    I’ve been waiting since 1990 for wheels like this…I had to get them sent from the states as we don’t have them here in the uk.
    They are a game changer. Slide on any surface, the worse the surface the better they slide. I’ve been changing wheels forever. Since I’ve had these they are permanent. You can skate them anywhere, on any surface, park street they are as good all round wheel you’ll ever find.
    George Powell has reinvented the wheel.

      Indigoskyfall: l hope u ordered a few sets being youre in the uk. Even here in the states theyre somewhat hard to get cause everywheres usually sold out due to them being in such high demand & the hype is very high. I havent even been able to get them yet & l live in FL

    If you move your back foot back a little more and stand on your toes instead of the middle of your foot, kinda like your standing on one foot on your toes and you'll be able to lock those manys in longer.
    I can't wait to get a hold of a set of these. My shop is waiting to get some in. Thanks for the review. 🤘

    As a freestyler i was wondering if these we errd for freestyle (since I usually use roller bones or spitfire 55mm OG classics (full) and i have to say they definitely fit the bill.

    I wonder how a bigger Dragon set would feel on a looser surfskate truck, such as a Carver C7 o a Yow Meraki. Any idea?

    If I had other 92-93A wheels to compare to I’d be able to give a better opinion. Closest I have are 95A and 87A. The 87As I have are definitely a smoother ride but don’t really slide at the speeds I am going. The 95As are noticeably harder and still feel like they have a bit of stickyness to them. I do wonder how something like
    92A Rictas would compare though. So far I prefer the Dragons to both the OJ Nomads (95A) and the OJ Keyframes (87A).

    • @AMJProductions
      @AMJProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is some really awesome insight and comparisons! I actually knew someone who would ride ricta clouds a bunch, wish I could get them on dragons to see the difference. Though from most of the softer and even harder wheels I've tried these just work so much better for me

    • @RikRiorik
      @RikRiorik 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AMJProductions cheers. Yeah that would be a valuable comparison. I’ve heard good things about the Rictas mentioned in comments about the Dragons but so far it just seems the Dragons are really popular and considered really good.
      Oh also all the wheels in my original comment are 54mm so more or less conically shaped all of them.

    Who else thinks it would be a good idea to wax the inside of the wheels lil bit to prevent hanging up on certain grinds?

    • @AMJProductions
      @AMJProductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Would have to imagine it's worth a try, I do notice myself sticking on a few rail attempts, but that also just could mean needing more wax on the obstacle.

    I just got a pair of these in but they were in the 52mm and i meant to get the 56. I also skate spitfire formula four 99 duro so I’m hesitant to open the dragon wheels up before i can hear back about a possible product swap. I worry the smaller wheel won’t be something i like. What are your thoughts?

    • @AMJProductions
      @AMJProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      56 to 52 is a huge size jump so definitely go with a product swap if you don't mind the wait. I'm glad I went up in wheel size because I also went up in board size. I feel like going down in size is a tricky-er thing to get used to.

    • @11bangbang402
      @11bangbang402 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AMJProductions thanks for the feedback! I went ahead and got the V4 54mm. They will be bigger than the V1 but not as big as the 56mm. I run the Spitfire formula 4’s like I said but i also ride an 8.5 deck so the slightly smaller wheel should in theory be easier to flip with a wider board. If I’m wrong again on size then this time I’ll just ride the v4 54’s until Powell comes out with a newer formula for the dragons. Thanks again for the feedback!

    what hardness is the slide like? like a 99a? kind of weird question I know

    • @AMJProductions
      @AMJProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No I think that's a totally fair question and sadly it's hard to answer. Like I said in the video it's a totally different slide than anything else and after riding these more I went back to 99a and was like why are these rock hard but not sliding as good. But it's not like it's slippery like a 101a and higher, it just feels like you can control the slide better. I hope that helps, it just is one of those things that can't really be compared.

    geezzuzz , i cant get past the huge glasses on this skater dude . I mean is that really necessary . lol

    • @AMJProductions
      @AMJProductions  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes sadly, I have cognitive retinal optic lucite structure. It affects the reflection of light to the retina producing spear shaped geometric shapes. Larger glasses and stronger prescriptions lessen the affects. Imagine skating wearing kaleidoscopes. That's how it is without the glasses. It's how it is though. The basketball player from the 70 Kareem abdul jabaar has the same thing, that's why he wore the goggles while playing.
