Thank you for showing shorter hair. Most of the videos with balayage show long, thick hair. So I've often thought that I couldn't have it done to my very thin, fine, above shoulder length hair. So I stick with my highlights and lowlights.

oh thank you! i have fine hair myself, everything is on thickhair ( i mean is does always look so full and beautiful I get it) but yes I agree we need more real life!

@@Cinnamongirl8611 ive left it on for over 60 min before. So long as its still wet its processing. Is that helpful?

@@dawnbradley thanks for the response. I've only used a basic powder bleach from salon services UK so far and mixed to a thicker consistency. Its worked out OK so far. I'm new to hairdressing but a grand old age of 38.

What volume did you mix it with?
I need to get people to do this to. Break free from foils.

Omg! I got to try this yesterday! (I put it out in the universe that I needed to try it... in walks a client!) I was a little nervous. It was a retouch and I normally would have brought more up higher, but I trusted the process and it turned out beautifully! My only mistake... I didn’t get a picture of it styled!
