I would want to know what broke this camshaft in the first place... I also question if this repaired cam is still indexed "timed" correctly.. ... among other concerns....

Indexing is very critical of the positions of those two separated parts the lobe centers must be identical or the motor will not function properly ".

This is a fake repair! The camshaft was newer broken, it was cut in two pieces by a gas cutting torch, just for youtube. The young craftsman is a very clever guy in using his turning lathe, but it is not possible to make it perfectly straight with this simple machine this way. And he didnt consider the timing of cams before welding together the parts

Definitely fake. The cam lobe has a blue tint from overheating.. and imagine the bushing and tappers wear by just filing the journals and lobes

The strength is no the same, but probably will work for couple months.

You can see that these parts are taken from the scrapyard and after "repair" they definitely come back there. This has nothing to do with real repair.
