Air Force Vietnam vet. I had limited hand to hand training, and it amazes me that punks and bullies seem to think picking on old men makes them big. I just give them the warning I'm a vet, trained, and some martial arts. Anything I bring to the table is built in and could turn deadly at any time. That's is being a story line is encouraging to those of who served and not respect for our service was given. Now though, older Americans and some younger folks actually born after 9/11 truly are thanking for our service. It's refreshing. Thevothers that are just paying lip service, I hope you actually don't learn the hard way that you are kept free by those of us, both prior service and surrrent service members have kept this country and others free, truly free to follow their own countries' fight to allow them to make their own decisions. My opinion. Thank you all Veterans, current members, and civilian first responders.

it’s heartening to see that more people are now expressing gratitude, especially younger generations who didn’t experience the conflicts firsthand. It’s a powerful reminder of how much our freedoms are owed to those who have served, and how important it is to appreciate the sacrifices made by both veterans and active-duty members. Your service, and that of all those who have worn the uniform, truly deserves our respect and thanks every day.
Especially when just communicating home & disrespectful of our brave men & women who have been through so much to give us all freedom that most people take for granted, personally I wouldn't have had the self control & had to break his arm so to give him a memory that he would never forget!!
@stevenstair1068 no he did not. That was a claim by a General that was anti Trump and he said it to Biden, who perpetuated it. Watch what both do, not just what they say. I watched Trump chase down and return a Marines head cover, he did not have to. I watched Biden check his watch every time a body of one of the 13 soldiers he was responsible for ghosting was wheeled past him....their families noticed as well. Those same families asked Trump to join them on Veterans Day at the resting place of the 13. Biden and Harris had better things to do that day. Harris was only 11 minutes away at the time. I stand with God, America and President Trump! Unapologetically!

