Hi everyone! In case you're interested, I add English (US) captions to all of my videos. If you prefer the captions in a different language, just follow these steps on a desktop computer: 1) turn CC on (bottom right corner of video) 2) go to the settings wheel (bottom right corner of video) 3) select Subtitles/CC 3) select Auto-translate & a list of languages will pop up 4) select your desired language Now the subtitles should show in the language you selected. I don't think translation works on the YT mobile app yet. However, if you use the Chrome browser to watch the video on your phone or tablet (instead of using the app or mobile site) and select Request Desktop Site from the Chrome settings menu, you should see a normal desktop layout and these steps should work for you. I get asked about captions a lot, so I hope this helps! 😊💕 - Holly
These are absolutely beautiful Holly. They remind me of some of the natural stones my husband polishes, doing lapidary. I find your videos incredibly soothing & watch them when I need down time. Thanku 😊
Holly- you and Terri are my FAVORITE soapers. Your videos are detailed in beautifully shot, your soaps turned out wonderfully, and both of you have very relaxing voices. I also prefer how you do yours naturally, as coloring naturally can be super difficult. And I’m a very big fan of relaxing piano music. I don’t really watch a lot of TV, but I watch TH-cam videos where I can learn things. I am a soaper myself, but not as good as you. However I just wanted to say I really appreciate your videos. Thank you so much! And happy soaping!
Oh, thank you SO much! That's so kind of you to say! I think Teri is amazing, so your comment just makes my day! It's always so nice to hear from other soapmakers, so thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and say hello. I really appreciate you watching my videos, too! - Holly
None of your soaps will ever be a fail, sweetie! They are all beauties🥰 looks like such a fun technique and thank you for the tips, will definitely give it a go! Thank you again for a fab video, so cool to watch you soap🧡🙏
Absolutely beautiful soaps - I think that the colours not going all the way to the bottom is an artefact of this technique. You inspire me to move back towards natural colourants. Holly, thanks for being so open and sharing your soap making knowledge.
They're all beautiful! I liked the original tops of the 2nd and 3rd attempts. The finer lines under the surface could have been a wonderful surprise for the people using the soap to discover!
So fascinating to see other techniques. I’ve always wanted to try this particular swirl because I find it so flowingly beautiful. Thanks for showing how this is done Holly. Beautifully presented. ❤️
Very nice Holly. You definitely achieved the thin lines. The natural colors were well chosen as they blended quite well. I thought your measuring technique for the secondary swirls was a superb way of replicating the design in each bar. Thanks for sharing.
All three batches are uniquely beautiful! Thank you for showing the results using different trace levels for the base. I've been putting this off, worried I wouldn't get it right. 💕
I signed up to become a part of the Soap Club. Right now I'm just a voyeur hopefully I'll have the nerve to do a project by next year lol. Your project turned out beautiful
Hi Holly, these are all beautiful 😍. I would like to try this design. Hope you're doing well. I patiently wait for your relaxing, wonderful videos. Stay well. 💕🥰
Thank you so much! It's a fun design to try. I felt like I had plenty of time to work on the swirls without being in too much of a hurry (like usual..LOL). Hope you're doing well! Can't believe it's the end of September already. 😊💕
Ty do much. I am very new and I have a question about the subflower oil. Being that the shelf life is shorter on this oil, does it shorten the shelf life if your soap.. or am I just new and confused lol.. probly so
Thank you so much! I really like the planer I used in the video. It takes off a bit more soap and seems to do a cleaner job than my small acrylic planer.
I have been unsuccessful in finding orange illite clay to purchase. Is it known by any other name? Can you share any links to suppliers that carry it please? Thank you. I really love this design!
I use the warmth of the oven to make sure the soap goes through gel phase. When the soaps gel, the colors will look a bit brighter and the soap can be unmolded sooner (usually). The soap still needs to cure 4 to 6 weeks so that the bars are hard enough to use.
Nice video, besides the plug to purchase more stuff, perhaps rework your sales techniques. As watching a beautiful demo like this, only to find that you have to purchase something. Feels off on this type of platform, but I understand that we all need to make money....we need to help each other. Thanks for the demo on the technique..
I'm not selling or plugging anything. I'm certainly not making any money off of any of this other than a little TH-cam Adsense which barely amounts to anything. I'm not affiliated with the Soap Challenge Club in any way other than as a participant. I'm simply letting people know why I can't share the recipe (because I normally list it for them) and where to get it if they want it...where I purchased it. It takes me an incredible amount of time to make these videos, and I charge nothing for any of the information.

May I ask where you purchased that planer from? It looks great! And stunning results in those soaps ❤
Beautiful 💗
Thank you!! 💕
Your so talented
Very beautiful thank you
Beautiful
Thank you!
I love the darker one without TD. They all are very beautiful! I need a better planner I think, mine never look that perfectly after I plane mine.
Could you share the dimensions of your soap mold! That size seems perfect for me as a hobbiest
How can I find perfect soap formulation for me?
I have purchased soap from you before. Do you still have your shop? I do not see a link . *Fingers crossed*
No, I'm sorry! I closed the online shop in early 2019. I had to quit selling soap due to some health issues. Thank you for asking, though!
Thank you for the reply. I hope all is well and thank you for the tutorials . As always your work/videos are outstanding.
Even the “fails” are pretty
Thank you!! 💕
Gorgeous
Thank you!
Very nice
Thank you!
maravilhosos, meus parabens.....................................
Thank you!!
Without the additional "s" swirl at the end, would be a nice wood grain style
Why you using Oven process.what is benefit of this steps..is this decreases curring time

@@hollysoapmaking Mercy for replying. 🌹
Shame the colours didn't go all the way through, the swirls look gorgeous!
Thank you!
You are ginios, ikredible, how nice, I, l never make soap like yours, thanks
