    ••• RECIPE •••
See end of video for recipe
    Essential oil blend for fragrance:
    Sweet Orange 6X - 20%
    Lavender - 25%
    Lavandin - 20%
    Litsea Cubeba - 30%
    Patchouli - 5%
First time using this blend. I liked it much better after the soap cured a few weeks and the litsea cubeba had faded a bit. It’s a nice fresh scent, but I’ll probably lower the litsea to about 25% and up the lavender/lavandin next time.

DISCLAIMER: I make these videos to share my own personal methods and techniques for how I make cold process soap. These videos are not intended as tutorials for beginners. These videos are intended for those who already have an understanding of cold process soap making. Cold process soapmaking has many variables and involves working with sodium hydroxide (NaOH, also referred to as lye). Lye and raw soap can damage your eyes and burn your skin. When making soap, you should already know and practice lye safe handling procedures and always wear safety gear. While I hope you find watching my videos helpful or entertaining, so many variables go into making soap and even the smallest change can greatly affect the results; therefore, I am not liable or responsible for your results if you try any of the methods or techniques that I use in my videos.

Hi everyone! This was such a fun technique to learn and has so many possibilities...how many colors you use, where you pour in the mold, moving the cups as you pour, etc.
I hope you're all doing well! Thank you for watching! - Holly

I like how your video shows the difference as you pour between staying higher during the pour and when getting right down to the mold. The lower pour is obviously better. Thanks for sharing this and helping us understand this technique better.

I made this soap and only change I made was the EO, plus I did it at 110F instead of 88F as I had to be somewhere. I found it was super thick even after stick blending for only 5 seconds. Does the lower temperature (ie 88F) allow you to work with it longer?
