  • I was able to get a quick flight in in-between the rain before I had to head back to work.
Decided to take the J-3 up and answer some questions you had.

“Too fast” Something you don’t typically hear someone in a J3 say… lol

Hahaha I didn’t even realize it. I only ever think about those STOL guys coming it ridiculously slow

I think it would be cool to see a little of your day job some time, if they would allow any filming. Flying private jets sounds way more interesting than flying for the airlines.

They are cool with it, I’ll start showing more of my daily stuff

    Another great video!
I look at entry level aerobatic planes occasionally. RV3.4 and 8, Panther, REVO SAW, DR1 maybe a pitts. What would you recommend to someone wanting to wet there toes in “In the Box” flying?
Reflecting back to IMAC days in the lower classes a guy could fly a “lesser” craft and do well if he simply burned more fuel than the competitors. I would think the same principle would apply at full scale.

I’m going to use this as a topic in a video! I think it’s a great topic

Enjoyed it man as always. Love watching Steve as well and his channel turned me on to Luke...love his channel as well! If you and Luke did a collab that would be awesome. I think I asked him about this before...I don't think he's ever flown an Edge. He's a couple of questions for your Q&A's - What is currently in your hangar? I'm thinking Pitts, Christen Eagle, Edge, J-3, and an Ultralight? And the tough one - If you could only have one airplane, which one would it be?

I’d be up for an airplane swap collab sometime this year. 🙃

Flying an older Cub what types of mounts have you used/ made for your film equipment? I fly an 46’ Taylorcraft and haven’t found a good way to secure cameras. Also any tips for pilots chasing their 250 hours?

I use a suction cup mount on the inside window, then a pole mount by FlightFlix on the wing. Also I bought a new grip mount on amazing for like $20. I’ll make a video showing them

The only tips for chasing the 250 number is fly to as many new airports that you can and have fun with it. Soon other people will be telling you where to fly, right now you get to choose
