I ran out of time to cover the few service issues I have had. Also I had the dealership install all of my mods and even let me film in the shop lol. I guess we a re pretty lucky to have our dealer choices here. I think I can honestly say all 3 really do a good job - most of the time lol. (people still make mistakes and break downs are never good) Plus - we have some great tuner shops also in our area. All new the car manufactures seem to be facing some major issues with new products, looks what's been happening with the new gen of Tundra v8's for example. The only thing with older Broncos is I think they really do require some mechanical aptitude (of which I lack) - and for sure a tool box in a garage. :) I have been meaning to check out the classic/new build by pop star/movie star Marky Mark. The bit I read stated he used a new Bronco underpinnings just for reliability? Not sure tho - need to check it out sometime. Thanks! I am just a little guy, (5.8) the generation Sno-Go was only the one size then. Lose that stock bar and stem. Replace it with a Deity copperhead and some bars that fit you. These are the 30 mm rise. I have the 50 mm on my bikes and LOVE them! I may swap these out to a pair if I keep riding it. My wife who is 5.7 finds these the right fit though for her. I normally am skiing lol.

She has on a standard winter boot, I have a pair of Salomon winter boots I use when I ride. This edition SnoGo does build snow and ice in the footwells making it a challenge for any boot IMO. I keep a tool with me for digging it out every so often.

This video is old and was before I was using pro tools for production like I would today. Makes for a big difference in audio mixing abilities. If you check out my more recent day at the lake video - that was actually recorded with a decent microphone too. There is even an no music version for you! :) Sounds much better than the GoPro 10 you hear here lol.

I am very happy with my transit order and feel thankful I got it when I did as it seems they will be very rare now that they are no longer being imported and part of the current sales line up for Ford. There are still a few 23 models in dealer inventory in my area.

I just closed on a low mileage 2020 today, with barn doors. Same thought process wanting the passenger for the finished cabin and versatility. I’ll turn this into a weekender, pull the two rear row seats and one of the other seats.

That thing was a blast, I was psyched to have had the opportunity to make this video with it!

Thanks! Had a bit of a skate progression set back with a broken knee two winters ago now. Back on the skates again and learning all over. I got some rock to fakies and having lots of fun cruising around again. Not near where I was tho before the injury. The C5's are so flow in parks and ramps and much better suited to them imo. Make sure to check out my kingpin hack video for them tho if you are grinding. Those were ruff-rider wheels then, I have 55mm dragons on the deck now. I did like how "cruiser" like the other wheels were but the dragons have just the right amount of slide for me and still grip but have that solid traditional skate feels. Unlike most surf skates. My custom c5 set up is hands down my favorite now vs all 3 Carver systems. I need to do an updated comparison video soon!

Edmunds data is debatable on the Transit... 90% of it is likely from fleet or commercial use vehicles. Go ahead and let hourly employees drive your vans for years and let's see how many repairs ANYTHING would need after that lol. 1 year review is certainly not a "longevity" test :)

@@boisebroncoadventures I have a 2014 van that I bought used with about 50k miles. From the beginning the gears didn't shift right and many things broke before it even had 60k miles like water pump, air con and more. I decided to get it repaired bc of the cost to replace it. But it doesn't speak for the quality. For the transmission I did a fluid change and hope the car holds up. Overall I don't think it's build to a high quality.

Other reviews say the tranny won’t last 100k miles. And $8k for a new one. I think I’ll stick to my Toyota Sienna.

Totally agree :) but as a noob I was just trying to understand if I used a Surfskate with a bigger recommended wheelbase according to the formula, how would they affect my skating? Would it make it harder to pump, would it be less fun etc?

@@trishanamungal8566 the shorter wheelbase will be much more responsive and “snappy”. The longer will be smoother with longer more drawn out carves perfect for sidewalks

I did :) and it says 15-17 inch. Actually thinking of the exact CX in your video but it seems super snappy. Never tried it and can’t demo hence my confusion

Thanks for the support! I totally think your c5 Santa Cruz combo would be amazing! I kept the stock spacers when I swapped decks and I think the carver truck set will come with them. I have that sweet Natus I built and am tempted to swap the indies for my CX trucks.

Thanks so much for the pro tip! I will keep that in mind next sessions for sure. The knee was a bit sore after this even though I didn't tweak anything. I think it is just mad at me from the 2 days of consecutive skating. These old bones and joints of mine... yuck

For sure - thank you so much. I still need to get out this year, been slowly getting this knee back. I did do some nordic skiing but unsure about the Sakana's still. Even if I do go skiing I will still bring the bike tho... Last winter was a game changer. I learned to do a completely new winter sport. I have been an avid MTB rider for a very long time just never make videos about it... maybe I should! :) Anyway - riding the bike like a bike and not trying to carve like I am on skis took me quite a while to adjust too. Places you may avoid on ski's could be just the ticket for a Sno-Go ha ha ha! So cool! Please let me know how you like it!!!

I don't think so because Carver only sells the trucks as a set or mounted with as a complete.

Oner of the coolest things about a SnoGo is how easy they are to learn on. MY knee is still not 100% so looks like I will be hitting the slopes on the SnoGo again this season.

Ouch! I have not been out much since I destroyed my knee last winter skiing. I will get out and skate again soon tho I may learning all over again lol.

Ahhh the US soccer mom van. Not comparable to me as it is only available with a lift gate. For some van adventures that can work just fine, especially for the $. The Chrysler seat fold down in the van may just the best of any van or suv - but you will have to get past those horrible cheap plastic interiors and unreliable and outdated powertrains.
