I just got a set of these in 64mm. I like the big boys because I ride through my city (Long Beach CA) as well as the skate parks wherever I travel to so I need speed and to maintain it over long distances. I have high hopes for these to absorb the rough ground around town. Looking forward to skating on them tomorrow morning. Thanks for the review! Keep skating!

I ran into an old school skater at the pump track a week ago trying out a set and he sure was not impressed but kind of seemed like one of those "What I like is Best" kind of guys tho... I have been riding a BMX on the track as I destroyed my left knee in a ski injury last year. Taking forever to heal hopefully get back on a skate soon but being my back leg the angles requires on it are just to harsh at this time...
Did you try the Mini Cubic on your Surfskate? I try both, the 64 mm Dragon 93A and the 64 mm Mini Cubic 95A. The latter is faster in the skatepark and on sideways 😎
Which size of the dragon formula wheels do you recommend for a c5? I can see the wheels have different widths. I am thinking of of getting the 60mm to replace the stock 58mm carver wheels.
I like a wider wheel for sure! I did the 56s on mine but those 60s were not out yet at the time. I bet those will be fun on a c5 set up! Please let me know how you like them
Thanks for the feedback, I will admit - it's odd the turn I have taken with my safety gear on the skateboard. I wore my helmet surfing on the river yesterday with out a second thought, but not one when I was skating this am... wha?!?! Maybe I just need a new lid?
@@boisebroncoadventures Hehe I totally understand. I don't wear any protection (or helmet) when I surfskate or longboard but when I go to the mini ramp or bowl I am like a complete mummy. There's a mismatch there as well

DRAMA for the camera tho!!! lol - you are so correct. I have not been out much since my epic knee injury but when checking out a new park here I couldn't help they seem to be getting so much better with etiquette. Especially there, it was refreshing seeing kids that didn't look shell shocked at the sight of adults and have some basic social skills. I think that is a skill a kid has to learn. No one expects them to make friends, but they need to have at least some basic eye contact and acknowledgement even with a nod or "K". Especially when your positioning into sessions in busy spots.

I have not, sad to say I have been able to so little skating this year due to breaking me knee last ski season...
