My dad had this cassette when I was a young boy and we would sing along with it in the car. He passed away suddenly in Dec. 2013. These songs help me remember him teaching me to sing and knowing the different parts of a harmony. R.I.P. Norman Figg
Nathan, your comment brought tears to my eyes. When my younger son was a young boy, we played this cassette in my car. He's now 33, I hope he remembers those times when it's my turn to go home. My sincerest thanks to you sir. if you still have the chance to make memories with your young son I strongly suggest you take every opportunity you get. my suggestion is to build a memory, rather than let one for naturally. go get him pop out your Kingsman cassette and ask him to sing with you and make sure you show and let him know how much you are enjoying the time together. My younger son will be visiting next month, and you can be sure that I will have Kingsmen Silver queued up! I no longer have a cassette player, but I found some Kingsmen music on Spotify! I had this recording in 1984. Brother Garry Sheppard had just joined the Kingsmen that year as their newest tenor singer. I was blessed by this song then, & I still am now! Just think-One of these days, we're getting out of here, & we're going home to be with Jesus! Imagine-We'll be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb! We'll set at table with Moses, David, Joshua, and all the Saints of old! We'll be home with Jesus, never to die no more! No more sickness, sorrow, pain, & no more corruption nor sin ever again! HALLELUJAH!!! Are you ready? He's coming again!!! Be ready!!!!!!!