Military training saved my life. I am a Vietnam veteran and I retired from the navy in 1995. 2012 I was working sugar beet harvest getting off between 9:00 and 9:30 PM. On the way home I came up with a 10-wheel truck and I looked around it for oncoming traffic, seeing none I started to pass. As I got to the front tandem, in his lights I saw the hood ornament of another truck. Without thinking I used a maneuver I had been taught at boot camp in 1971 and never used in the navy. Hard left until coming to the course I wanted, hard right to stop the turn and then center the steering. I stopped 5 feet off the pavement and the oncoming truck went between me and the truck I was passing. The second truck didn’t have any lights on as far as I saw.
@ I got out of the car, walked to the back and paced from the back bumper to the pavement. Got back in the car and backed onto the road and drove home. I don’t remember an adrenaline dump, maybe because I was looking for problems before I started around the first truck. Maybe because I have had so much combat.
My dad and one of his older brothers served in WW2 , one of my best friends served in Vietnam , and one of my schoolmates retired from the Army. I thank God for how the soldier stood up against the bikers. I'm very disappointed with the bikers. I'm very thankful for all of the soldiers. It's as I told a veteran I saw in a store I was thankful for him and all the soldiers. Plus, all soldiers and their families are in my prayers.
I lost my husband in 2006, he died from cancer caused by his exposure to many harmful chemicals on his job. He worked designing and building Defensive weapons to protect America. He worked very hard, he earned 3 college degrees and devoted 43 years to protecting our country. He wanted our military to have the very best weapons. He battled the cancer for 2 years and 5 months and worked 4 days during the work week, took chemo during 1 entire day and worked every Saturday and Sunday. He put in 12 hours every day he worked working on something top secret and very important that he wanted to complete before he died. When 9/11 happened he was in a meeting being held in a SCIF with Generals,Admirals and the Secretary of Defense. He wasn’t allowed to take a cell phone in the plant but he wore a pager. We had a signal if I double paged him, it was an emergency and he needed to call me. He stopped the meeting came out found a phone and called me and said what’s wrong, I told him we were under attack. I repeated the page when the second building was hit and I said the Pentagon had been hit. All of the important men from DC came out to find phones to try and get ahold of others in the Pentagon and tried to get flights back but as you know all flights were shut down. After that I hardly ever saw him, all he did was work then in 5 years time he was gone.
I want to thank all the branches of our strong military, What kind of country would we be if it was not for you! Thank you for taking the oath.Thank you for protecting us here at home and people abroad.❤❤❤
I once drove a bike gang of Marine Vietnam combat veterans out of their house across the street from my first home. The Free Wheelers they called themselves. There was never more than 10 or 12 of them. But they terrorized the neighbors and were driving down the value of my house. I bought my first 3 guns the night it began and because I took a Los Angeles Deputy DA to the gun store owned by a LAPD officer walked out with them instead of waiting 2 weeks, or whatever it was in California in 1976. I got a Bicentennial Mini 14 in that first batch. For the record I did not join the military because God gave me the winning number in the 1970 Draft Lottery for good behavior and being born on November 1, 1952. Plus as an American it bothered me that we would fight a war on the side of the colonial power trying to keep a colony and its wealth for the colonists . Call me old fashioned. I was a Republican by the way and later was involved in the Contra War and afterwards had Wyclif Diego as an employee at my shrimp processing operation in Puerto Cabezas. I am so dump I blocked the street in front if my home with my body to stop a biker from going 70 or 80 up and down it last year. After the yelling died down he apologized and never did it again. Afterwards I was thinking “ what an idiot, I’m in my 70’s now”. He waves when he putts by occasionally.
What an incredible demonstration of military training and composure under pressure! James’s calm demeanor and ability to neutralize the threat without unnecessary violence is a lesson in courage and characte
I was a Viet Nam aviator, trained by a Korean Master Sgt on martial arts. Mostly serious self defense on how to immediately immobilize an opponent, therefore, i choose not to fight unless absolutely necessary.
Coming from a old school military Veteran of Vietnam was a Security Specialist USAF and lives in Texas 🇨🇱 you don't think you can attack Veterans and get away with it.
Thank you for your service. Thank you to your family for keeping the home fires burning. My dad was in Vietnam from 1966-1968. He came home with everything still attached. 💙
Thanks for telling this story. I was stuck like glue to my tablet. God Bless our service men& women, our policemen & women, our firefighters…those that serve & protect…and God Bless America. No better country in the world to live in. And now that we have our President Trump coming back into office, it will be better than ever. He truly respects & honors those that protect us. God Bless President Trump.
My Dad was a WW2 veteran. Growing up I didn’t realize that he had been a war hero because he never spoke of it. When I would date hometown boys they always had me home on time and had such respect for my Dad. I asked my boyfriend at the time what’s the deal and he said his Dad told him stories about my Dads service record and the respect everyone had for my Dad. When he was dying of lung cancer I asked him why he never talked about WW2 and I had to hear things from other people and these were his words, You never brag about taking others lives because he said he carried each one in his heart. He apparently saved his whole platoon in France. He met my Mom in Austria and married her before he came stateside. Many years later I was told he saved my Opapa ( grandfather) from a concentration camp not knowing then who he was. The last thing he said to me before he died was live your life with no regrets and I’m 72 now and I have tried to live with those words. I appreciate every soldier including my son who has fought for our freedom 💕💕💕
@debraernst3628 Respect! One of my Grandfather's fought the German's at the Battle of the Bulge. Escaped only after he hid under the bodies of 3 of his buddies as the enemy overran them and were either shooting or bayonetting anyone in a foxhole. My Dad was in Vietnam and I fought in the invasion of Panama. Long tradition, but I know why your Father did not speak of his time in Hell. I feel that way every time a civilian asks if I ever shot/killed anyone. I close off.
@ My Dad didn’t ever talk about killing people either. He was WW2 and was among the soldiers that helped free people from the concentration camps. At the time he didn’t realize he helped free my Opapa ( grandfather). He met my Mother in Austria and married her before he came back stateside. Those were the kind of stories he told us. One story was that he and the soldiers he was with were so hungry, they saw an elk and killed it. Dragged it to a farmers house and the farmer helped them skin it and all my Dad wanted was a meal and the elk horns. He carried those horns on his back for the remainder of the war and brought them home. They hung in our family room until I was about 42 and I asked him where he killed a deer with horns that big and that’s when he told us the story. My husband was in Vietnam and he never ever talked about it. So he understand how you feel. Thank you for your service because you guys did not get a warm welcome when you came home but I was a teenager and didn’t understand much of what was going on. I just remember when the news came on and talked and showed news reels about Vietnam my Dad would turn the tv off. From all the boys in my small town that came home my Dad visited each one to welcome them back but I was so young and naive about the whole thing until I got older
My 84 year old veteran husband shed tears over this. What our VietNam Vets went through was even worse. It was hard to jut get a job, and men had to hide their military service. That was the 70s, and it was the only time I was ever ashamed of my country. I was so proud to be the wife of an officer and the sister of another. I have sons who have served since. When you treat a veteran badly, you treat an entire family badly. It’s disgusting. James, we know your value and we are grateful for your service. We are fortunate to learn of you and proud of your demeanor and your expertise. We are proud of your service and we care deeply about you and all who serve. Than you.
Thanks to the military worldwide. Remembrance Day is to remember all military world wide with thanks. I have visited many war graves multiple and. Singular. Those ones were more emotional a person buried where he stood. Thanks to those out there still looking for soldiers bones at send home to their families. We have our freedom thanks to all these soldiers, sailor, and airmen across the world that we have freedom. Let's keep fighting for it.

