He didn't want to leave the group, just slow down the amount of shows they were doing. The other three wanted to ramp up the amount of shows they did. They looked at it as a full-time career. They made the decision to find another bass singer. Martin didn't leave and they didn't kick him out but him not being in the quartet is the result of what happened. Kinda confusing, a little convoluted but that's basically what happened.

Tony had just had a procedure done on something in his throat having to do with his vocal cords so he was just out of commission that year but whenever conventions get back he'll be in front of the AIC Chorus as far as I know!
