I've been playing for too long to have such bad form, but one thing that I realized is that I get caught flat footed on my off foot. Your advice on staying on your toes on your off foot will make such a big difference. I enjoy seeing others and myself improving at this sport with some of your good tips. Thanks, Danny!
Hey, I really enjoy the content. I have been playing disc golf for just about a year. I have found your videos the most helpful as I trim my bad habits from my game and add better form.
Good shit man. I’ve been playing for about 8 months, and playing in tournaments since August. I’ve used your material more than anything else in terms of working on form, and have gotten my player rating up from 841 in September to 885 in the last update. Thanks.
I rambled for a while and didn't proof! My bad! I'll check the clip real quick. Edit: The rest of that sentence is "you're going to end up moving slower" Missed the cut by a few seconds. Sorry!
Great video! Thanks for the information and I like your style a lot Danny. I was wondering if you would put a video out on how to do an effective Push Putt? I'm trying but it's more of a Spush Putt (Spin/Push). :)
what do we think about Grady Shues form? He turns his body way before last step and his x-step foot is planted pointing backwards, that said he has amazing pacing, very calm and balanced and he plants his right foot on toes too. He can throw
So when I throw back hand I curl all the time. I think it's because I release on a hyper most of the time because hyper flips feel more comfortable with me. How do I stop curling all the time?
Fantastic Video, but your videos are a little to fast for me at regular speed. I slowed the "Playback Speed" to .5 and it is nice slowmo, but man it sounds like you are a lush .....LOL. Seriously, I used pictures of your videos and cut & pasted to my x-step video into a word document to help me correct the mess that is John:)
I like the revisit but...I am more confused than before. I would’ve Iiked to see a then and now comparison. Your explanation without a demonstration didn’t work for me.
That shirt was a limited run for team members. But similar designs are available for people who run tournaments with Dynamic Discs. It has something to do with players packs and the tier of sponsorship but that's the only way I think it's possible to get them.
9:49 Because, anytime in disc golf you're trying to put a MASSIVE effort into something.... So that's my updated take on disc golf footwork.... Man, way to leave me hanging... lol
My bad! I'll check the clip and see what I was saying. Edit: The rest of that sentence is "you're going to end up moving slower" Missed the cut by a few seconds. Sorry!
@@DannyLindahl thanks man, your videos have really helped me improve my backhand timing and drive distance. Still have a ways to go, but I guess 350' is pretty respectable for a 45 y/o guy
@@DannyLindahl btw, here's a quick video of my drive if you care to critique, or use in a future amateur versus pro form video. th-cam.com/video/u2jR9GqbYBs/w-d-xo.html

Good stuff Danny! Teaching is an evolution.
So excited for updated videos ... I’ve learned so much from watching your videos ... great teacher and I’ll cya in next one
Love your vids! Thanks for the time and effort you put into them.
Nothing wrong with re-doing all your videos. Different perspective now that you're older, is going to make you a better teacher.
Thanks for the revisit. I'm really struggling with getting my lower body and upper body synced. Gonna try some of the things you touched on.

Love your content on youtube and streams on twitch @Dannydisc! Keep it up D!
9:54 sounds like something got cut out

Danny after years I found that keeping your hips and shoulders in sync is how you develop "pro" form.
It takes a lot of guts to go back and critique your own videos. I applaude that.
Your doing a great job keep it up
I've played craighead! I think it's hole 14... Thanks for the tips about the hips!

"This is an example of what not to do". Proceeds to talk about how he parks the hole.

video starts at 2:20 no need to thank me
can you add the link to that one leg drill you've referred to?
Done! Thanks!
No "big yeet" allowed in disc golf confirmed.
Finally a new video!!!!!!
So when I throw back hand I curl all the time. I think it's because I release on a hyper most of the time because hyper flips feel more comfortable with me. How do I stop curling all the time?
That would be hole 14. Nice shot!
Have you watched Johnny Cueto pitch? Winds WAY around.
Yeah I don't know much about baseball. But, his foot is still pointed at third base, not second base. Regardless, I'll stick to disc golf...

Go look at Louis Tiant pitch he would litterally turn and look straight at second base. He was amazing.
Danny, do you still do form critiques?
I do if you post it in Discord! There's a link in the description!
Nice video! Where can I get that shirt? Looks great!

Hmm, that one leg drill video leaves me confused. You're saying that what he's saying is what I should be doing, right?

"big yeet"
Bring back the stache 2020
Less talking about the old, more about how it should be done, so too much rambling from time to time ;)
Big Yeet would be an awesome band name.
Feel like the video was rushed. Like the idea but would rather see you just make a newer video actually covering proper footwork...
ohh, I know that hole its hole 3 and its 4.318 feet xd