I'm a Navy veteran as well as a long time Harley rider. I have belonged to the Harley Owners Group (HOG) for about 20 years. HOG is full of Vets and honors them whenever possible. The next time you see a biker with a vest on, check for military patches. More than likely, you will see patches from every branch of the military. Trying to remove our flag or unit patch is a bad idea no matter how big the wearer is. We earned the right to display those patches. I have the deepest respect for the soldier in this story, thank you for your service.

I spent 6 months at Ft. Bragg prior to shipping out to Viet Nam. This story brings back many memories, some good, some not so good.
I thank God for how the soldier stood up against the bikers. I'm very disappointed with the bikers. I'm very thankful for all of the soldiers. It's as I told a veteran I saw in a store I was thankful for him and all the soldiers. Plus, all soldiers and their families are in my prayers.
The Difference Between Real Men .Credit To all Forces Personnel.
Salute
God Bless man like You & Thank You for your service to are country
OUR Country...
Its nice to be appreciated, especially after the cold, prejudiced way we were treated after Vietnam.

It's horrible the way they did y'all. Our government makes me sick and I hope Trump does something about it
My grandfather served in two wars for us so yes I respect military personnel and he had a Purple Heart and medal of honor medal
I love this.....I lost my husband....he was in military.....he passed away in the hospital.....passed away on 1-20-2024
I'm sorry for your loss .
May he rest in peace sorry for your loss
Sorry to hear that, you had a wonderful husband that want to fight to save his country. ❤
So very sorry for your loss.🙏🏻🇺🇸
Thank you for your Service Sacrifice. God Bless you.🙏🏾
True hero! God bless

Most bikers do not mess with soldiers, because alot of them are veterans.
God bless are military and there families. 💕🙏🇺🇸
Wonderful. Thanks to all who have served in any military branch , Police , FireFighters and all other first responders.
Welcome home and peace be with all you soldiers, and thanks for your service
I was a Viet Nam aviator, trained by a Korean Master Sgt on martial arts.
Mostly serious self defense on how to immediately immobilize an opponent, therefore, i choose not to fight unless absolutely necessary.
Wow 😮 I used to live in Fort Bragg North Carolina both of my Kids Born there ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ back in 1974
Awesome story 👏👏.
My admiration and thanks to all veterans and current serving military 🤗.
RIP to all who lost their lives serving their country 💔✝️
Thank you Soldiers and your families for your service and your sacrifice so that I could raise my children in freedom.
Vietnam Vet, whooya!!!!!
True American people love our military officers and veterans
See there's still those who will stand with us if things falter in the states thanks for their service
❤ Thanks again To all that Serve and also who put in ❤ To make a difference the younger generation after School join the Arm forces❤
Professionalism , training & self control demonstrated the actions of a true hero. God bless him.
Than you.
Same in Australia.
Thanks to the military worldwide. Remembrance Day is to remember all military world wide with thanks. I have visited many war graves multiple and. Singular. Those ones were more emotional a person buried where he stood. Thanks to those out there still looking for soldiers bones at send home to their families.
