    Ok my girl, you just helped me knock out how to do a wicked balayage!!! So, wide diagonal partings, and using the side of the brush to apply the bleach... Perfect! I’m still working out how high to take the bleach up to and the best way to feather the bleach out so it doesn’t make blotchy spots but these little hints have helped immensely! Thank you!!! can’t wait to see more helpful tricks from you! Maybe fading or feathering out bleach could be a good tut. Xo Shawna

    So with the hair that's in the middle of a painted section, I get blotches, little spots. I'm not really seeing you press it in until more midstrand to end. I fail at this much of the time.

      Oh interesting, is your lightener mixed real smooth? Sometimes I’ve found little powder bombs (I call them) that didn’t get mixed that can causes blotches, or that the lightener wasn’t applied even I’ll (my fingers used to pinch off the lightener) I don’t press it in until the ends so it’s only on the surface not saturating through. Does that help?
