If you tap on the word "more" (where it says "4.1k views 2mo ago ... more") and then scroll down you will see on the left "MUSIC 6 songs" below which there are the album covers. If you tap on each of those album covers you can hear the song NOT coming from the Qualio Ultras. To me those songs coming from the Ultras sound much more open and spacious. Instruments are more separated from each other. I much prefer what I hear from the Ultras. And listening with my HFiMan headphones I don't have any problems hearing defined center vocal imaging in the first track.😊

Haven’t heard a pair that I wouldn’t be happy with.

Just bought my first opamp mod LT1028 sounds so clean here and in real life. Took our Burson vivid v6 from the timekeeper 3i. 4 x LT1028 caused a lot of explosive and crackly issue on one of the channel. Kept 2 x v6 on the IV stage and the 2x LT1028 on LP stage. Cleaner background than 4xV6, lower-mid range forward, wider stage but more shallow, great dynamics, a tad less treble edge too. So cheap compared to buying 4xV7s etc. Thanks for sharing the vids, keen to hear anyone who can let me know why one of the channel started to crackle and pops when I fit all 4x dual LY1028. Voltage appears to match the specs.

May I ask why the woofer is not open baffle? Aren’t the low frequencies most affected by coloration in box setup?

Every dac is going to have a different sound signature hooked up to different current and electronics room treatments with or without to compare dacs with one system is uneducated and childish

i like Musical Fidelity, it sounds just right

My vote goes to the Epos. Mofi sounds bright and the Spendor sounds hollow. The Epos sounds more balanced with the best midrange quality compared to the other 2.

Clean but not sterile/ Great seperation/ Vocals very lively Warm but not at the cost of clairty or fidelity. The first song the womens voice was smokey, sultry and seductive as it should be. The second song was dynamic, whimsical, light and very fluid. The third song I grew up listening to at home my dad owned that album and it sounded just as I remeber it sounding! So it sounds like this new Qualio Quantum is not coloring the music at all and is accurately reproducing the source material faithfuly! My ears like what they are hearing!

I think your Qualio Quantum sound great but your recording technique is the best I have heard on TH-cam! A lot of other open baffle designs are just too heavy handed in one portion of the spectrum but not Qualio. The Qualio's are so ballanced that it is like they have the best characteristics of an infinite baffle design and the best characteristics of an open baffle. Too often we get extremes in designs we either get stand mountable bookshelfs that never fit a bookshelf or we get open baffles the size of a door with 15" drivers and compression horn tweeters with nothing in between! I am biased I like floor standing speakers. I do not like bookshelf speakers that wont fit on a bookshelf on any continent on the Earth that require expensive and often ugly stands with overly compromised designs. I like open baffle but can not pull barn door sized baffles away from the walls and still have usable space. I have a wife and 3 kids so even in America with a home much larger than is the norm for Europe or Asia there is a practical limit. Maybe Ikea will make an open baffle that folds into a bed and save us all! LOL Nothing matters more than the speaker and room treatment to your listening pleasure! I also think too many people expect too much from small speakers. There is a reason 98% of sound bars and 100% of cell phones sound terrible!

Forced to look at the SFs for an hour but never get to hear them?? I like the Dynaudio, Focal and Spendor. Having owned Dali floorstanders for 20 years, I hear a family resemblance, beautiful with female vocals. Not rock or metal speakers. And having owned Klipsch Quartets for many years, deja vu reminder I don't like shouty horns. I'd never use this as buying decision, but it's cool you can at least get the flavor over TH-cam.

The Wiim has a thinner sound and backdrop, than the Ever. Neither one compares to the Rose RS150B.

You should have 200K+ You have sooooo many DACs on hand … If you’re looking for an interesting comparison I would love to hear 4K sound sample comparisons of Denafrips Pontus 15th, Holo Audio Cyan 2 (unfortunately never seen/heard that anywhere) plus maybe the Weiss 204. And a streamer suggestion or two to match. I’m kinda stuck in decision making. Thanks in advance. Happy holidays.

I’m really enjoying not only your reviews but your choices in music, I grew up building and listening to Tube amplifiers in the late fifties and sixties and I built an eNcore D class amplifier which they now put in Purifi amplifiers, anyway your demonstration of the FOSI amps are brilliant, I already own the FOSI ZD3 dac so I guess I have to get the amps, thanks again, I will let you know when I get it all set up, happy holidays to you and family from Las Vegas, Nevada!☮️❤️

Those speaker cables are larger than what my arc welder uses. At first I thought they where those velvet ropes at the theater that guide people in the que.

Sounds great but looks terrible. Appearance wise looks like a cross between a public trash bin and a Dalek from "Dr. Who" that BBC TV show! I am talking about the speakers to be clear!
