  • The Dance of the Dragons, the infamous Targaryen civil war featured in House of the Dragon, is known for its destruction. But did it truly erase Aemond Targaryen's bloodline? This video delves into hidden histories and shocking theories suggesting his legacy may be more far-reaching than we imagine. Starks seemed to be the caretakers or inheritors of secret Tygaryen bloodlines. I wouldn't be shocked if Lyanna ended up being part of some secret Tygaryen bloodline that caused Rhaegar to become obsessed with the idea of her .

      @@indiadecoseytillman the theory is about aemond and alys' son founding house whent and continuing their line down to catelyn tully-stark and her children. in 131 AC alys ruled harrenhal as a ''witch queen'' with her son until 151 AC then harrenhal passed to house lothston suddenly and then years later suddenly a new house started the rule again and that house is house whent. they continued to live and marry just like every house do and catelyn stark's mother is a whent so theres a theory about catelyn and her chidren being aemond and alys' descendants.

    I like the idea Aemond’s son had a child with a whent, since we know Alys did have a child, and that the castle was under her rule until 151AC, quite enough time for her son to be old enough to have children, and the whent child later became Minisa Whent’s ancestor, who was Catelyn’s mother, and thus all Ned Stark’s children are part targaryen, and thus not only did the green bloodline not die out, but ironically they became the ruling lord paramounts of the north and Edmure himself is heir to riverlands, and even more ironic, becoming the house that toppled the last of the black targaryen branch from rule, achieving a final green victory.
    This would be so incredible, because no one would be truly aware, it would be a secret that would only be brought up in fire and blood 2 if George ever writes it, and thus make the stark kids and Catelyn’s actions and personalities and dreams in hindsight very interesting, for instance Catelyn’s temper and dislike of bastards a inherited trait from Aemond, Arya admiring visenya so much, Sansa being so lady like just like Alicent, Bran being a dreamer like Daenys and Heleana, Robb being very gifted in battle but letting emotions overcloud wisdom, Rickon’s temper being the dragonsblood awakening.
    Plus make it so funny, Robert was literally gonna have someone of Targaryen blood marry his son and the heir after his son a part targaryen, and not just that of the bloodline that was his grandmothers families enemy.

    Well. . . . .theres also a theory that said that Daeron before engaging in war, he got a child just in case everything goes south. Thats why Daenerys is quite resemblance to Lynesse Hightower. Or that Jace got married with Sarah and get her pregnant. Or one of the famous Bastard child of Aegon II, could have been exchange with. Aegon III or Viserys. . . . . . . so there are some room for crazy wild thing.

    Interesting video
    The theory, creative as it might be, has no support beyond the supporters themselves wanting it to be true. House Whent is likely to House Lothston what House Cassel is to House Stark: sworn allies and perhaps even related, hence the sigils. As of the Starks potentially having Targaryen blood... Aemond wouldn't be needed for that, any descendant of Baela, Rhaena, Elaena, etc. could have found their way to the family tree through thhe Blackwoods

    Well, GRRM has a serious problem with his 'magic bloodlines': Daenerys is more Bracken&Blackwood than Targaryen-Dragon-Riders, so is Jon. - UNLESS Aegon and Aemond AND Daemon fathered LOADS of children to boost the Riverland-&Vale Houses. Daenerys and Jon's Dragonblood runs extremely thin, Daenerys only 1/8th, and Jon 1/16th Targaryen. And for a show-teased king Bran to warg a Dragon in the end it would need some groundworks.
    GRRM's in the last decade after he complained about it, was buisy laying groundworks for plausibility, after he had claimed, that he wanted to keep it real, and he could not logically defeat biological facts (he talked about Wyverns and genetics) , so he altered some things, and bullt backstories.
    - The First men-house of the Riverland-Masseys (this first-men woman as a foremother to the Velaryons and Targaryens was specifically entered in the story) were married to Velaryon-Targaryen halfbloods with children of unspecified fate, who most likely married into the Riverlands. He stated that the Starks, Strongs and Masseys (and Karstarks) are cadet lines of the same weirwood-blooded First-Men- House.
    - He added hints that Jaehaerys wasn't faithful to Alysanne (probably out of spite nor was she in the time they spent apart with her in the north). Additionally their youngest daughter supposedly died in childbirth along with her child. But what if that was only a cover-story for the girl/her daughter to disappear from the royal wedding-scemes, that had already caused so much harm in the family, Alysanne having had too less influence/interest to stop it.
    - Aegon II has fathered a child on a LADY from the Riverlands - so it's a 'Great Bastard' that can be married off to another house (Probably Bracken or Blackwood, they do cousin-mariages, it would keep the blood thick.
    - Aemond fathered a son on Alys (that probably grew to adulthood - there is also this black-magic Lothstone/Whent thing going on) And there might have been a Bracken or Blackwood-child that could have thickenened both, the Targaryen and Stark Bloodline
    - Daemon probably fathered a child on Nettles, who went to the Vale to live with the Burned Men, probably children of whom one could be the first-men Royce that wed into the Starks
    - And for thickening Jon's blood it needs Jacerys fathering a child on Sara Snow, the Starks marrying cousins, too.

      It's not that thin. Because Visery's II wife, Larra Rogare, was a reknown descendant of High Valyrians from Lys (probably even from a lost dragonlord family). Then you have the Martell which has blood from Daenerys (the sister of Daeron) remarrying into the bloodline. Then the Daynes which are rumored to posess some Valyrian in them (They do have the purple valyrian eyes and some even the white hair). Then we have Blackwood heritage marrying into the family through the wife of Aegon V but the Blackwoods have some "magical abilities" and are related to the Plumms which have Valyrian ancestry. Finally you have Daenerys' granparents and parents who married among siblings so the proper blood is not 1/8th. Regardless of it, it got boosted with Daenerys after the fire ritual.

    • @MagnaMater2
      @MagnaMater2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Alejojojo6 Ah, I missed the Blackwoods relation with 'the Plumms', thank you. But my point was, that GRM has spent the last decades with worldbuilding and writing ancestry-stories to his characters, to explain their gifts. We will certainly get details about The Blackwoods in the She-Wolves of Winterfell, whenever that comes out.
