Thanks man! It's pretty easy. Cost me $12 and about an hour and a half to do both side window trim and my rear trunk trim. The vinyl I bought was super forgiving. It doesn't trap air bubbles.

Do you know the approximate length of vinyl wrap needed to wrap all of the window trim (on both sides of the car) and the one chrome trunk piece?
brand new MB GLC coupe in black...with ugly chrome window trim. Leaving wheels matted chrome color, but gonna try this vinyl wrap on windows. thanks
Are you cutting 1 inch trips? Or how much overhang should have?

I already did. I liquid wrapped (dipped) my car carbon blue pearls by myself in my moms back yard. I just recently peeled it off to get back to black. I'm picking out a new color in a few weeks and will do a video on how to dip your Benz. Check out my Instagram and you'll see. @flexx_alexander I don't want to vinyl wrap the car. Cost way too much when liquid wrapping is as good and it cost me $300 to change the color instead of $2,000-$3,000 for a wrap job.
The spray wax is just for that one time or every time u washh the car. ????? Flexxxxx

Thanks. It's actually quite easy. The 3M vinyl I got was very forgiving. It's the same one used to wrap roofs so there's little tiny holes that released air so you don't get air bubbles. I wrapped my wife's c300 roof with the same vinyl.
Why did car manufacturers ever think that cars needed to have all that chrome window trim
I guess to give it a luxury look. But most of the benzers hate it so we wrap it or black it out. Lol
Man I even see people adding MORE chrome to BMWs and Benzes all the time. It's depressing.
What I wanna know is when are we supposed to use a heat gun. ?????????????? Depends on the product ?

Hey Flexx!! about to purchase my Vvivid Gloss Black Vinyl to wrap my 2013 w204 c250 sport sedans window trim, trunk trim, fog drl light trim, and side markers. how juch vinyl do you think would be needed for whole project. I was thinking 4x5 ft do i need more or less?!
I think that’s plenty. Just going to have to do the top side trim in 2 pieces. It’s hard to find vinyl that will cover the full length of the top side trim.

How did you get the door window trim, did you remove the mirror ?
Nope. If you look at the window trim near the mirror, it's not covered by anything. You can vinyl right over without removing side mirrors. It's a tight spot but doable. I had a video of me doing it but it was kinda the same thing as the back window trim. I didn't want to bore the viewers.
Is the vinyl permanent? Can it be removed later? I'm asking because mine is a lease. Thanks.
It’s a sticker. Of course you can remove it. Depending on the quality of the vinyl, some might leave more adhesive residue then others. Don’t use cheap Chinese or cheap brand vinyl. Use 3M or Vivvid vinyl.

No heat needed for this?
You don’t need heat if you lay down the vinyl flat without stretching it or pulling at it.

So you recommend to use heat pistol no matter of temperature outside? asking because here is 30 degree and I though it will be easy to attach it without heat pistol :D@@TheFlexxGarage
Vinyl wrap. No matter what your are wrapping. If you can wrap something cold (without heat) that’s the best cause there won’t be much pullback. But sometimes heat is definitely needed for curves and edges.

Why not remove the trims ?
I thought about doing that but it's a pain to do and you risk bending or denting the trim. My videos are all about trying to make things easier so almost anyone can do it. Removing the trim requires alot more skill then just putting the sticker on top of it.
