So confused on this hack job... The part they glued back on is so much shorter than the one they cut off. How will this go back on? The repair will only last a few days, if that, but still.

The grinder guy had glasses. Great ppe . These guys are amazing . Emagen what they could do with the right tools . . And that's where all our machines come from .

The original pieces cut off seemed to be longer than those they were replaced with! Any health and safety officer in a western engineering workshop would have kittens at these working conditions.

Nice welds, no porosity, looks solid. But arent the arms shorther than previously?
Nice welds doesn't mean that it's a good weld. They started in the middle of the arm and left a area which they filled up later. I'm not a expert in welding but I would have started from the outside and even welded to it so that I can start from the outside and go with the weld material in the V

Love how they are double and tripple checking every line, and using the original bolt to check fit. Guess if you have no premade jigs you have to constantly check what you are doing. I would be a little bit worried about slag inclusion, though.

No goggles for cutting is one of the few things I wonder about, there’s potential that they work with such thick material the light is rarely ever above the surface.

У нас просто по сварке вырезали старые и вваривали новые.
Зачем наплавлять или втулить, проще стрелу обрезать и новые куски приварить, те отверстия что он плазмой отчертил интересно соосно получаться друг другу? Я блин сотки ловлю индикаторами для посадки втулок с натягом, а тут уровнем ловят сотки относительно чего то

You know if the knotheads that operate this equipment would grease it and keep the lubricants applied right these hard working repairmen wouldn’t have anything to do like fix these machines and make good videos. Keep fixing 👍👍👍

You must remember there’s some people that just don’t have access to grease to keep on hand and when they do they do.
The fine equipment that we produce is too good for them. they should be limited to horses, oxen and maybe a couple of elephants.

I think they need to join a union so the union can fight for them.

How come they never use a work bench so everything would be leveled properly and why do they have to curl up to do there work with grinders and torches,the worst thing you could do much easier to have accident.Safety gear zero to none.On the other hand they are honest hard workers with a low wage.😮
