bose is cash grap!
