- For burning 1 litre of petrol your engine needs 14.7 litres of Air (at STP) This is known as stoichiometric Ratio. So for best performance and mileage from your Motorcycle we need to adjust the carburetor in such a way that it can supply stoichiometric Air-fuel mixture to your Engine. Both Rich and lean mixture are undesirable for your Engine.Here in this Video I explained that how you can tune your carburetor for maximum possible mileage. Further I explained that carburetor is not responsible for all mileage related issue in your Motorcycle.
Following are the other factors which can lead to low mileage issue
1)worn out piston's compression rings
2)leaking head valves
3)worn out clutch plates
4)Clogged air filter
5)low tyre pressure
etc

my 15 years experience, this is a Wrong method. Most of the carburetor tuning video guys first they did increase idle and adjust the fuel or air screw highest r.p.m that concept is entirely wrong. From honda service manual the idling should be 1500. If you raise 3000 and above the mixture comes from main jet.first identify whether it is c.v carburetor or ordinary carburetor both carburetor tuning method is different

Guruji pranam, i have an observation, despite ur videos suggesting to increase rpm slightly before setting a/f ratio to better understand fluctuations in rpm, i feel its not the correct way. In some cases it engages the main jet also, which sets wrong a/f ratio. Not noticeable as such to layman, but it robs the user of a crisp throttle response. Thoughts? ( this statement in my experience holds true no matter how lightly u raise the idle before setting ratio, or irrespective of main jet needle clip position or headlight on/off scenarios )

Mujhe pehle 55km/litre ka mileage milta tha.
But last time full servicing dene ke baad mera mileage 30km/litre se k ho geya he mileage. Kya karu ab?
last year february me meine servicing karaya tha usme meine:
New air filter
Engine oil, disk oil, front shock absorver oil, change kiya tha.
Tavhi se mera mileage dhire dhire kam hone lag geya. Aur ab ek saal me mileage 55 se ghat ke below 30km /litre ho geya he.
Aur ek baat, jab meine air filter neya lagwaya tha, tab two covers jo hota he, pehle ek waise he lagaya hota he aur uske baad ek screw tight wala cover. Usme se weise he lagaya huwa cover usne fek diya aur sirf screw tight krne wala cover he lagaya. Kya yehi karan he mileage prblm ka?

Abishek ji initial starting time how much acceleration should show in meter, second how much turn we we need to turn the acceleration screw. After reach maximum point of acceleration rpm. Finally set point rpm and number of turns rotation for air fuel mixture screw.

Guru ji, Finally, how many turns you had to set finally. I counted 3 and 1/2 turns.
It was quite informative. Can you tell me why my Activa 2007 model, rear wheel is giving vibration when I give a little raise on idle speed. I have checked and repaired clutch assembly, variator assembly, and belt also changed. Checked and replaced the mounting bushes of engine and the rear suspension with new. All the rear wheel bolts are intact and tight with the required torque. Brake liner also changed with new. Still the problem persists. What would be the cause?

Mileage also depends upon your driving habits and traffic conditions. You can simply change your spark plug if it is too old. Clean the air filter and keep recommended tyre pressure.

Sir I have watched your videos. They are very good. Keep up good work. Sir I have super splendor made 2006. Last time I have serviced my bike from then my bike is not getting it's too speed. It can take up to only 70-75 kmph. I have changed my bikes clutch plates. Still the issue is same. My mechanic said that he has changed piston rings but not cylinder. The cylinder and piston is ok. After that this issue has stated. I commute a lot about 100km per day. So this low speed is consuming my time. Please help.
