It's Greg here, and you may know me from Cube Audio and Qualio Audio.
This is a first in a series of full range driver sound demos.
For the next few weeks, I will try to upload daily over 20 video demos of small full-range drivers that we have in our warehouse.
The cabinets are small bass reflex ones, and I use them for all the tests of 3-4" full-range drivers.
After I upload 9 videos with different 4" drivers that we have, I'll upload one master one where all are compared in one video.
    The setup here is:
Speakers - Tang Band 1320SIF full range drivers in DIY cabinets
Amplifier - Fezz Audio Titania with KT150 Tubes
    DAC - Lampizator Baltic 4 - www.lampizator....
    Cables - Audiomica - audiomica.com/
    Racks - Alpine Line - www.facebook.c....
Please let me know if you have any questions. You can leave a comment or write me directly at - info@virtualhifi.com

what I do here and would like to support the channel, except for getting the best speakers you can have ;) You can easily buy me a coffee here - buymeacoffee.com/VirtualHiFi

I bought the same speakers and now I'm wondering what kind of housing they need. It says on the internet that you need a 6.9L closed housing. is that correct?

      Hi,
I Would not go for a sealed cabinet for any fullrange driver. the Cabinets I used are made of 12 mm MDF and have 16x20x30 cm external dimensions so its similar volume but if you go BR you will get way better balance and that is what fullrange drivers need to impress. Buy 3-4 cm BR pipes and cut them even with a box knife into several lengths and listen which bass sounds best to you in our room.

      @@VirtualHiFi
Ah Okay, don't you think that 12mm MDF is a bit too thin? And did you connect the tang band directly to the amplifier or did you solder some filter beforehand.
      Thanks 😊

The pressure created by 4" driver is small enough so that 12 mm will do, but you can go 15- 18 with ease. I used what I had at the moment :)
No there is no filter. It's amp - cables - speakers :)

Thanks. I soldered a blocking circuit in front of the speakers, a 1mh, a 6.6µF electrolytic capacitor and an 8.2 ohm resistor (all in parallel) so that the speakers sound much clearer and cleaner. you have to try it too!
