@@Devil_Slayer I have a bit of a dichotomy with this game. From an objective perspective, the sequel is better. But I cannot make myself love the sequel as much as I love the original. Must be nostelgia.
IMO the original has a lot more replay-ability. Everytime I consider picking 2 back up I remember taking photos of everything and Im kinda like, yeah once is enough.
People may say this is outdated and all, but the main dancer movements at the beginning, as well as some other animations, were very well done for the time this was made. Also, I always found it funny that everyone had to stand to operate the giant robot, but Toan had a customized seat for him.
@@Devil_Slayer STILL use it when my game is going slow in upgrading XD I make it a priority to at least have all the main individual best OP weapon for EACH character.
I can see that we all unanimously used Ruby and her best weapons/magic to defeat the final bosses It was worth using all those poison apples for materials
As a kid, yes, but then as an adult I challenged myself to defeat all the enemies with Toan (and using other characters when needed). It makes all the bosses more complicated and fun to figure out.

I love this game very much it has been a part of my life for many year. I wish they would make the third game but it won't happen. Unfortunately I feel and if it just won't happen. That's very unfortunate. But if a great game and it's a part of my childhood and I will never forget it. I love this game to death and I will remember it and play it till the day I die. Thank you for the upload bro. Have a good one bro
I think that Simba somehow sent Seda's body up to heaven after he stabbed himself in the abdomen, hence why we don't see Seda's dead carcass on the floor of the foyer area in Dark Heaven Castle.
One thing that's a mystery to us is whether or not Seda and Sophia are either married or engaged, because on Seda's wiki page on the Dark Cloud wiki, it says that Sophia is his fiance. Edit: Plus, I like to imagine that Seda and Sophia had a lot of s** off screen either after their romantic talk on the balcony in the ending cutscene or a few days after that because I can just imagine the wound that Sophia has on her back giving her problems.
@@rowenawyld8729 update: Dark Cloud 2 movie will be uploaded around Saturday or Sunday this week ^^ Ps I really didnt like the game 😂 it wasn't as good as the first one imo
I know everyone says the sequel is better but I just can't help but love the original so much.
Who says the sequel is better? Every fan I know LOVES and prefers the original over the sequel
Love both equally for their OWN charm. I can say as well both stories had me crying. Got me good in my heart.

Who the fuck says that? The sequel is fucking garbage
This is my all time favourite PlayStation 2 game and this game is an absolute classic. And I still play this game on PS4 as part of PS2 classics
Bro Sameeeeeeee
I played till I broke my best weapon then i was done and went to DC 2

This game NEEDS an anime adaptation
It would be perfect, I could see it becoming an instant cult classic.
I can just imagine a manga based on this game! 😊
The weapon customisation on this was soooo addictive
And there's weapon exploit in the game that is SOOOOO overpowered

Same XD

Toan. A great one. I feel like him when accomplishing things. He did something big too. Give me a childhood. Thanks for this game movie!!

What's your favorite soundtrack of the game? Just curious of others opinions
Instead of a third game, they need to remake the first one with voice acting, more dialogue for the other characters and the gameplay of dark cloud 2
This game is a masterpiece!!!! I cried when I was a kid when I heard the girl jumped in the sea.
Toan face when Ruby demanded reward on the weapon shop was priceless! Glad shes being fair for Toan
This game is god tier and that intro dance is very funny.
Ikr! Wished it had voice acting though 😔
that’s a real cult blood dance with some cultural dances mixed in
Sophia's death is terribly sad as I did lose a friend called Sophia so I was glad she was brought back to life again.
Aw man, sorry to hear that. Yeah, this game was VERY dark
Damn, that really bites. Sorry to hear that
Darn...

Oh how i love treant he sleeps till you water him such a lovely being
I find it weird how the dark genie didn't finish off Toan when he defended Xiao against his beam attack
You know villains never kill off the protagonist so early in the story 😋
I think he was kind of amused at someone protecting a cat, and also Seda was still proactive in the shared mind.
Probably because he had plans for Toan
No doubt it was challenging to compete the story especially defeating The Dark Genie no doubt. And I enjoyed that challenge.
Came here for nostalgia and soundtrack, great game thanks for posting!
I know the ost is out there too, but something charming about watching the cutscenes along with

Great Game Movie Johnathon. P.S I have seen Falcon & The Winter Soldier Episode 5 yesterday! Great as usual.
This games story is solid
Way better than the second game, that's for sure
